• The hotel's location, room and services exceeded my expectations. I will stay at Doubletree Hotel again on my next trip to Seattle and other locations.
• I was 100% satisfied.

• Hotel was very nice, rooms extremely clean & very comfortable! We love the real glass drinking glasses! Beautiful room, comfortable bed.
• Outside cigarette smoke upon entry of hotel.

• Upscale feel, quiet, well located for brining the family.
• The shower didn't drain properly, mentioned to staff, not fixed.

“The room was clean, well lit and nicely furnished. The hotel is located near shopping, eating and provides convenient access SeaTac airport. On the down side there was some unfixed damage to the room (bath door cracked, shower didn't drain properly). I asked to have the shower problem addressed, but it was not fixed during my stay. Hotel staff was friendly, though I didn't have much interaction with them.”

• Location was great for shopping back to school and close to the soccer tournament fields at starfire.
• I was not happy for the quality of the room.

“If your main stay is to get some major school shopping done, this hotel is great, you can walk to the mall so quickly and the soccer fields where only 5 minutes away and that was a great surprise, the hotel had a smell of smoke, we stayed on the top floor which was non-smoking, however even the sheets had the smell of smoke in them.”

• I liked the room being larger with two rooms.
• We had late arrival and the front door was locked and required assistance to get in.

• Amazing architecture with all rooms looking down into lobby.
• Couldn't stay longer.

“Excellent hotel. We stayed here because it's just out of Seattle and easy to get around. It is quiet, the rooms are spacious and the staff is friendly. Then, in the morning we make a short drive or taxi ride and we are downtown to explore. Really nice place.”

• We were impressed of the indoor pool and downstairs setting.
• We certainly did not care for the view which was a dirty roof. When arriving the front desk did not give us detail information regarding the facility.

“We had a pleasant stay with the family and relatives. There were a lot of noise downstairs and the front desk that we did not care for though. But overall we enjoyed it. For the price, we just expected it to be a little more high class.”

• Location, rental car company on site.
• Maid service was poor.

“Very nice. Advantage rental car on location. Great location with easy freeway access. Front desk staff excellent. Do not miss happy hour.”

• Facilities location staff is good parking free but not very convenient.
• Prices are moderate my price was high.

“The suite was very suitable. Staff were helpful, giving me free internet access. They accepted a package for me and gave it to me promptly when asked. They did not volunteer that the package had arrived.”

• Hotel was close to bus service for travel to downtown Seattle.

“We were met with dirty dishes sitting outside our door. The room had a view of nothing but the tar roof of the facility. There was a lot of noise at the bar in the lobby courtyard below our room which made it hard to relax. We would not return to this hotel. We were not allowed the complementary breakfast, either.”

• Great facility, nice well laid out room, good location.
• Staff was bungling, and had a blame culture; they really messed up with us.

“We are a flexible family and don't complain much. This management of the hotel really has some problems however. When we went to use the pool and hot tub they were cold and the maintenance man who was checking on it was grumbling that no one had been checking on it, and why hadn't he been told. They were fixed by the next day. Our electronic room keys failed on four occasions. They took our credit card imprint when we checked in for incidentals. Then when we rented a movie, it wouldn't work because it said we didn't have our credit card on file. Then I straighter it out with the manager and thought it was all ok. My wife and I went out for breakfast in the hotel the next morning and let the kids sleep in. We put it on the room charge. I stopped by the front desk to make sure all was well with the credit card being on file. The clerk (from Orlando) said that indeed it was all taken care of. Then we went shopping and let the kids watch TV. The waitress from the hotel went up to our room and tried to get money from our oldest son. He said we would be back but were out shopping. Then another waitress came and tried to get money from our 18 year old and implied he was lying and that we were in the bathroom hiding. He called us on your cell phone and I talked to her and told her to leave the kids alone, that this problem was on their end not ours. We cut our shopping trip short and returned to the motel. The front desk apologized and blamed the waitress. The waitress later apologized and blamed the front desk. All in all, the facilities were great, but there are some real management problems at this facility. Being in management myself, I am amazed at the culture at this facility. Hopefully things will change. It has the makings of a 4 star facility if things were run defiantly.”

• Air conditioner did not work in our first room. They put us in another room, quickly.

• The new decor is gorgeous.
• That we had to pay for wireless internet service. For the price of these hotel rooms, this should be included.

“Doubletree guest suites has done a nice job in taking care of us during our stay. They are courteous and very solicitous of our needs. Their people are helpful and even the food we had in the restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced.”

• Wonderful people at hotel. Forgot my razor and they gave me one along with a bottle opener.
• Nothing!

“Excellent location if you are heading to downtown Seattle, or a Seahawks game as we did:) It is right off of I-5 and oh so easy to find. The rooms are nice sized with a large sitting area, and a comfortable bedroom. The rooms all open up to the atrium which I bet could get a little load, but once the TV is on you hardly notice. We ordered room service. A good hamburger and fairly quick service. All in all it was a great experience and a pretty darn good deal!”

“Staff could have been friendlier. The room we had was directly across from the elevators. It was fine. Nice place but needs plants hanging from all those cool balconies.”
