• The room was clean and spacious.
• The heater/air conditioner did not work.

“The hotel had no swimming pool or whirlpool. This was really a disappointment. The room was really stuffy as the hvac unit did not work and was not fixed when we were there. The room was attractive, but did not face the bay.”

“The hotel is very clean and the valet parking is convenient. I enjoyed the bar on the second floor but did not stay for dinner. The room is very nice and clean. Has a very good location. I recommend this hotel.”

• Location and price.
• Late night shift person, rude, snappy and unfriendly.

“Great hotel, everything you'd expect from 3.5 - 4 star hotel. Late night attendant at the front desk was the only person that was rude and unfriendly. She acted as she was too busy to talk to people staying at the hotel. Other than this, I have nothing but good things to say about the hotel.”

“It was a very comfortable and clean with easy access to downtown attractions. The waterfront attractions were further, but still accessible by foot. The concierge was very helpful in providing information and pointing us in the right direction.”

• Able to be kept very cold when needed, high output on-foot traveler needs cold air.

“Where there's a compelling convention, Crowne Plaza is the place to crash after 16+ hours of nonstop foot travel! Thanks to the modified AC system, I can keep the air unlimitedly cold as needed, and the staff was very helpful in all my needs while I was there. And being cheap in terms of food, there's a subway just outside the doors, and at least ten other eateries within a five block radius of the hotel! This marks the second time I've stayed with them, and I hope to do so again!”

• The parking did not accomidate our full size truck and had to park elsewhere.

• The basket of chocolate chip cookies arrived as a plate of cold oatmeal cookies. It was sad!

“This hotel is very simply, yet very reliable and without problems. The only complaint was that I was really wanting some warm chocolate chip cookies from room service but when they arrived all they were were oatmeal raisin on a cold plate. I didn't eat them, but didn't complain. Otherwise, I've stayed at that hotel twice and couldn't be happier! Parking is expensive!”

“I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It was clean and well appointed and looked recently renovated. Parking was valet only, I would have preferred to park my own car, and was expensive but on a par with the rest of the city.”

“I arrived by car and was surprised to find that there was only a small curb area for check in/ unloading. There was a $35 valet charge for parking my car when I wanted to park it myself, and one attendant took about 15minutes just to take the car and turn it around below grounds and bring it back up. I believe he didn't know how to drive a stick shift; when he got out to turn the car over it lurched and stalled obviously he had it in gear but thankfully had the barke on! There was no free coffe in the room or any type of continental breakfast. Everything was an extra charge. Truly I think what I got for my money was not worth it.”

• The bed's matress was not good i woke up with a sore back.

“This hotel was very pretty and clean overall with an aura of luxury but not intimidating. I have stayed here twice and hope to again. Two negative points valet parking is very expensive and we didn't have hot water in the morning.”

• Walk back to the hotel is up hill.

“Stayed here for a week. The hotel has a good location and nice staff. Be prepared for a walk up hill on the way back. Room had an awsome view. Food was surprisingly good. We were half way checked in before we arrived at the registration desk. The concierge even booked us a nice trip to Canada.”

• It is within walking distance to all downtown seattle attractions.
• No public parking.

“Crown Plaza is well located in the middle of Downtown Seattle. Bring your walking shoes and visit all the attractions that Seattle has to offer. If you can't walk, the bus system is one of the best transit systems I've seen in a major city, easy access and easy to figure out the routes.”

• Only one working elevator - had to walk down 16 flights with luggage after waiting 45 min for elevator.

“Would have been better if elevators worked - our stay was also hampered by breakdown of monorail - spent 3 hours in a hot, stuffy train car waiting to be rescued by fire department.”

“I would stay there again in a heartbeat. It was so nice to check in and have cookies and ice tea in the lobby. Started our vacation on the right foot. The location was convenient with a short walk to all the activities we wanted to do. Rooms were lovely and spacious. It was very clean.”

• Our room was over looking I-5, which was very noisy we, especially at 11 at night when there was an accident right out our window.

“Loved everything about hotel from the location to the rooms and staff. There was 1 huge problem that left a very, very bad taste in our mouths: On day of checkout no elevators worked. We had to carry loads of bags and our 2 kids (ages 5 and 3) down 28 flights of stairs to leave the hotel. That was unacceptable. I also read they have had elevator problems since June. The hotel needs to rectify this. Everything else about the hotel was great.”

• The concierge was extremely unprofessional. When asked for a recommended place for eating she was too busy writing email to actually answer.

• Only 1 elevator was working.

“Overall, great hotel. During our stay, 3 of the 4 elevators were not working and the one was so overloaded that many people were walking the stairs from as high as 35 stories up. We were on the 9th floor and the water heater must have been in the basement. It took forever to get hot water. Great big LCD flat screen TV. Nice.”

• Concierge very helpful also valets parking convenient and quick.
• $30 for parking one night is too much. Even in Downtown. $20 would be more appropriate.

“Very clean, classy rooms. The kind of hotel it would be nice to stay in for a business trip. For a family with young kids, it lacked some appeal however. Windows to look out from the top floor would have been great! Nice experience overall, though. Good value and great location within walking distance to monorail and waterfront/Pike Street.”

• Staff was accommodating, liked white linens.
• Elevators did not work properly.

“Hotel had a masculine feel. I felt it was designed for male business travelers, although I noticed that this hotel had an abundance of leisure, tour travelers. Hotel was adequate, comfortable. Decor was understated, slightly dated - nothing outstanding. Location was great. It was close to my office and close to the attractions. I've stayed in some outstanding hotels lately, so when I arrived I immediately thought I had downgraded by staying here. My first room smelled terribly of smoke and I requested a change, which they happily provided.”

• Horrible customer service. The alabasters didn't work. And I got hung up on four times by front desk.

“Bad customer service. Elevators did not work, I had to take the stairs, and AC wasn't working. If they are doing remodeling they shouldn't fully book hotel. I had to call hotel four times because the front desk staff kept hanging up on me.”

• The staff was very friendly clean rooms, pillows are great.
• Beds are two small, also air condition not that great when it's hot outside.
