  • The pool was nice and there was ample parking.
  • Broken equipment in fitness room, keys did not work, zero noise control and unhelpful staff.

“We were expecting our stay to be comparable to the hotel, but felt it was similar to the Ramada. Most of the rooms have exterior hallways, so there is a lot of noise! (Including construction in the morning and people partying in the parking lot at night). The fitness room had only 4 pieces of equipment, one of which was broken for our entire week stay, despite several guests mentioning it to the staff. There were also no towels in the fitness room. Our room keys stopped working mid-stay, which was an easy enough fix, but still a hassle. Housekeeping did not come two out of the 6 days we were there. Unbelievable. When we mentioned these things to the front desk, they simply did not care. We normally stay at the Hilton in Concord, which is great.”

  • I cannot think of anything good about my stay at this hotel.
  • This hotel was not well kept and was not enjoyable.

“I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff did not provide accurate information and the room was not clean. When we requested that someone fix our broken toilet, it took forever for someone to respond. This also happened when we requested toilet paper, which the maid did not re supply.”

  • Room facing parking lot, felt like a Motel, felt unsafe.

“The hotel was clean but the fact that the rooms overlooked the hotel parking lot gave it that cheap motel feel. There was constant car noise from the parking lot making hard to get rest.”

  • Outside doors, poor furnishing, low quality property.

“This is not a 3 star hotel. The reason I don't go down below 3 stars is because I don't ever want to have to stay in a place like this. The rooms were rundown and the bathroom was basically in the room. Rooms are accessed through doors in open air spaces or right in the parking lot, my door was by a large fan or generator that made noise all day. Terrible experience that I hope never to repeat.”

  • The restaurant staff and food was great.
  • Very dirty, not much near, a lot of people just hanging around, very unattractive area.

“When going to our room, I knew it was going to be bad; there is no way this was a 3 star hotel, the first area we were put in looked more like pay by the hour. It was very unattractive outside, and looked very unsafe, with a lot of people that seemed to be just hanging around. the curtains were very dirty, the room had an awful smell, and the bathroom ceiling looked like it was going to fall in soon. There was no way I would sleep in that room. I called the front desk and they put us in an "upgraded" room in another building, which had an indoor entry area, which was a lot safer, and a little nicer. Still not a 3 star. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant had a great breakfast buffet with great help. Would not stay here or recommend.”

  • The evening front desk gentlemen rarely made eye contact with me. Needs PR Touch.

“Not a good hotel, not a 3 star either. This hotel is on the lines of a motel 6. Wouldnt go back again. No shuttle service, vending machines did not work, heat in room did not work. Rooms dingy and cold; showers ran cold/warm water not hot. The location works, but the hotel gets a thumb down.”

“It's Ok. I asked for a 3star and it is in no way an upscale hotel. We recently stayed at the Waknut Creek Marriott which is also listed as a three star hotel. There is no comparison.”

  • Odor in room and room too close to elevator.

“The hotel met my needs and was adequate; however my room was too close to the elevator, which made it difficult to sleep. There was an order in the room that wasn't pleasant. The parking lines are very close and made it difficult for a full size car to park and open doors to get in and out of.”

  • Easy access off the 680 highway.
  • 3rd time here and internet never works. Same reason given by management, problem never addressed.

“The hotel is fine for leisure but substandard for business travelers. I've stayed at this hotel numerous times and had the same problems repeatedly. The in room internet never works across multiple rooms, forget my wakeup calls, and I've found some interesting surprises in the room that housekeeping didn't. The staff is friendly but don't execute service as per the guests needs. Stay in the walnut creek holiday inn much better experience there for business travelers!”

  • Convenient transportation and very friendly people.
  • The hotel had rooms like a motel 6. Not a 3 star by far. Some rooms were so worn out and smelled.

“The first room I got was at a section of the older part of the bldg. It was worse than a motel 6. Chipping paint and cracks, rugs with tears, smelled bad. I was moved to another room which was a little better but it was still not more than a 1 star in the room but a 2 star with the newer lobby built and the restaurant & free shuttle service. I really did enjoy the friendliness of the staff and willingness to help me in whatever I needed. I would return only if they did some major remodeling in the rooms!”

  • It's a motel, not a hotel, certainly not close to three star.

“I'm outraged that they are billing themselves as a three star hotel. It's a motel, on the freeway, less than half a mile under the end of runways 19L&R at the Concord airport. Very low quality rooms, Motel 6 would be better. I was robbed.”

  • I would not stay in this hotel again so this does not apply.
  • Location was difficult because of the way the freeways interchange. Would not stay in concord area again. Prefer walnut creek.

“The staff was so nice to us. We stayed in a handicap room that had no refrigerator. On our request, they had one delivered right away. I complained that I found a bug and a spider in our bed. They apologized and gave us free breakfast.”

  • The lobby was nice. Decent service.
  • The room was very poor. A 2 start rating is a stretch.

“The room is a joke (being rated a 3 star). The cinder block walls made me feel like I was in prison. The bed was as hard as rock. Should be rated a 1.5 star. Lobby shows well and seeing that as their selling point (including all online pictures) I'd say this was close to deception. I travel weekly will again not risk a good night's sleep just to save a few bucks.”

  • Very old hotel, peeling plaster in bathroom, rooms w/doors open to the outside.

“This is an old style hotel with the rooms on the outside of the hotel along a solid wooden walkway. The windows were not well insulated, so when people walked along the walkway, I could hear every footstep. The rooms were fairly nice, but the shower ceiling had large bulges in the plaster from water damage. The front desk staff was very nice, and even called my room to make sure everything was okay. In my opinion this is a definite 2 star hotel. I do not usually go below a 3 star. I would stay there again as my "backup hotel" if I could not get any other 3 star hotel, but it would not be my first choice.”

  • The hotel was clean, and the free Internet was a plus.
  • The hotel was so noisy that it made it difficult to sleep.

“The hotel staff was friendly, and the hotel was clean. This is an older hotel and it shows. The beds are very hard, the walls seem paper-thin, and you can see light coming in around the entry door. The freeway, airport & hotel noise was so loud that it was almost unbearable. In my book, this is not a 3-star hotel.”

  • If this was a 3 star I would never want to stay at a 2 star. Rooms open to outside/parking lot.

  • Size of beds.

“We were greeted very amicably; the room was a nice size. Except the beds were too small. The bathroom was excellent for my husbands needs, when we were moved to a regular queen size beds room, we were very happy with the room, and my husband took a shower in our old room before we were moved. ”
