• Location, great beds, great coffee, good shower heads, clean, and excellent bath/shower products (neutrogena)

“I discovered this hotel through Priceline, and have stayed multiple times. The beds are really great, the bath products are fantastic, and great for sensitive skin types. The shuttle service to and from the airport is prompt and friendly, and the concierge staff was very accommodating about arranging transportation from the ferry terminal in Seattle.”

“We love this Hotel, just wish it had an ice box to hold medicines that need to be kept cold(insulin), other than that, beds are wonderful, it's very clean and close to airport.”

• Free shuttle, hot tub, free cookies, nice restaurant, free lobby computer, comfortable bed, concierge, friendly staff, glass elevators, and balcony.
• Our room had a very noisy heater and two large pink spots on the carpet. $17.00 parking fee!

“This is a very large hotel with several wings. The best place to stay is in the tower part of the hotel because it is close to the lobby and offers great views.Every room has a balcony. This hotel has a nice lounge and restaurant. The staff was friendly and helpful.The hotel store was nice as were the free computers in the lobby.”

• It is close to the airport, and facilities are clean.
• Parking is expensive.

“This hotel is quite dated; not a usual Doubletree facility. It is close to the airport, and the rooms are spacious. I would prefer another, and I am not sure if 3 star level should apply.”

• Not much, to be honest I can't think of any reaon I would go back.
• The room was filthy!

“I would never stay again. Dirty, I have not ever stayed in a 3 star that was like this. The parking was a pain you had to have cards for coming and cards for going. the elevator only went part of the way then you had to get off and catch a different one. Then walk forever to get to your room. We had to park nowhere near our room. Did I mention dirty.”

• Proximity to the airport and shuttle service.
• Outlying buildings are inconvenient if you are not in the main tower.

“Great location to SeaTac and great shuttle service, comfortable rooms, nice staff. Would definitely stay there again. Front desk staff offered a stay in the main tower for a $10 upgrade fee which I was happy to take, staying in the other buildings is very inconvenient.”

• Rooms large, furnishings and linens were of superior quality.
• Nothing, stayed greatly. It exceeded our expectations.

“The hotel was a real bargain! The areas around the rooms and the pool were extremely well landscaped with a variety of local trees and plants. The concierge was very helpful. We stayed at the hotel for one night before our cruise and one night after. The concierge arranged transportation to the cruise ship for $11 per person which was less than half of what we found through the cruise ship, taxis, or online shuttle services.”

• Very courteous staff and hospitable. The cookies were an excellent welcome gesture!
• The Lounge was rather busy with so many conferences going on. We were looking for the quiet side of it which was hard to come by!

“Its an excellent facility conveniently located near the airport. It was very accessible following our errands to downtown Seattle. The breakfast was fantastic. The staff were very professional and their presence always felt when we needed assistance.”

• The size of the room, the landscaping around the hotel and the service.
• You have to pay for Internet service in your room.

“The Double tree at Seattle is a lovely hotel right smack dab across from the Airport. But you're not giving anything up for the convenience. It's very large, spacious, well laid out and the landscaping is so nice in between the various wings, you feel almost like you're in some natural setting (forest).”

• Very large spread-out hotel, long walk to my room.

“The shower in my room did not work. I discovered this too late to complain and get a new room. I had to wash at the sink in order to rush and catch my flight. When I complained upon check-out the clerk did comp my room service charge. I got the impression he thought I simply couldn't work the shower, not that it was broken. That left me with a bad overall impression and a bad stay.”

• It was a great place to stay while in this area. Loved the large room and big screen TV. Beds were comfy.

• the pool and the how clean the hotel was
• I left the hotel and they let someone else check in under my name

“For the most part i very much enjoyed my stay at this hotel but then i was haveing issuse with someone their and I was to check in again but I did not. But the hotel took it upon them self's to let someone who i had let them stay in my room for a night check in a rrom that was in my name and add them self's to my reservation's without me anywhere around i had checked out of the room at checkout time so beweare of this hotel”

• The woman at the front desk was excellent
• hard to park and find my room

“This hotel was clean had great beds and an excellent staff. The woman at the front desk offered to put me in a single close to the lobby since I was a woman travelling alone. The security guard on site helped me find my room after I had parked on the wrong side of the hotel.”

• They dont tell you what your paying for upfront and nickel/dime you to death.

