“Being lied to about about smoking/non-smoking floors/rooms isn't acceptable. Non smoking floors are clearly labeled as such in this hotel and the stench on the floors not so placarded is obvious.” Nov 19, 2009 by
from Columbus,OH
“The room was spacious, clean and well appointed. The beds were wonderful. Amenities were nice.” Nov 18, 2009 by
Laura from San Luis Obispo,CA
“We have stayed at the Parc 55 before and love this hotel. I wish the parking fee wasn't so high. We loved the bar and the breakfast buffet was good.” Oct 28, 2009 by
Jen from Vancouver,Canada
“The hotel was great, the location was terrific and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. This hotel offers lots of little perks such as free beverages (soda, juice, snacks) and chic, modern rooms. I would stay here again.” Oct 14, 2009 by
Joceline from Mississauga,Canada
“The reception desk was efficient, rooms were spacious and well lit. Recently renovated. Very nice hotel.” Oct 14, 2009 by
Kelly from Littlerock,CA
“Parc 55 hotel really impresses me every time I stay there! Their new restaurant, Cityhouse, has a fabulous Rib Eye, their rooms are upscale, clean and comfortable, and their location is within walking distance (.5 mile) of the Orpheum Theatre.” Oct 12, 2009 by
Debbie from Portsmouth,NH
“We were looking for a nice hotel in close proximity to public transportation and comfortable walking around the city. Parc 55 is conveniently located for Trolley, BART and the bus stops, and we used them all. We were able to walk to restaurants and shopping area and sightseeing stops were a short hop away on any form of public transportation. The hotel was clean, comfortable and the staff friendly and accommodating. I always look for a comfortable bed and nice linens and we were not disappointed. I had only one slightly negative comment. The TV reception (although new flat screens and Hi Def) was poor and came in and out. We weren't in our room that long so it was not an issue. Not sure if that was the TV or the reception. Comfortable, friendly lounge/bar area. Nice restaurant. I would definitely stay at Parc 55 again. Great location, beautiful hotel, nicely redone. Absolutely no complaints.” Oct 5, 2009 by
David from Cathedral City,CA
“Hotel remodeled. Very clean and comfortable, excellent location to muni and cable cars also shopping and tourist things at your door step.” Oct 3, 2009 by
Alesia from Albuquerque,NM
“Great service, incredible room with views and amazing location. Close to everything.” Sep 20, 2009 by
Keith from Grand Blanc,MI
“This hotel charged 12.95/night for wifi. Simple motels at 1/3 price offer it free. Business center charged $5/min for internet access. Water in room $4.50/small bottle which even in an upscale wine shop was 1.50. Usury and the staff rudely stated that was what they charged period and they were going to do nothing about it. Then the staff tried to sell restaurant services which again were outrageous.” Sep 20, 2009 by
Jenn from Kingston,Canada
“Parc55 was in a great location that was very convenient to get to. They even upgraded us to a club level room. The rooms were clean and we had a great view (from one side of the room).” Sep 13, 2009 by
Jennifer from Atl,GA
“They were very accommodating since I had to change locations at 5am! Thank you for your kindness.” Aug 23, 2009 by

“This hotel was perfect from start to finish. Our room was not ready yet when we arrived and the host upgraded us without hesitation. The room was fantastic. Everyone at the hotel from the bellhops to the cleaning staff was willing to help with any of our needs. Highly recommended!” Aug 22, 2009 by
Mark from Laguna Niguel,CA
“Parc 55 is a very modern hotel right in the heart of Union Square. If you are looking to stay in Union Square area, this place could not be beat for the price. The hotel restaurants and bars looked very upscale. Since we were traveling with a 3 year old, we settled for the.” Aug 19, 2009 by

“The hotel was perfect for the traveler looking for a clean, refurbished, modern room with nice amenities.” Jun 26, 2009 by
Rhonda from Las Vegas,NV
“Scary neighborhood. We saw stabbing, a protest rally and lots of hookers on the streets outside our room. We had 4:00am false fire alarm and had to walk down 16 floors to a bad area at night. Really scary.” Jun 18, 2009 by
Elle from Golden Valley,MN
“Great location, staff was friendly and helpful.” Jun 16, 2009 by
Barbara from Abilene,KS
“Room was very nice but didn't have a good view. Really no problems except the extra charges for parking and wifi, which we chose not to use.” Jun 14, 2009 by
Holly from Louisville,KY
“Very nice room and comfortable bed, with great bathroom. Parking was nearly $50 for one day, and internet was another $13 ouch!” Jun 11, 2009 by

“Being just a block away from the Powell St. BART station was very convenient. I felt like we were right in the middle of it all, but once up in our room at Parc 55, sufficiently removed from the Jun 9, 2009 by

“An expensive commercial hotel.” Jun 9, 2009 by
Sam from Apple Valley,MN “Lobby was nice and spacious. Hotel staff from bellhop, concierge, housekeeping etc were all great. Location was perfect as it was in a prime location accessible to mall, shops, bus line, underground train, union square, restaurant and right in the middle of happening part of town without being noisy and crowded.” Jun 8, 2009 by
Mary from Chesterfield,MO

