• Repeated fire alarm problem in hallway.

“The hotel room smelled terrible. The room was tiny. The kitchen was handy. The TV was terrible and no cable or movies. Their was vomit in the hallway and the fire alarm went off every one of the 5 days. The fire alarm went off at 5 in the morning. The hotel was really bad.”

• The rooms are dirty, carpet, chair, rug, linen.

“We have stayed many times at this hotel, same room. The room needs cleaning, rug, bathroom has allot of mold, the bed spreads always seem to be dirty. I told them to give me new linen as soon as I get there and tell them about the bathroom, the tub was not very clean looking. If you tell them, they will clean up no problem. This stay someone pulled the fire alarm at 3 in the morning and we could not get hold of the front desk and it went off for 2 hours.”

• It is convenient for shopping yet, normally very quiet.
• Fire alarm at 4 AM for no obvious reason and no explanation.

• Friendly front desk.
• Bathtub was clogged (wad of hair), fridge and toaster did not work. Maid does not even vacuum or bring towels within six days!

“Very disappointing. All similar hotels around offer breakfast, a pool, hot tub, none at this facility. Fitness room at another Extended Stay can be used, but all it has is one bike, one stepper, one treadmill; no weights or machines. No service at all with a six nights' stay, not even vacuum or a fresh set of towels. Bathtub was severely clogged with someone else's hair. Funny that the maid did not notice that when she cleaned the tub. Fridge did not work and had to be exchanged. Toasted did not work. Really bad place.”

• Location to airport was good.
• Didn't know it was more like a rental unit, not a hotel.

“Bare bones apartment type. Had refrigerator, oven, microwave, dishes, pots & Pans, beds & TV. I wouldn't consider this a "hotel". Nothing extra provided. No beds made, no cleaning except for every 5 days, no shampoo, Kleenex, no restaurant.”

• Convenient location, clean, friendly staff.
• Can't turn left into there, need to better directions; e.g. turn right immediately after the freeway off ramp.

“Homestead rooms aren't as big as Extended Stay, but plenty adequate for a couple. Asked for no smoking on check in and actually got one on a Friday night. Clean, quiet, semi slow WiFi, decent TV. Bed was comfortable enough, better than some more expensive places. Guest laundry and vending machines available. A great place to stay if you're looking for a non-sleazy, economical bed, kitchen, shower, and a door that locks. For more amenities, you'd want a different hotel.”

“The bed was broken/not comfortable. No extra pillows. No iron/iron board. Broken shelf in the room. I stayed at the same hotel for one additional night, and differences were highly notable. For example, bed was much more comfortable (no squeaking noise), extra pillows in the room, iron with iron-board was available. Overall, the room looked totally different than my previous two nights stay. This is not acceptable.”

• When checking out it felt like you were being thrown out.

“It's not nice when you are thrown out of a room like this family was at 11am. There wasn't someone there to check with the mother who ended up out on the street and then at the hospital. Check out is rude. I've traveled for decades and never have I seen such rudeness in those last two hotels in Kent and Tukwila.”

• Clean room, nice kitchen facilities.
• No complaints!

“Conveniently located near the airport and easy drive into Seattle. Very close (about 1 mile) to major shopping mall with all the amenities one could want. The mall is also a bus stop, so you can park your car and take the bus into downtown for $1.50! Bus service every 15 minutes and runs late.”

“Had to ask for soap (not in room) this facility is more for the person working out of town Monday-Thursday or Friday and still met our basic needs and lacked general appeal appearance-wise. In general I would rate it more along the 1-star or definitely not 2 star.”

• It was a little outdated.

“Hotel was a little dated but meet my needs. It had a small kitchen with a fridge. A little close to the freeway with a little noise. Not a good place if you are a light sleeper. Other than that it was a nice place to spend a week and the price was more than fair. Would stay there again.”

• That we finally got to go home and end a bad vacation.
• Bathroom smelled kitchen dirty staff lied.

