• Very clean. Relatively friendly staff. Valet parking does have its issues.
• Upon arrival having to arguing with valet because I was disabled and had problems with motorcycle parking.

“Easy to find. And once you get past the accessibility issues it was all up hill. Clean property inside and out, friendly front desk. "No stress" stays. I didn't dig the $2.50 room temp bottled water offered in each room.”

• The hotel was very easy to find, right off the freeway.
• The sign was very small and not very bright. Only had valet parking that was outrageously priced.

“This hotel was beautiful, upscale, close to the freeway and five blocks from where I needed to be in the morning. With all that said parking was a nightmare, unless I wanted to spend $43.00 on valet parking for overnight (not even 24 hours) and it took 45 minutes to find street parking. The hotel does not offer a continental breakfast either. There is a Starbucks in the lobby though. All in all, it may had been worth it if I had spent more than six hours at the hotel, but it was for sleeping only and the convenience did not make up for the expense.”

• We enjoyed the Whisper's Lounge.
• I missed a small refrigerator for snacks and left over meals. But there was ice.

“Everything was incredible. My Husband and I are good for another 50,000 miles. We will go there again. I don't think we'll go anywhere else, when we visit San Francisco.”

• Location, close to market St. and restaurants was good.
• Noisy room even at late hours. Also apparently undergoing construction.

“It would have been a solid (and basic) 2.5 star hotel except for the noise. There were banging and mechanical noises throughout most of the night, seemingly coming from the elevator machinery. (Elevator shafts were across the hall, we were on 2nd floor from top). Also the hotel was apparently undergoing construction, as there were "work" sounds such as hammering, scraping above and beside our room throughout many hours of our stay.”

• Location was good and the rooms were very nice-the beds were awesome!

“Easy to find-used BART from east bay and was an easy walk from the station on Montgomery. Bellman was great with recommendations to eat. The concierge was excellent in helping with maps and sightseeing and points-of-interest.”

“We were very pleased with the hotel, it was well maintained and the staff was very friendly! We had to do some walking though to get to the Union Square, a few blocks. Other than that, it met all our expectations.”

• Fabulous location within walking distance of everything we wanted to see. Other than the rude waiter staff was very friendly and helpful.
• Rude, tip hungry cocktail waiter.

“Great downtown location with easy walking access to the Embarcadero, Ferry Building, Union Square/theater/restaurants, SBC Park - and more! Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Large, well appointed rooms/bathrooms with very comfortable beds and linens. Would definitely stay there again - and will check out other Marriott Courtyards as a result.”

“If you are staying at a convention at the moscone center this is a great alternative to the mega sized hotels. It is ideally suited for leisure and business without being too crowded. It is right next to the CNet building, one block from the J P Morgan chase building, etc. This area of town has really changed for the better.”

• Price. Of course, it's downtown SF and everything is expensive.

“While the hotel is a little on the pricy side (except for in SF), this was a very fine hotel. I would recommend it to other peopling staying in downtown SF.”

• Very clean, extremely comfortable king bed, very relaxing stay.
• Parking too expensive at $50/day.

“This hotel is nice, comfortable, and new looking. It's very conveniently located, walking distance to the Ferry Building and Market, and close enough to Fisherman's Wharf for a short taxi ride.”

• The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was good if you're not afraid to walk a bit and take lots of buses and trolleys.
• The room was very nice except for the ceiling - which was popcorn covered but with about 10 areas of missing patches of popcorn and stains.

“We had a great time. The hotel was clean and had pretty much everything you need - including a Starbucks in the lobby! It's close to the new ballpark and Union Square. We were able to get to a lot of destinations by walking, but if you're not a walker the buses, trolley, and metro lines are quick and easy to get to. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful - they really went out of their way to be of great service to us. We would most definitely stay there again.”

“It was very nice, pleasant atmosphere. Courteous, happy workers overall. One of the most comfortable beds we've ever experienced in a hotel. We would stay there again if the opportunity arose.”

