• The breakfast buffet.
• The layout of the breakfast buffet made it difficult to get to food and there was not enough seating.

“I enjoyed staying at this hotel. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet and the shuttle to the West gate mall. The staff was great. The room was very spacious and comfortable.”

“Staff immediately helps you upon arrival. The buffet was excellent and the rooms had good space. Staff was very accommodating in holding our luggage on the return leg of our trip for the afternoon.”

• The complimentary breakfast was varied and substantial.
• The location is at the edge of the town center and there is practically nothing around the neighborhood.

“I love the spacious room, with two queen beds and a sofa bed, if there is a third person. A lovely touch is the kitchenette counter with a coffee maker, microwave oven, a mini fridge and a sink. We bought prepared food from Pike Place market and use the microwave to heat up for dinner as some days we were too tired to go out. The complimentary internet in the lobby was also very handy. They have a cocktail hour in the restaurant where complimentary snacks, like fried spring rolls and fried Wantan and drinks like wine, beer and soda were served. That was our dinner! Throughout the day, complimentary tea and coffee can be found in the lobby. Overall, I would definitely recommend to friends and will return again.”

• Spacious rooms, good quality beds and linens, good prices!
• Nothing. Everything was fantastic.

“This hotel totally felt like a 4 star or more. The service at the front desk was great, the room was immaculate and huge, way bigger than we expected. And it wasn't noisy at all. And we were there on new years eve, when it should have been noisy. I will definitely stay there again and would recommend it to friends and family.”

• I really liked the location, convenient to downtown. Also great continental breakfast.
• $20.00 parking per day.

• New and plenty of room, great hot breakfast.
• Noisy from freeway and a bit of a walk to downtown market, etc.

“New, very clean, great and generous free hot breakfast but a bit of a walk to get to downtown market (they may have an hourly shuttle, but we walked it.) also, because the hotel is literally only feet from the freeway, you sort of hear that zooming traffic all night long but overall, very nice.”

• The desk staff was very friendly, informative, accommodating.
• Location was not the most convenient.

“The hotel was clean, with friendly, helpful staff. The self-serve breakfast was awesome, a pleasant surprise. We were expecting cold rolls and coffee, not hot waffles with eggs, bacon and sausage. We left the car at the hotel and managed to get around the core of Seattle easily with a combination of walking and the free zone buses.”

• It was not downtown location.

“Very clean good customer service we wanted downtown location this was not downtown. Three woman went to Seattle and I did not feel real safe walking from hotel to downtown and back. When I go on vacation I like to walk.”

• Office area for crib and still private for Mom and Dad.
• The parking situation was a pain.

“I am absolutely in love with this hotel. They let us check in early (11:00am!) because they had rooms available, which was a life-saver with a traveling baby. The office area allowed us to set up the crib and still have a private sleeping area for the baby. The staff was super friendly and efficient. The breakfast was great. The room was super clean and the hotel location is perfect. They only thing that was disappointing was the parking situation. You basically have to use their 20$ valet parking.”

• The space that was given as well as the generous supply of breakfast.
• For some reason the room was not cleaned very entirely.

“This hotel offers more than one will expect. The room is spacious and the views were reasonable. The most impressive components are its swimming pool and Jacuzzi that's open early and closed late. It's breakfast buffet is generous with continuous supply of food from pastries to sausage, bacon and egg, etc. Its complimentary access of the 24hr fitness center across the street is a definite bonus as well.”

• It was clean and the staff was very friendly. The hotel was more than a 2.5 star and better than the "3" star I just stayed in.
• The valet parking was extra but actually was nice to have. The neighborhood is a little iffy. Just one block away I found it to be a little scary.

“I love the location and the room was like having my own little studio right near the heart of Seattle. The staff was wonderful and the room and view was beautiful. You don't want to walk around much at night there but during the day it is the place to be.”

• Valet parking at $20 a day.

“This is a great hotel. I would rate it 3 star. They serve a great full hot breakfast buffet. The layout of the suite is attractive and very functional. The front desk people were extremely friendly and helpful. The valet parking at $20 was the only negative but since we were there on the weekend it was easy to find street parking instead.”

• The staff was completely awesome.
• There were a lot of homeless people in Seattle not just around this hotel in particular.

“The Springhill Marriott has all the amenities. Including the Wall Street Journal. The only things about the hotel I didn't like were the proximity of the Greyhound Bus depot and one of the bed covers on our beds had stains on it.”

• Located a short walk across I-5 are numerous neighborhood restaurants and shops.
• $20 for parking is too much.

“This property exceeded my expectations in practically every regard. I especially enjoyed the short walk to the neighborhood with many local restaurants and watering holes.”

• Free shuttle service to and from three areas downtown.
• Valet parking in garage next to hotel made it difficult to access car if something needed. It was also very expensive.

“The hotel rooms and common areas attractive but the location of the hotel made it very difficult to find. It was also not as convenient to downtown as we had wanted. The hotel is large and had many people staying so the included breakfast was chaotic. While there were many choices the room set-up made the line too long and slow to enjoy the meal. The seating was also very limited.”

• Very poor linen towels especially & sheets.

• The location was close to downtown but not so close that the noise from downtown effected our stay.
• There is only valet parking available (extra $20+ a night).

“Overall it was a pleasant stay. The view wasn't awesome but what can you expect when you don't have control over that. The line for breakfast was extreme and the dining room was so full that we had to take our breakfast to a conference room round the corner that had so much AC that the food was cold when we got there. But the staff was attentive and did their best. The only shocker for this star level was that we pulled out an extra blanket.”

• The hotel offered a lot of extra benefits that many other hotels are getting rid of these days.
• The equipment in the fitness room was a little shoddy.

• Air conditioning was relentless; could not sit comfortably at the desk.
