• Rooms were very comfortable and clean.
• No restaurant and continental breakfast was very plain.

• Still new; kitchenettes, hob, closets, off el Camino.
• Name of hotel not visible driving the street after dark.

“This hotel is newly built but full-service Marriott suites at a fair price. The location is at the Sunnyvale-mountain view border, just off el Camino, so even with a Sunnyvale address it's nearer Palo alto than downtown san Jose.”

• Clean room, free internet in lobby area and free cont. breakfast.
• Hotel was in Sunnyvale outside of requested area of Palo Alto -Mountain View.

“Room was clean with small kitchen sort of a smaller version one might find at home. Marriott seems to excel in the category of actual non smoking rooms. This is a plus for people sensitive to the odor of cigarette smoke.”

• Fairly new hotel. Bed and couch were very comfortable. Room had a small kitchen area.

“I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. In fact, I prefer it to many 3 diamond places I have stayed at. It is underrated at 2 diamonds.”

• Great location, service from staff, room amenities.
• Continental breakfast was limited, prepackaged, not fresh.

“In a great location with easy and close freeway access. The Town Place Suites are quite new and well appointed with marble counter tops, comfortable chairs, glasses rather than plastic cups, and dishwasher. Unlike many suite hotels, the housekeeping staff services the room every day with clean towels. Underground parking is also nice.”

• Large room with lots of light, kitchenette, dining/living area. Very good deal.
• The front desk staff did not seem to know much about the checking out process.

“Large room with kitchenette, fridge, dinnerware. Nice living/dining room area. Free internet access in room! Quiet area opposite to shopping center. Just off El Camino Real, easy access to major roads.”

“Everything was excellent except for the heating/AC unit which was allegedly controlled by the thermostat--it wasn't. I couldn't find any way to shut the thing off. Next time I'll just unplug it. Overall, I was very impressed with the hotel. It was rated at 2 stars. The hotels that I had been staying at must have been 0.5 stars.”

“I was very pleased with this Hotel. It is brand new, had free internet, and had convenient access to all the freeways (its just off the 85). For the price I paid I was very satisfied.”