“The hotel is very visually appealing. But like I said before they charge for literally every little thing. If you are ok with paying 20 a day for your car to sit and your room fee and your internet then this is for you. If your looking for just a nice place to stay that you can pay with your puter, relax and chill then this is not it!”

• Free shuttle to airport terminal.
• Extraordinarily long walk to my room.

“Perfect location and services for my purpose which was connecting to an early morning flight to Alaska. The shuttle was prompt and free; only downside was they sent me to the back lot to find my room which was nearly at least a quarter mile from the lobby! I had to add 5 minutes to my wake up time just to reach the lobby in time for the shuttle.”

• Bedding cover and pillows contained a feather product - allergic to feathers.

“Hotel convenient to airport. Parking is $16 per day for guests. Rooms were clean. Bathroom need some tile cleaning and bathroom floor tile needs a deep cleaning (area in front of sink worn or just dirty). Pillows and bedding covers contained a feather product. If you are allergic to feathers do not stay here!”

• Free round-the-clock airport shuttle every 20 minutes.
• Over 850 spread out rooms, it was a 10 min walk from the lobby to my room.

“The hotel is very attractive and has a beautiful lobby w/ giftshop, coffee shop, computers and resturant. Room service until 12am was available and they had a nice pool although i did not swim. The hotel is divided into pods, there are 8 pods with 2 levels and the main pod has a hotel tower with many floors. the pods are layed out with skywalks connecting each. To get to my room i had to walk inside for like 10 minutes, which was slightly annoying because i had a rolling suitcase. Other than that the room was very clean, nice linens and bed, and hot shower.”

• The lobby, the room, the sitting areas, the staff was excellent!
• Would like to have Wi-Fi in the room.

“I am always very happy when I get the Doubletree at Seatac when using Priceline. It is my favorite place to stay. Always friendly staff, helpful as well. Rooms always clean and nicely appointed. And love those chocolate chip cookies they give you when checking in.”

“Overall we were happy with this hotel. They gave us a free upgrade to a room with two beds so the kids didn't have to sleep on the floor. Our room was very private with a balcony overlooking a small lake. The pool and hot tub area were also nice. Concierge was helpful in suggesting nearby restaraunts and printing directions for some stops we had to make.”

• They were able to get us into a room with two queen beds instead of one with just one king to better accommodate our stay with our two small children.
• Parking was an additional $16 for the one night we stayed. Also no refrigerator or microwave in the room. Room was a little dirty for a 3 star.

“Overall our stay was nice. The two staff members I delt with were very polite and professional. I was surprised that parking was not complimentary though. The pool and hot tub were great for our two small children, and the location was convenient for us as it was a very short drive away from downtown Seattle. The room was clean for the most part and in all the important ways, there was just a little build-up in corners and around doors and such. There was no refrigerator or microwave in the room though, which was dissapointing for a 3-star and was inconvenient as our small children had milk and other drinks we needed to keep cold.”

• Reasonably priced in Priceline, quite comfortable, courteous staff, and delicious cookies.
• No parking for free, shower head in room did not work well, the ground area towards function rooms & elevator had a funny smell.

• only king bed was available, and wanted two beds, but staff brought roll-away; expensive parking; long trek to room

“This is a good airport hotel -- nothing fancy, but comfortable. The pool looks nice, but I didn't get the chance to try it. Hotel has a strange, 60s/70s era layout, which makes the property more interesting yet can be inconvenient as it may require you to traverse multiple walkways and elevators to find your way to your room. Bring breadcrumbs to mark your path.”

• Location close to the airport.
• Layout is very spread out - long walk to the room with very tired kids.

“We arrived at 11pm and the line to check in was literally out the front door onto the steps. We were traveling with young kids who were 3 times zones ahead so it was 2 am to them. The front desk gave us a room that was as far as possible from the lobby -- I doubt it was the same zipcode. When I asked if we could have something a little closer, the clerk said Oh, absolutely. How nice I think but then he says there will be an additional charge for the
same exact
room if we don't want to walk out to the other one. I was so offended that we just picked up our kids and walked.”

“Overall this a very good hotel. The staff is friendly and well trained, being very close to Sea Tac is great and 13 Coins, a very nice 24 hour restaurant is within walking distance. But $16 a day for parking and $12.95 a day for in room wired Internet is too high.”
