• Decor was warm, colorful and trendy.
• Fitness center fell short; only 2 upper body weight machines, free weights, lots of tread mills, no lower body machines.

“Staff friendly and accommodating; double beds not Queens in the rooms in which there are 2 beds. Hotel, admirably, trying to do its share for the environment. Room had a fresh feel to it with white comforter and thin white quilts that lent some texture to the bed's appearance. Very contemporary abstract art hung over the bed. View from our 22nd floor was great. Number of electric outlets in bathroom that were easily accessible was a challenge.”

• Very attractive room with an excellent view.

“Kudos to the La Meridien for providing a recyclables container and opening window/doors. The rooms all have corner wrap around windows with great views and sliding doors that open enough to let in fresh air. Very attractive European designed room with comfortable bed and seating.”

• Balcony.
• No free internet.

“This is an exceptional hotel located within the embarcadero close to the water. The staff was most helpful and efficient. If you can get a room with a balcony, this is an exceptional venue. They should provide free internet/WiFi.”

• Location was OK; near Embarcadero Center.
• Area pretty deserted on weekends and there's a firehouse house nearby so get used to sirens in the middle of the night.

“For amenities, the following were listed: golf & tennis. This hotel is situated in the SF Financial District and doesn't even have a pool/Jacuzzi. It was great for the business traveler with its cold, business-like atmosphere. However, it was not family-friendly or - oriented and definitely wasn't romantic.”

• It was very quiet at night with minimum street noise.
• Nothing.

“The hotel was conveniently located for everything we wanted to do such as dine and walk in safe places. I loved the coffee service in the morning ready in the lobby. The staff was friendly and accommodating.”

• Great location and amazing views, plus the luxuriously comfy bed!
• There was nothing we didn't like and we will definitely stay here again!

“This was one of the best stays in San Francisco we've had, and we stay there often. Great, helpful staff. Great location near the Embarcadero and Ferry Building. Walking distance to many great restaurants. We had an amazing view of the Bay and the the city from the large windows in our room on the 18th floor. Extremely quiet hotel, no noise in the morning. We were able to sleep in with no disruption at all. Finally, wonderful linens, including a luxurious down comforter, combined with an exceptional mattress made our stay even more perfect.”

“I took my wife to San Francisco for a surprise date. She was incredibly surprised and impressed with the hotel. The price was reasonable for it's location. But the parking is very high. There is easy access to restaraunts and SF's most popular attractions. I would stay here again.”

• Everything.
• A little too much noise between rooms may make it difficult for groups or families.

“I loved the hotel and the entire experience. The staff was excellent. The hotel exceeded my expectations in every way, especially the staff. The location was perfect for a tourist, we walked to everything. Rooms were beautiful and cozy. My only concern was we had a noise complaint while we were getting ready for bed at night. This may make it difficult for families traveling with small children. Even with this small concern I cant imagine staying anywhere else in such a grand city.”

• I loved the 24 hour fitness center and friendly staff.
• No smoking, and very small balcony.

“I did not like that the hotel didn't have any smoking rooms, and the balcony was extremely small. Not to mention valet parking was very expensive.”

• Hotel was clean with decor pleasing - staff
  was very friendly and helpful.
• Did not replenish soap and shampoos.

“Overall I was very pleased with hotel and service and would definitely stay again. Location was good for me. Close to the Bart so did not have to rent car. Drawback is the fact that there
is no real restaurants close and the food in the hotel leaves a lot to be desired.”

• Hotel room, quality of the bedding, robes.
• Room being next to the electrical room and the elevators.

“We were celebrating our 22nd wedding anniversary and we were greatly disappointed. The noise from the electrical room and the elevators was loud, and was heard all through the afternoon and during the night. Putting a damper on the mood. There is a 43.00 parking fee and with tax it came out to 49.00. This hotel is more for the upscale business types. Not romantics. There was an honor bar in the room, however they did not have coffee makers in the room for those of us who do not drink and when we went down to the lobby for coffee in the morning the coffee was luke warm.”

“I wanted a luxury feeling to the room and got it! The beds are divine, the furniture and layout lovely and harmonious. Nice, small boutique feeling to hotel with large-hotel services available. l Great Location for SF!”

• Beautiful room, great toiletries, great location.
• Housekeeping was a little late cleaning the room.

“Beautiful hotel with almost a boutique feel. Right next to the Embarcadero Center and a very short walk from the Embarcadero BART station. Most rooms have wonderful views of the ferry building and the bay.”

• Tastefully decorated rooms at a great location.

“Great hotel with nicely decorated rooms. Wish we had a room with the spectacular ocean view. We were able to walk to many places from the hotel including the Ferry Building market, SBC Park, lots of great restaurants.”

• The hotel was modern with great rooms and views. Very clean with wonderful beds. I would love to stay there again. Great location.
• The parking was so expensive.

“The Park Hyatt was a wonderful surprise. We enjoyed our stay immensely. We paid an extra $35 to upgrade to a bay view room and it was well worth the money. The rooms are much warmer and more inviting than most hotels and we loved the bed and bedding. We always stay at 4 or 5 star hotels and this was certainly in that class. They didn't have a great bar or restaurant gathering area but there are enough places nearby that it wasn't a problem. We would certainly stay there again.”

“We had a beautiful room at the Park Hyatt. The view was fabulous. Everyone who worked there was professional and kind. We were able to walk to many sights we wanted to see, the SBC park, Union Square, Embarcadero,...There was a nice restaurant across the street we enjoyed dinner and breakfast there. My husband and I enjoyed our stay there very much.”

“The Park Hyatt is one of the best Hyatt's I've ever stayed at. The rooms are nicely appointed; views are amazing and the beds and pillows are superb. Service was outstanding and they have an excellent restaurant right in the hotel.”

“We were very pleased with the Park Hyatt. It's a great hotel, the staff was very courteous and the location was great. The only issue we had was that our room was on one of lowest floors of the hotel and thus, close to traffic noise. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay.”
