• Nothing.
• The black mold, the freezing room, the smell.

“This hotel was disgusting. Not only was it questionable from a safety standpoint (horrible area) it had mold, was filthy dirty, the staff was so rude but more importantly I had to sleep in my UGG boots (no heat) and forgot them as they were still wrapped up in the blankets.”

• No frills, but very clean and comfortable. I was not expecting the frills, but was surprised at the comfort.
• No coffee, but that is ok. Had to get key cards replaced every day, they just didn't work right, but not a big deal.

“Like I said, I did not expect any frills for the price. But my family and I were very surprised. We asked for non smoking and for two rooms. They gave us two rooms and they were connecting at that. Very nice. Also, the rooms were very clean and there was plenty of towels and hot water for baths. We just used the rooms for sleeping, since we were there for vacation, and they were very nice to come back to at night. This made our vacation very enjoyable.”

• Great location to beach and activities.
• In horrible condition.

“Our room was a smoking room, and we had requested non-smoking because I have asthma. They did the best they could to clean it, but after spending over $100 for it and since we were there for the triathlon, we knew we wouldn't be able to find another one close by for that night. We will never stay there again.”

• Kitchen in the room, proximity to the Boardwalk
• No hair dryer, older accommodations, overpriced

“It was an older facility, the price for the stay while trying to be competitive, its fair to say that ALL of the hotels in this area are overpriced for what they offer. Their inflated prices survive off the fact the Boardwalk is there, so they don't really worry to much about image or customer satisfaction.. at least that's my opinion and experience”

• The hotel is about a 3 minute walk away from the boardwalk and there are several places to eat located nearby.
• The complimentary breakfast only consisted of coffee and plastic wrapped danishes.

“Overall my family's stay at the Econo Lodge was pleasant. It was affordable clean and the staff was friendly. If you're looking for fancy, this is not the place for you. If you're looking for a reasonable place to stay so that you can spend more money on your family and entertainment, this is the place for you!”