“I am a very experienced traveler, and could not have been more pleased. The room was wonderful. I requested a change because I had a room with an adjoining door and don't like that. They were very gracious. The bellmen were particularly helpful and informative.” May 22, 2009 by
Kathy from Flushing,NY
“The location of this hotel was convenient, with meter parking around the corner. There were many restaurants and shopping areas. We requested double beds during check in and were given the room without problems. The room was pretty spacious and clean.” May 15, 2009 by
Steven from St Louis Park,MN
“The Parc 55 is a large, very nice hotel. The public spaces are attractive and contemporary, and there is a beautiful hotel restaurant, where we had an outstanding-though expensive-breakfast one morning. Our room was similarly attractive and contained everything from an upscale hotel, though it lacked a refrigerator. The bed was very comfortable, and the climate control system was particularly good and extremely quiet. Unfortunately there was some street noise, though nothing unexpected given the busy location. Like other such hotels, access to the internet is an additional charge. The staff we interacted with was uniformly pleasant and efficient. I would definitely go back.” May 14, 2009 by
Julian from Fallbrook,CA
“Not a four star hotel. It actually is used by overseas flight crews.” May 13, 2009 by
Allan from Reno,NV
“You can't beat this place for its location and facilities. They've moved the check-in to a new (nice) second floor lobby. Nice breakfast buffet and lounge.” May 7, 2009 by
Sadie from Playa Del Rey,CA
“Very convenient location, short walk from Bart station. Room was not ready at 3 pm. receptionist was rude and won't tell me what floor she was going to assign me. Was told to come back at 4 pm. So we had to basically stay near the area for an hour. By the time we came back, a long line had formed at the lobby desk, had to wait 15 minutes in line. And was told the room was still not ready. But they upgraded the room for the inconvenience. Nice view from the high floors. Bed was comfy.” May 7, 2009 by
Randi from Tacoma,WA
“For a business trip, this hotel was in a very convenient location. The housekeeping was very friendly as was the guest service staff. However, the valet parking attendants were very curt when it comes to assistance with luggage storage. Overall, it was a good experience.” May 1, 2009 by
Kelly from Barrie,Canada
“Staff was friendly. Rooms were spacious and very clean.” May 1, 2009 by
Michele from San Jose,CA
“Clearly they care more about business travelers than weekender. Room furnishings, lamps etc where Howard Johnson level - this place was clean and OK. It was noisy, but it is in the middle of the city with concrete canyons, maybe they need thicker glass, I have had rooms right next to airports and not heard the jets, so clearly it can be done.” Apr 30, 2009 by
Michael from Scottsdale,AZ
“Good value for the money.” Apr 26, 2009 by
Matt from San Jose,CA
“Pros: Clean, excellent location in SF. Cons: No spa in hotel, horrible service in the restaurant, $40 for parking overnight” Apr 26, 2009 by
Hanh from Stockton,CA
“I would go again.” Apr 25, 2009 by
Christine from Sammamish,WA “The room was very nice and roomy with an extreamly comfortable bed.” Apr 22, 2009 by
Steve from Stowe,VT
“The ear plugs provided in the room where a clue about the noise levels at night. Extremely noisy from people out late partying on the street, loud traffic, and poor sound proofing in the hallways. This might be a 4 star hotel in a different neighborhood, not bordering on the Tenderloin and the grubby street scene. We felt the hotel was misrepresented and would not stay here again at any price.” Apr 21, 2009 by
Daniel from Toronto,Canada
“Overall, very good.” Apr 21, 2009 by
Nimi from San Francisco,CA
“Very good and comfortable.” Apr 20, 2009 by
Kevin from San Luis Obispo,CA
“The hotel was very nice. I did not like the fact that we were charged 65.00 per night for parking.” Apr 16, 2009 by
Nadira from Menlo Park,CA “Hotel was okay, too crowded with air crew. Not at all romantic. Very basic with basic furnishings, slightly loud because of construction even though we were on 24th floor. Nothing fancy at all. Not a romantic hotel by any stretch of the imagination. Rude valet.” Apr 16, 2009 by
Chris from Westport,CT
“We were very pleased with the hotel. It was nicer than we expected and very well located, convenient to theaters, shopping and BART.” Apr 15, 2009 by
Howard from West Hollywood,CA
“Very nice hotel in a great Union Square location. The room, although somewhat small, is nice appointment with many comforts including a flat screen TV, coffee maker etc. I had a very pleasant stay.” Apr 14, 2009 by
Nadira from Menlo Park,CA
“This is not a bad hotel - for someone who is okay with hotels by the airport (although this is located in a bustling part of SF). Unfortunately, there were tons of air crew checking in all the time! So long lines for check-in and for the concierge. It also was OK rooms - plasma TV, and a sofa, and comfortable king-size bed. Location was the only plus, but we decided we would never stay at this hotel again. It lacked the cozy, warm factor.” Apr 6, 2009 by
Logan from Bonnville,CA
“It was perfectly clean and safe and the staff was friendly. However, all the hidden fees for parking and internet, etc. kind of wrecked the experience, especially since we weren't allowed access to the nice lounge.” Apr 6, 2009 by
Marylou from Montgomery Village,MD
“Great hotel, comfortable, great location. Accessible (walking) to restaurants, shopping, Bart train, cable cars.”
