  • Price.
  • I had to change rooms 5 times to get a clean one.

“1st room, barking dog next door, 2nd room air conditioner was broken after unpacking, 3rd room had broken fridge, not working after I unpacked again, 4th room smelled like rotten eggs, 5th room was decent. I have stayed at this hotel at least 5 times and have not had any problems. Quality going downhill fast.”

  • The hotel was wonderful, clean, charming and staff was excellent. My stay was great.
  • If I had to pick something, I would have to say that the bed was a bit too firm.

“I was very pleased with this hotel and will stay here again on my next trip to this area. I was very pleased with the service and the room was exactly as described. I enjoyed my stay and appreciated the low cost wireless internet.”

“The hotel was excellent. The location was perfect for our particular trip and the ability to prepare our own food was a big plus as well. The beds were clean and comfortable. Overall, very good!”

  • It was a very comfortable hotel.
  • No ice machines.

“All in all it was a pleasant experience. The only glitch was on Sunday night. I had extended my stay from a two to three night stay and the hotel booked it as two separate reservations with two separate rooms. As a result when I returned to the hotel at 1:15am my key didn't work and I had to track down an employee to fix the situation.”

  • Very clean, convenient kitchen for two. Private total bathroom away from the rest of the living space.
  • Kind of hard and tricky to find the location. Especially at night.

  • Rooms were big.
  • No cleaning service, extra charge for 2 beds in a room.

“The location was good rooms were clean. Did not like the fact that we had to pay extra for 2 beds in a room.40 percent more per day. Could have gotten a 2 star for that price. No one came around to give clean towels. Was not told about the cleaning of the rooms.”

“This hotel really only in a good location if you are going to visit Yahoo or the Great America theme park. I have stayed in similar suite-type hotels which include kitchenettes and this one was below par. I think they could do better.”

  • The staff went above and beyond with maps and directions.
  • Upon check-in, we were told that we would not get housekeeping service.

“Quiet. Fairly easy access from the 110 interstate. Fabulous staff. Only disappointment was the surprise at check-in that we would not get housekeeping service. The staff did at least offer us fresh towels.”

  • You only get your room cleaned once a week.

“We found our room and had to walk over a broken wine glass that had been left in our doorway, that was just the start of things. My husband and I had drove about 5 hours to get to the hotel and were exhausted.”

  • They did not have any record of our payment, so our credit card has been charged twice.

“I would never stay at this hotel again. Staff was somewhat helpful, but unknowledgeable. They had no record of our payment and insisted on using my credit card to pay for room, even though I showed them my printed receipt confirmation. Later they apologized, but I am still waiting for their charge to be removed from my credit card very unknowledgeable staff the info was there all the time, but they didn't know how to access it hotel should of had continental breakfast available for the type of hotel it was.”

  • Conveniently has a small but nice clean kitchen, dinning and living room.
  • I have forgotten unopened grocery goods. 3 hour later I went back to find them but they already got rid of it.

“I wish they had a policy of what to do with lost and found. I have been staying at this same hotel 5 weekends in the row, I may leave some thing accidentally. It would be nice if and when l forget some thing and be able to obtain again whether it's valuable or not.”

  • It was cheap.
  • Was supposed to have maid service once during my stay of 4 days, they did not appear. Trash was never emptied.

“This is an extended stay no frills hotel, I know that. I have stayed in them before. This one was way into an industrial park, to go to a store was miles way off. I asked if it was possible to check in one hour early, I know they don't have to do that, was told no with out even checking if room was available. I spent the hour in the parking lot because there was nowhere nearby to go to. then they never did the room refresh that was scheduled for Monday.”

  • At midnight on my 3rd day I could not get into my room. The card key would not let me in, had to call the night shift.

“This is a very hard hotel to find. It was clean and the staff was very helpful at a midnight hour when I could not get into my room. I would prefer not to stay here again. Just too difficult to find.”

“The hotel is very nice for the price I paid, the room was very spacious. The location of the hotel is away from anything, even the closest subway store 1 mile away, closes after working hours. You have to drive to do anything.”

“Toilet had been backed up had to use plunger myself as it was 3am. Carpet, chair and frig dirty. Maid changed towels on third day nothing else. Office girl very rude on phone. Would never stay here again as I felt positively dirty after spending almost a week with no housekeepingservices.”

  • The kitchen was not stocked to my expectations.

“The hotel was not near any conveniences. There was not enough parking. If you got back to the hotel after 10:00 pm you had to park far from your room. The kitchen had one pot and two plates for a family of four. The front desk was not open 24 hours. And last but not least they did not clean our room the whole time we were there even though they were scheduled too. I would not stay in the hotel again even if it was the cheapest.”

  • Be sure you call the hotel and inform them if you want smoking or non-smoking.

“The hotel is off of a quite location right next to Lawrence Exressway Highway 238 is in the background and it is still quiet. ”

  • The hotel was quiet on a weekend.
  • The hotel did not have a restaurant near by.

“The check in process was easy and it was easy to find your way to your room. The amenities in the room included a kitchenette with good size refridgerator. They did have Showtime on the TV. However, the doors of the closet were broken and off the track upon arrival and the pillows were bulky and hard as a rock causing a restless night. Overall, the hotel deserves a six on the scale and it is convenient for a business traveller.”

“The night front office staff was rude. I called to get additional pillows. After waiting 30 minutes, I called again. I waited an additional fifteen minutes for the pillows to arrive, and lost 45 minutes of sleep waiting for two pillows. When I pulled the covers down and got into bed, the top sheet, the bottom sheet, the mattress pad and the mattress had a large wet spot. I was moved to another room. When I checked out in the morning, I asked to have the manager contact me and left my cell number. He never did, although he claims to have had. ”

“This was the second night in this motel chain that I felt I had a security issue. The safety lock was broken off the door, so I had to block it with a table. Otherwise, it perfectly met my needs. It was clean and well-located.”

  • It's nice having a kitchenette with refrigerator, etc.
  • Traffic noise from freeway was a bit loud. TV was not great.

“Homestead Suites and similar places, though in some ways rather spartan, are fairly inexpensive, provide you with a kitchenette, and are generally very clean. This was no exception. I would recommend to all.”

  • The price was very affordable and was GREAT!!
  • You get what you pay for. The accommodations were not as they were during my previous stays.

“The front staff was very friendly upon arrival. I was disappointed with the dirt throughout the room. The dust/webs on the ceiling made it difficult to breath when I utilized the A/C or fan. Other then that, the location was optimal, as well as the ammenities. THANKS”
