- Everything was great except one thing.
“The guy taking orders for room service messes up a lot, so talk slowly so he gets everything right, otherwise the room was very nice, and the hot lobby is very nice. Very nice hotel at a nice price.”

- Staff was horrible! The room's were not that great. Very disappointed especially in staffs lack of hospitality.
“Hilton Garden Inn San Francisco Airport North in South San Francisco, CA. The front desk and house keeping staff was horrible! The rooms were not that great. We checked in late evening and requested a late check out for the next morning. Normal check out time was noon and would only honor 12:30 in the afternoon as a late check out. I kid you not; they started calling us at 11:30am every 10 minutes reminding us that we had to be out no later than 12:30. At 12:15pm we received a knock on the door from house asking us to check out. Keep in mind most hotels give you until 2pm for a late check out and do not bother you in the mean time. I will never stay at this hotel again and will be sure to warn my friends and fellow co-workers.”

- The bed was great. The room had a great view.
- Problems with concierge.
“The Hyatt Regency Embarcadero is centrally located, in a great spot to get most anywhere in the city. There are problems getting cabs on weekend nights. The rooms are nice but rather sterile, no charm. The bathtub could have been a little larger given the upscale nature of the hotel. Very clean. My main issue was the concierge. We had a limited lunch break from our convention class, and asked him to recommend a nearby restaurant as we had time constraints. He sent us to the ferry building. The place was a market place and a zoo on a Saturday. We located the restaurants after some searching through the crowds. Each one had long lines, and it was clear we would not be able to be seated and eat before we had to return to the hotel. We left hungry and irritated. I contacted the hotel staff, and complained. They said they would make a note of it, but did nothing to make up for the error.”

- Staff was very friendly with awesome $10 breakfast buffet. Shuttle makes it easy to get to airport and BART station. They even let us check in at 6 am!
- 2 of the 3 shuttle drivers are not good drivers and jerk the gas and brake when driving.
“This hotel was very convenient and moderately priced. It met every expectation and we had no complaints. It is located within 10 minutes of the airport and BART station with free transportation to both. They have a nice breakfast buffet for only $10 and the wait staff is unbeatable for the money. They even allowed us to take food up to the room for later. They have free internet although my laptop was not working. I highly recommend this hotel for business and leisure travelers.”

- I liked the cleanliness and the friendly staff. I liked the ample parking and internet access.
- Not much of a view outside my window and my bed mattress had a sink hole.
“I was Looking for a hotel to stay at overnight in the San Francisco area. Parking, safety and proximity to the ball park were my main concerns. This hotel met those requirements hands down. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The hotel itself was very well kept. It is impressive when you walk through the sliding glass doors. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.”

- The best thing about the hotel was the staff. Friendly, courteous, respectful. Bravo!
- The beds could have been larger and there is no interest access in the rooms.
“One thing that was great was the indoor swimming pool! When room service was called, they were quick and efficient. The best thing was the staff. You couldn't find a staff that was more courteous, helpful, timely, concerned about our welfare and how we liked the accommodations. The Hilton has the best personal available. I plan to revisit San Francisco again and again and I plan to stay with these extraordinary people.”

- Our plane arrived early in the day and early check-in was no problem at all.
- In the description it stated that the hotel had bay views from some rooms, when I asked about this they said there were no bay views.
“The hotel was nice and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again if I were here for business, but for vacation I would choose something closer to all of the attractions.”

“We really liked the Hilton Garden Inn. However, we just had a small problem getting there. They shut their shuttle services down at midnight so you have to make sure you are out of the city by 11 so you will make the last shuttle because it takes an hour to get there from BART. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.”

“The hotel was a very nice quality hotel located in just the area I anticipated. However, the hotel staff was unaware of services in the area, entered the room without knocking and was not helpful. When they were reminded of the importance of guest privacy they indicated that they did not have control of their maintenace staff!! Until they resolve this issue I would not stay in this hotel again!”

“The room was clean, well-appointed and quiet, other than the sound of slamming doors down the hallway. I was delighted with free parking. The fitness center was simply a few cardio machines. The restaurant was OK, with spotty service. For the price, it was a great bargain. The room cost less than some downtown hotels ask for parking alone!”

“I was incredibly suprised by the overall quality and the courteousy of the hotel staff. The low rise "garden style" hotel made it very pleasant and quiet in such a busy side of the San Francisco Airport area. The rooms are well designed for space, comfort, convenience (microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker) and fashion (I was impressed with the bathroom lampshades!). Superb!”