“This is a great location for anyone wishing to stay in SF close to Moscone center. There are many restaurants within a 2 block radius, and the facilities in the hotel are adequate as well. Plus, it couldn't be any closer to both freeways on and off ramps.”

“We enjoyed our stay here very much. The staff was competent, friendly, and seemed like they really wanted to be there. I was not concerned about going outside at night to smoke (non-smoking hotel) because of the neighborhood. I will return here!”

• It was nice and clean the staff was nice.
• My room didn't have a fridge I thought it was the Marriott on 2nd & market St, when I called the hotel to CFM info they said it was the "other" Marriott.

“The rooms are clean and the grounds and public spaces and also very clean. It is a little bit of a distance from down town san Francisco, but not bad and close to reasonable parking. Just a few blocks from Masonic center. Very close to financial some businesses and restaurants.”

• The beds were so comfortable and the staff went out of their way to accommodate us and our 3 small grandchildren.
• The restaurant was too upscale for small children and the other rest. Was not open after lunch.

“We had a wonderful stay. With three little ones all in diapers the staff was quick to accommodate taking out the trash and cleaning the room. The beds were great.”

• Room size and very friendly staff.
• The prices for incidentals are really high for the star level.

“The courtyard Marriott is a well located hotel for business travelers but a bit far for tourist wanting to be in the middle of the action. This hotel has a beautiful lobby and bar, the fitness room is really small but for a fee u can go across the street to a full facility. Even tough is very close to the freeway the noise level at the room was surprisingly low.”

• The staff gave wonderful customer service and the room was quite big. Very nice!
• I would rather park my auto myself and valet was the only option.

“First impression, the hotel was very attractive. The customer service by the entire staff was outstanding from the moment I checked in to the moment I left. They offered assistance and went out of their way to ensure that I enjoyed my stay. The hotel may be a little far from the 'tourist' attractions, but the staff offered terrific directions on how to use the city's easily accessible cable cars and other public transportation.”

• Very large room with sofa.
• Too far to walk from union square in the evening. Very few people on the street t at night.

“The courtyard Marriott is a perfect, spacious hotel with very friendly help. There is a semi-oriental decor with lots of plants and comfortable chairs in the lobby. Really a homey sitting room ambience. The only difficulty, since it is in the financial district, there are very few people on the street in the area at night and I didn't feel comfortable walking in the area. It is within a block or two of a not very desirable zone.”

• Bathroom tile floors were very clean. We've been in to many (w/same star rating) that the tile was clean but the grout was filthy!
• Evenings you could only eat in the bar area, which was great for us. But it took a long time to get the food and it was barely warm.

“The hotel had a very pleasant staff. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Loved having a coffee maker in the room. We enjoyed how close it was to at@t baseball park!”

• It had 2 beds. I liked that it had internet service and a star bucks.
• I had a minor rude encounter with the hotel desk staff.

“I recommend this hotel. It is clean, extremely close to the mason center and downtown. Although the downtown area is dead on the weekend or after 6 pm, it met all of my expectations as a solo business person.”

• Did not get my Marriott rewards. Cheap airline ticketed pax. Get there air miles, yes.

“Marriott always excellent world wide. But very disappointed about no rewards points. Cheap airline passenger get there mileage awards, and expect everything on the airplane for their cheap fares. ”

• The new bedding was terrific!
• Sorry, I can not think of anything. All was good.

“The moment I walked in, I felt like it was a 4 star hotel. I know it rates a three because it lacks amenities, but the lobby, lounges, and rooms are spacious and decorated very nicely. Marriott did an extensive renovation in all its' properties, and the beddings are terrific! I would stay in a courtyard or any Marriott owned property again.”

“In a way having the hotel restaurant closed for remodeling was a plus since we were directed to a great Chinese restaurant within walking distance. The front desk personnel were very nice and the rooms were clean.”

• I liked the friendliness and efficiency of the staff and the fact there was a star bucks in the hotel. It was also close to local bus stops.
• It wasn't close to an Amtrak bus drop off.
