• Comfortable beds, quiet room, clean.
• Uninspired continental breakfast.

“This La Quinta Inn is outside of downtown Tacoma. It seems to be well-managed, although I had accidently left a camera battery charger in a plug in my room and it was not found when I phoned upon returning home. So, this was a disappointment. Yet, the room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly and the availability of a washer/drier on the main floor was an added perk.”

• Best beds that I have ever slept on, I even looked to see the name of the bed so that I can purchase one.
• In the bar area the bar tender was too busy flirting.

“Very clean and friendly staff. Beds like sleeping on clouds best night sleep would stay there again and again .”

• Location was great. Pool area was beautiful. The kids enjoyed it very much.

• Great location right off of the freeway.
• No free Hot breakfast, Muffin and coffee.

“Nice hotel right off I-5, Close to Tacoma dome, friendly staff, good hot tub and outdoor pool. Lots of down filled pillows, and good quality sheets. A great hotel for the price!”

• Convenience, central location, cleanliness, nice lobby.
• Wasn't informed about brunch at the time we checked about breakfast.

“Very nice hotel. Wanted to eat breakfast on Sunday morning. Called operator to ask when breakfast was over. She said 10:00am. Quickly went down to the restaurant, arriving at 9:55, only to be told breakfast was over and we would have to eat an expensive brunch. We stayed and ate the brunch (which was very good), however, we were put off that we were not informed of it at the time we called the operator.”

• Old windows, very noisy from freeway and air conditioners.

“I would not stay here again because of the noise. I asked for a different room, but was not given one on the back side of the hotel.”

• Very clean and friendly.
• Difficulty getting internet working, but help desk was efficient.

“The hotel is very clean and friendly. The location is a drive from everything, so no walking into the downtown from here. It is very close to the Tacoma Dome. The internet would not work without reconfiguring my laptop, but the help desk was efficient with resolving the issue. I would stay here again when on business or on a short stay.”

• Very well situated by Tacoma dome, clean and quiet.
• Couldn't get queen bed in non-smoking room.

“Great location by I5 freeway. Hotel was pretty clean and quiet even with youth hockey team staying there. Had a bar and restaurant inside hotel which is nice considering it wasn't a four or five star hotel. I would definitely stay there again, especially for the price we got for a Saturday night.”

• I was greatly disapointed.

“My stay was for 4 nights. The first room they put me in had no chairs. Before morning it had no power and no lights at the desk. After moving to an other room the TV was not working properly and the internet hardly worked at all.”

• I think the Continental Breakfast could have been larger.

• Since it was close to freeway, the traffic was noisy.

“The hotel was rated a 2 star, but I have stayed in 3 star hotels that are not as friendly and clean as this one. Would definately stay again. If you like to gamble, Emerald Queen Casino is very close..”

• Elegance on a beer budget
• waiters in restaurant were very slow and rude

“The hotel is beautiful, easily located taste of elegance with all the extras of a luxury hotel, without the extra cost. Restaurant on site is a fine dining experience that will excite your taste buds and not stretch your pocketbook. Room service is lacking and pool is not indoors, but overall, it is a very great experience.”

• The Staff was great, the The clean atmosphere was refreshing.
• The billing for the Restaurant charges, was a little confusing

“The Hotel it self had a great location.The Staff was extra proffesional.I had never stayed at a La Quinta Hotel before but will so again in the future.I would recommend this particular location to friends and family.In my opinion this Hotel should be rated a (3)*** star and not (2)** ”
