• Location was great, the beds were nice.
• Old cruddy rooms, rude staff, way overpriced parking.

was extremely disappointed with this hotel, that was supposed to be a 4 star. The staff was awful, didn't tell me any info about the hotel amenities, and when I asked them about local restaurants, etc., they were very unhelpful and made it like it was a hassle. The parking was almost $40 a day, which should have been mentioned before we arrived as that is so overpriced. The room was very old, the drain didn't work in the shower or sink. They didn't have any wine openers for us to use anywhere in the hotel apparently.”

• Great location, friendly staff and it was decorated in holiday cheer.
• I did not like the parking rates $39 per night.

“This hotel is great, we've stayed here before and there are 2 towers. We stayed in the newer tower and it was new and modern. We enjoyed our night out on the town and were able to walk to everything in the area.”

• Location in Downtown Seattle, close walking distance for shopping, food, performing arts and sporting events.
• The size of the bathroom was very small, felt crowded and claustrophobic.

“Loved the decor in the public areas, a ginger-house competition was held there and with numerous local visitors. The restaurants were first class, exceptional menu with great tasting food.”

• Amazing staff, beautiful hotel, and perfect location.
• Parking was expensive but thats expected at a 4 star hotel in the center of the city.

“My wife and I loved this hotel. It is definitely one of our favorites of all time. We stayed on the 25th floor and had an amazing view. The staff was all very professional and helpful. The location was also perfect for experiencing all that main attractions of Seattle.”

“Very pleasant staff and good location for walking and touring. Lots of shopping a decent eatery nearby. Only wished hotel parking was not so expensive. housekeeping is fair - left dirty glasses on the desk and did not exchange for clean glassed on the 3rd night.”

• Very conveniently located, did not need a car if planning to be in the downtown area only.
• Thought $39 a night for parking valet required was a bit too much.

• Close to everything and what we expect of a Sheraton.
• Valet parking.
  We drove so it was tedious to have someone park our car in and take our car out whenever we wanted to use the car.

“Great location, easy walking distance to city life. Would have preferred it if there was a place for us to park our car and take it out ourselves instead of waiting for the valet drivers (and it could take a while) and the whole business of tipping them each time AND charged $33pernight+tax by the hotel surely puts a dent in your wallet. Were given 2 Double beds in our massive room with city views. Great!”

• The bed was extremely comfy, the location is perfect, and the staff is top-notch.
• The food was overpriced, they charged extra for internet, and I couldn't watch the movie I ordered more than once.

“Overall, a great place to stay. The perfect location to explore Seattle; it is within walking distance of Pike Place Market, Pioneer Square, Seattle Center, and Capitol Hill. The room-service was expectedly pricey, but the staff is friendly, respectful, and hospitable. I personally had issues with in-room internet and ordering movies. The gym is above average, however the pool is inadequate for exercise, and always full of screaming children. It would improve the hotel greatly if there were an Olympic-size pool for swimming, and a children's pool for recreation.”

• The restaurant charged 5$ for lunch and dinner for children.
• Rooms did not fit a 5 star hotel, the rooms were small and the carpet was stained. Also the valet charged me days they did not park my car.

“The Sheraton was not the same as the one in LA CA. I found twice that I ask about valet and then the drinks in the restaurant and the staff only told me half and did not tell me about other charges. When you ask how much something is going to be staff should tell you exactly.”

• The bed was extremely comfortable with the softest linens.
• The carpet was stained and the furnishings could use an update in places.

“We were pleased with the room and the service. It was not luxurious but comfortable, spacious and met our needs for a one night stay. We had returned from an Alaskan cruise and wanted to see Seattle. I would recommend this hotel to family and friends.”

• Housekeeping in the rooms and bedding could be improved.

“Overall, the hotel was excellent. The location was good and made it easy to get around without a car. The staff were friendly and helpful. The cleanliness of the room was questionable. There were stains on the bed skirt and smudges on the windows. The first day that we were in the room we found two wine bottles that were missed by housekeeping. I never felt that the room was unclean but a little more care could have been taken to make the room better.”

• The location and the new updated lobby and free internet usage.
• The beds are absolutely horrible. Old and saggy and uncomfortable.

“This hotel spent a lot of money renovating it's lobby area and it is gorgeous and comfortable. I liked the business area with computers and free internet usage. My two big complaints are the old beds that sag and sink in the middle. I have never seen such old beds in this nice of a hotel. The other problem in how expensive parking is. They charge 39.00/night and will not tell you that the garage across the street charges 28.00. Oh, also they claim it is a liability to use a luggage cart to take your luggage upstairs forcing you to use a bellman and therefore fork over another tip.”

• High daily parking fee, plus valet. Worn, soiled rug in room.

“I would not rate the Seattle Sheraton a 4-star, rather a 3.5 star. I was told by my companion that the exercise facilities were outstanding. Parking fee excessive at $39, plus tips for valet parking. Seattle parking is costly though.”

• The location was very central to all of the downtown Seattle attractions and restaurants.
• We asked for special options and amenity choices because it was our anniversary and really go no help.

“The concierge and front desk was less than helpful. The other segments of our stay was great. The food was okay, over priced for the quality. I actually received uncooked sausage for breakfast but overall the stay was nice.”

• Absolutely nothing wrong with this hotel.

“The Sheraton in downtown Seattle is a beautiful hotel. The location is prime, with every shop imaginable within a 5 minute walk. Pike's market is a 15 minute walk. The restaurant on site is very good, the rooms are beautifully decorated and beds were like butter, we melted in them every night. It was quiet, the staff was superb, the pool was nice. I can't remember a more enjoyable experience.”
