• The front desk was very helpful with maps and suggestions.
• Only complaint was we went to get on the airport shuttle & he left without us by mistake.

“We needed help figuring out some of the public transportation in Frisco, and the two people at the desked printed up bus routes and gave us books on the bart and muni system. They really went out of their way to be helpful.”

• Location and generally get what you want.
• I asked for a quiet room, was told yes but did not get one.

“Generally everything is as a Courtyard should be. This time I got a room right next to the side entrance from the parking lot. Every guest coming and going lets the door slam. Last week I had a room that had a broken lock. On my last night I had to go into my room and just not leave until checkout as I may never have gotten back in.”

• It was a Courtyard.
• Having the door locks not work (twice).

“There was stain on the desk chair that was not cleaned properly in spite of mentioning it to the front staff. Worse, the door lock would not work twice on different evenings. On the last night I just had to say I would go into the room and just not leave until checking out.”

• I liked the king size bed, it was very comfortable.
• The staff was not very friendly and the room was not clean. Bathroom had hairs in it and room was not wiped clean.

“Aside from the easy convenience from the airport and city. The hotel staff was rude and the room was not very clean. The bathroom was not clean and there was still left over trash from the previous guest.”

• Wish it had been closer to city but not really a complaint.

• The view from my room was great. It has a lagoon which you can walk around.
• Took 3 hours to get fridge.

“The hotel was nice, but it was freeway close and even with dual pane windows, it was noisy. Also, when I arrived at 3 pm I requested a fridge for my room, unfortunately after 3 hour, I had to call the front desk, and they finally brought one to my room. Basically, the staff was ok, but after staying at a Hyatt, the service was sub par.”

• It was clean and well kept.
• Customer service was poor, we were in a non-smoking room but in the middle of the night we could smell smoke coming from the room below.

“The Hotel as well as the location was descent, we only had an issue with a request for an additional set of towels on the first night, and they never brought it to us.”

“A great place to stay if visiting San Francisco with a car. Free parking + nearby BART station means you can use public transportation when you go Downtown, but drive for day-trips to other areas. Easy access to the 101. Clean rooms, pleasant staff, and they provide a mini-fridge/microwave upon request.”

• The Air conditioner ran all night; it was loud and made it difficult to sleep.

“I commented upon check out to the hotel about the air conditioner and was told that all the air conditioners had problems and needed to be worked on. They were aware of the problem, but seemed not to care about fixing it for the next guest.”

• The overall hotel was extremely clean.
• Parking spots were very limited. Train noise could be heard a few times a day.

“The hotel met my expectation. The room was very clean and we did enjoy our stay there. Unfortunately our room was very close to the train tracks/station. We could hear the train noise several times a day. Amenities in the room were very limited; it could have been stocked up a bit more. The bed, cleanliness, and location were most important to me, so overall I was satisfied.”

• The beds were awesome.
• No one at the hotel restaurant to seat me.

“The staff was helpful, the room was very nice, the bed was the best hotel bed ever! Only regret-- the breakfast looked great, I waited 15 minutes and no one came to seat me even though it said Please wait to be seated. Was concerned about the possible noise from the Bart that runs right out front, no problem. Easy access to 101 and from airport.”

• Great lobby/restaurant layout, lovely outdoors on water.
• Took too long to check in. Fire alarm went off 1/2 hr long.

“Very nice, clean, pretty, beautiful view with water. Could use makeup mirror, dryer and handicapped bar near toilet. Fan in bathroom annoying, should be able to turn off, leaving light on at night. Overall, very comfortable and clean.”

• Staff very friendly, much more helpful and knowledgeable last time we stayed there.
• Staff doesn't appear to understand that for 2 people, we need supplies for 2.

“Attractive room, nice brocade runner on bed added to room¿s attractiveness. Room was very cold all night, impossible to use heater because of constant clatter in use. We planned a new year's eve drink in the bar to celebrate, were then told the bar was not open on holidays! (A poor decision.) An overly sweet wine was sold in small bottles for $20! Staff doesn't send houseman with requested items, tells you to pick it up at desk, or that it¿s available at the desk. As one of our party is disabled this is inconvenient and not appropriate customer service when a houseman or bell person is available. Very polite, not creative thinking re customer satisfaction.”

• Right on the water. Clean, easy parking, safe, comfortable room and beds.
• Most hotels in the Oyster Point area have a free breakfast.

“Very comfortable hotel, right near the big biotech's. On the water with nice views. Downside is that it's on the Cal Train track and freeway, although they didn't disturb my stay. Staff was EXTREMELY friendly. Room was very clean and comfortable. Great Marriott beds. Didn't try the free internet. I've come to expect free internet and free simple breakfast in the Oyster Point area. Sadly the Courtyard is missing the free breakfast although they do have a simple little restaurant and bar.”

• Superb location and facility. Just 11 minutes from San Francisco.
• Really there's nothing I don't like about this hotel.

“Great lobby, indoor pool and spa, extremely comfortable beds, quiet spot in south S.F. on the bay with great views and nearby jogging trail around adjacent inlet, quiet location yet so close to San Francisco and freeways. This is a great spot for business travelers or tourists looking for a quiet port to explore San Francisco from.”

• Had to ask for cream rinse, body lotion, shower cap instead of it being automatically provided.

“Stayed here a few times. Always pleasant; however, its cutting back on its toiletries at a time when the airlines are letting so few through security these days, seems like strange items to cut back on. Asked for refrigerator, and was already in room. Staff always very friendly and helpful.”

“Average hotel, but the facilities are lacking. There is no kitchen on the weekends and the food choices are also limited. Highway is right around the corner, but if you do not have a car then transportation is very inconvenient and difficult. Scenery is nice but other than that there is really not much else to do within the hotel. Breakfast is nice however.”
