  • No coffee maker in the room, however, we did find that they had coffee available in the lobby when we left.

“Great location, close to most Downtown attractions. Friendly, professional staff. Apparently wonderful food (I never dined there) Parking a little difficult and expensive. Room was very well appointed and was spotless. However, it was also tiny and was surrounded by far taller buildings. The restaurant had a great menu, but I opted for smaller restaurants at the waterfront. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!”

  • The restaurant was wonderful.
  • There is no swimming pool or gym.

“Quaint, older hotel in excellent Downtown Seattle location. Parking is an $30 per night. Rooms were small but fairly well appointed, the biggest disappointment aside from a tiny bathroom was that it did not come with an in room coffee maker which forces one to order a pot from room service each morning. The hotel does not have a pool or workout facility, but for a $10 pass you may use a gym down the street. It is pet friendly to smaller dogs. The staff was efficient but gracious. The restaurant however was wonderful.”

“Poor Customer Service, Nowhere near a 4-Star hotel.1. Room not ready upon our arrival. 2. No coffee makers (unless you specifically ask and this is not posted anywhere in the room), no phonebooks. 3. Valet person was a young gentleman with an attitude. 4. Morning room-service breakfast came without butter or jam for our toast. Only positive was the hotel was situated in a good location and the room itself was clean, modern, and comfortable.”

“Fabulous romantic setting in the lobby complimented by the friendly atmosphere created by the wine tasting from 5-6. We met a wonderful couple from Spokane and another couple from Vancouver Canada sitting relaxing in the lobby in front of the fireplace, with a wonderful Walla Walla Merlot. Never have I ever experienced this type of setting and comfort at a hotel. Great Idea. I probably would have never met these people otherwise. And the decor in the rooms, although the rooms were very small they were very nicely decorated. It reminded me of a cruise ship, with far better decor.”

“Small lobby and room felt a bit cramped. The wine tasting in the lobby was nice. Smelled a little smoking especially when the housekeeping staff was cleaning adjacent rooms. I suspect they were smoking in the rooms. Most of the staff was friendly. Decor was nice. Had a difficult time getting a taxi - no taxi stand.”

Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[8] • Location:[10]

  • The location was excellent.
  • Motel 6 has better TVs. We were put by the fire escape which made the room very small.

“We were shoved back into a corner of the hotel by the staircase which shrunk the room considerably. Even though the hotel only offered King and Queen suites we ended up with a double bed and because of the room the TV was placed very far from the bed. The TV reception was horrible mostly black and white picture. We asked about the room and they said they were booked, which was a bold faced lie.”

  • They only had valet parking and it was $30 a day, too expensive.

“I think part of the information on a hotel should relate to whether they use wool or cotton, linen for bedding pillows etc. It is difficult if you have an allergy and you can't limit this on your choices. This hotel had down and wool, not good for my husband and I due to allergies. Only Valet parking at $30 a day expensive (also not listed on choices when selecting hotels). Everything else was great.”

“Super friendly and helpful staff at the hotel and at Tulia's. Great location in the middle of Downtown within walking distance to Pike Place Market, Seattle Art Museum and Capitol Hill. Just remember, there are hills in Seattle and it's a workout to walk everywhere! Stayed in a queen room which was very small. Not sure how the king rooms are in size. But a good place to stay as a central point in visiting Seattle.”

  • Long wait for valet which is an additional $30 per night, very small room, no real hotel lobby.

“When we arrived we waited 15 minutes for a valet to acknowledge us. The hotel lobby was nice, but about the size of a typical hotel room. Our room was tiny even though they gave us a "complimentary upgrade"; it was also ground level with a view of a dirty alley. Simply not a four star hotel.”

  • Bad room assignment.

“The room was nice and clean, but the view was awful. We kept the shades closed the whole time. The staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant is okay, but has limited late night options. While they favor themselves as having a wine focus, the glass of white that I ordered was flat and had been open awhile. Shame on me for ordering by the glass. The dessert was fantastic and they allowed us to take it to our room, which was a nice way to end the evening. Brunch is also pretty good.”

“I did call ahead of time that I was being late in checking in as I was driving down from Vancouver and there was a long line up at the border crossing. They charged me extra $50 since I needed 2 separate beds and they only had 1 double standard room for me. I was traveling with my staff and we dont prefer sleeping together. I am a doctor and she is my staff. I requested for 2 double beds, they made me pay $50 to upgrade me to king size bed and we had to share the bed. Wasnt happy about that.”

Room was neat and clean and well decorated; however it wouldn't hurt if we had a bit more space. Bed and the pillows were very comfortable. “We enjoyed the Vintage Park Hotel with its wine themed rooms, evening wine reception, friendly staff and delicious food at the very cozy restaurant. The chef did an outstanding job of presenting authentic style Italian food. (cont from above) I asked about the booth that was open and he said it was reserved. I said "I believe it was reserved for us." and he just ignored me and seated us next to the empty booth at a tiny table. Needless to say, we sat next to our empty booth all evening, no one sat there all night. This was really our only negative during our stay, but it cast a shadow over our dinner that evening.”