“This hotel was trash. The bathroom had a very bad musty smell to it. The dishes where dirty in the kitchen. The bed sheets where not clean. Doors to the closest where broken so couldnt hang our clothing up. Found out the next day they canceled there stay that night. Hotel staff lied every time you talked to them and made excuses and put blame on everyone else but themselves. Room staff all quit the day we came to town. One staff member said they where quitting because the manager was a jerk and that he didnt allow them to clean the rooms correctly.”

• Sidewalks and rails need to be cleaned more offend. The charge for local calls, we had to pay $35.00 for local calls.

“I like the small kitchen area, when you are working all day and come in the 1st thing you want to do is get a cold drink and something to eat and a snack, having the kitchen is a great idea.”

• The first room we were given smelled horrible. Like smoke really bad.

“The room smelled horrible. Since it was the 2nd time we had problems there I went down and complained. The girl at the front desk was very nice and gave us a nicer and bigger room. We did not spend much time there. Not much to do in the area.”

• This hotel was filthy and disgusting.

“This hotel was filthy and disgusting. There was mold in the shower, and when we lifted up the bathmat to take a shower there was mold underneath the mat and dirt. We literally had to clean the bathtub before we took a shower. There was no hair dryer in the bathroom. And there were stains on the chair. The door wouldn't lock, we could only use the safety arm on the door to make sure it was lock. I've stay in all different star ratings, and I've never had an experience like this. If I could rate this hotel I would give it a 1/2 star - if event that.”

• The long term residents looked like crack heads.

“This is an extended stay hotel. I guess for many that cant rent houses or apartments due to credit, they can pay and have a kitchen and phone, etc. However as a traveling person who wants a nice place to sleep and keep his things when not at the hotel, there seemed to be quite a few untactful guests wandering around the hotel.”

• The outside looked nice.
• It lacked character and anything basic without being charged, i.e.: shampoo? Free Wi-Fi? More than 2 pillows?

“This hotel is great if you just need to crash for the night and don't want to actually enjoy your room. The door didn't lock completely. The shower curtain allowed water to run all over the floor. You had to pay $5 to access the internet. The bed had two pillows and was uncomfortable. Great for a business person traveling through. Not great for a romantic evening away.”

• Did not provide clean laundry and room service because the stay was less than one week.

“The customer service was great, and the staff was really supportive. I did not like one thing about the hotel that this hotel did not provide the clean laundry and room service to clean the rooms. Overall it was a great experience.”

• The front desk staff was pleasant and professional.
• No coffee was available anywhere, the room was not very clean, and bathroom outlet didn't work.

“The room is very cramped and there is little space to move around or to place luggage. If you planned on spending very little time in the room and wanted only sleeping quarters, it would suffice. Having a kitchen area is helpful for storing breakfast foods, etc. In my opinion, it's not a good arrangement for children or for a couple, but would be ideal for a single person traveling alone or on business.”

• Too close to a major highway and the room seemed a little bit seedy.

“I arrived at midnight, but the hotel reservationists stayed open to let me in. Good sign. Ample free parking. Hotel very close to 405 freeway with resulting amount of freeway noise (not excessive but more than I would have liked). The room was a bit cramped and it had an odor. Bed was adequate, and the kitchenette was a good touch. In this kind of hotel, the room is not cleaned and beds are not made automatically every day. You have to pay extra for that. This did not bother me much. Iron and ironing board was a useful touch.”

• Staff helpful and the location was perfect for getting to airport.
• The air conditioning didn't work well and the maintenance man was off for weekend.

“I liked this hotel because it was clean and close to the airport and the staff was accommodating. You must know that the rooms are not cleaned and the beds are not made up daily, but that was fine by us.”

“I was very disappointed with the staff when I checked in. I had to wait 15 minutes for the front desk clerk to arrive. Then I couldn't get a smoking room and they wouldn't give me the room I asked for. Then the front desk clerk got a little hostile and rude. I will not be staying with them again.”
