• Gas fireplace in room, quiet, and good restaurants nearby.
• Elevators: one slow, other requires walking outside.

“Awesome. Opened the door to find a glowing gas fireplace, which was all we needed for heat. Plenty of space. Free wireless internet access. Bed wasn't the greatest for comfort, but wasn't too bad either. Bathroom was spacious, good shower head, good toiletries. Mostly, it was super quiet. Only heard people if they were in the hallways talking. Oh, okay, and a few elephants overhead one night out of the 7. Continental breakfast was not spectacular, but adequate and I loved being able to get coffee on demand at the lobby station.”

• Great breakfast room on third floor overlooking Lake Union.

“Stayed here 5 times on our recent tour of the Pacific Northwest. First room was the best fireplace and partial view of lake. Last had damaged coat hook in bathroom and bed was off the foundation. All rooms were comfortable and clean. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. The shuttle service was great. They even have washer dryer on each floor. Breakfast was super. Loved the Lake Union Silver Cloud Hotel.”

• The shuttle service was very convenient. And the waterfront location was great! Walking distance to good restaurants.
• Liked everything!

• Free parking, continental breakfast, fireplace in room, large rooms.
• Not enough elevators.

“We were trying to stay near Lake Union for a wedding. The hotel was close to the venue and was very convenient. Rooms were spacious and relaxing. I especially enjoyed that one of our rooms had a view of the lake and a fireplace. The hotel itself was small enough to feel cozy and relaxing. I liked the balcony/third floor lounge area with patio. Great for reading and enjoying a cup of coffee.”

• The location was perfect for us. It was a nice and comfortable space. No charge for parking!

“The hotel was in a great location across from Lake Union. Access was easy. The room was very nice and clean. We didn't use the pool or workout room but they looked great and next time we'll come prepared to use them. The staff was nice. A basic breakfast was included which helped us have a great start to the day.”

• Need full-size coffeemakers in room.

“The room itself is quite charming, very nicely laid out with a gas fireplace, microwave, wet bar, and small refrigerator. Pretty much all rooms have some view, owing to the hotel's odd shape. Like other Silver Cloud Inns, the management needs to put a bit more money into higher-quality bed and bath linens; the ones they're using are too cheap for this grade of hotel.”

• Difficulty in carrying luggage from garage.

“Very nice place to stay in Seattle, close to downtown and plenty of nice places on Lake Union Marina. Very nice sightseeing in the morning and during the night.”

• It was quiet and the staff was friendly and incredibly personable.
• It can be a bit difficult to find because they have no external sign age to indicate that you are approaching. I completely drove by it the first time.

“Quiet, friendly and good for the business traveler. The rate was reasonable for the location especially compared to other hotels that were close by. Had difficulty finding the location.”

• The hotel was attractive and clean, with a lovely 3rd floor lobby or solarium.
• While the breakfast included the option of freshly made waffles, there were no hot eggs available.

“I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable setting with a moderate price. The hotel was clean and attractive with extremely comfortable beds and pillows. Our room included a microwave and small refrigerator. Parking was included, and the hotel offered a complimentary shuttle downtown, so there was no need to stay in an expensive downtown hotel with additional parking costs. Continental breakfast also included, served in a beautiful 3rd floor lobby area with a view of Lake Union. Fresh coffee always available. I would strongly recommend this hotel.”

“We were totaly pleased with our choice of hotel. The Lobby was elegant, there was 24hr free coffee and tea, the rooms with a view well worth the extra money, and an outstanding free breakfast. We were a family of six and were not charged any extra. We”

“The hotel was awesome. The decor was great and the front desk people were very knowledgeable and accommodating. The shuttle was very easy to use and took us to our location and when we called for pick up were there within 20 minutes. I would love to stay there again. Great stay!”
