• Modern rooms including flat screen television and comfortable beds.
• The open shower made things a little chilly.

“This is a beautiful hotel in a great location on fisherman's wharf. When we walked into our room we couldn't believe how clean and modern it was. When we saw the bed with the comforter and big fluffy pillows we had to lie down on it and that is when we noticed the flat screen television! The kids loved the heated pool on the second floor and Knuckles sports bar in the lobby is a great place to have a drink and unwind.”

“I have stayed here this summer twice: once with my youngest daughter and once with my husband. My daughter and I had fun in the pool. My husband and I just liked the privacy. Staff all very, very nice.”

• Newly remodeled rooms, very nice, fancy but comfortable.
• Staff not as helpful as we would have liked.

“Overall, this was a very nice hotel. The room was beautiful and it had all the amenities you could need. Only complaint is there was a loud, annoying buzzing sound outside our room in the hall. We notified front desk staff who were less than helpful. For our troubles offered us free breakfast vouchers that we could not use, as we were leaving early in the morning. Buzzing did not go away all night long. Also, only valet parking available, costs $38.00 a day plus tip. Very irritating.”

“I was never given the option of self-park; door-man insisted on bringing luggage to my room. I awoke to find a $45 parking charge receipt under my door, and when I questioned the manager, she said they have some "packages" which include the parking fee, but mine didn't. None of these charges were disclosed when I arrived. I'm fairly forgiving, but I'll never stay here again. Feel like the victim of a good old "bait & switch."”

• It was conveniently located (Fisherman's Wharf)-walking distance to places we wanted to see.
• The $38/day (!)valet parking which was not indicated in the reservations.

• The room was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable.
• The parking was difficult, and expensive in my opinion.

“We were very pleased with this hotel in every way, other than the parking, however this may be common in San Francisco. Just to pull in the lot, was like a traffic jam. As I said above, it was $40/day to park, which I thought was high.”

• Excellent room with very comfortable beds.
• There was a long walk to our room due to having only one set of elevators.

“We spent 3 days here including the Fourth of July and we were very satisfied. Wireless access was a plus (for $11.95) and great flat-screen monitor for the TV.”

“We arrived early and had to wait for a room to be cleaned. They gave us a nice King room non-smoking as requested, however, the room was a large room with dressing area and the bathroom had a Jacuzzi. What a nice place to stay!”

“The staff was friendly-the hotel decor & location were awesome! One problem-we were delayed in a traffic jam. I called 20min. before we arrived to make sure there were no delays @ check-in, due to the fact that we were booked for a dinner cruise. When we arrived, we were told that the parking @ the hotel was full & we would need to find a public lot. As a result, we almost missed the cruise, which was a reunion. To make matters worse, I was 10 days out from major surgery & had to "jog" to make it to the boat. Otherwise, great hotel! We'll stay there again!”

• The front desk staff did not set my expectations regarding my room, however they were able to find a more suitable room.

• Paying $38 to park overnight.

“The hotel is very clean and conveniently located. However, be prepared to pay through the nose for overnight parking! The hotel restaurant stops serving food at 11:00 pm. We only checked in minutes before closing and had to beg for a menu.”

• Staff upgraded our room when we let them know it was for our 12th anniversary.
• House keeping staff disturbed us several times during the day when we had the do not disturb sign on the door.

“The hotel is very nice and has been remodeled in soothing colors. The quality of the hotel is excellent. The only real drawback is the $36 parking fee for each day (which we avoided).”

• Currently under construction. Noisy and smells like building material chemicals.

“We were never told that this hotel was under remodeling and that there would be a lot of noise and chemical smells. The noise lasted from 9 am to 9 pm. The smells were constant and you could smell them in your room. I don't recommend this hotel, until the construction is completed. Also, the hotel fire alarm went off because of some water spill. The staff couldn't turn off the fire alarm for over an hour.”

• Wouldn't give me a non smoke room the 1st night couldn't breathe.

“Front desk (Rob) hung up on me 3 times. once the day before my arrival (about the necessity of non smoke room) and twice while I was with the bellman trying to find a non smoking room. Cig. burns on sheers, stains on chairs, carpet, walls, etc. Kept being reminded that I was a priceline customer!!!!”

• Knuckles, the sports bar was great. Location was great.
• No view, parking too expensive for paying guest, rooms plain, charged us incidentals fee of $225.00 and took 5 days to remove. Did not disclose this.

“The hotel is in a good location for walking to lots of SF sights. There is NO view and rooms are typical and plain. Knuckles sports bar had great food and service! Parking too expensive for guests. Even for San Francisco. Great stay if you aren't going for the room but the sights!”

• They held my baggage while I toured past my checkout time and offered to adjust the check out time. Very helpful.
• The cost of parking was 36.00 way too much. Next time I will park down the street for 10.00.

• For some reason we were not given a room with a plasma TV.

“This hotel totally met our expectations for a three star hotel as did the Holiday Inn in Baltimore where we stayed the night before. The Holiday Inn in San Diego at which we stayed following our two nights in San Francisco was a disaster in every respect - from stained mattresses to location. Previously, we have stayed at excellent hotels in San Diego. I really hope our next experience is better than our last. Historically I have been a tremendous advocate of your services.”

• Guest Parking - cost $40.00 per night.

“We love Hyatt- But doubt we'll return with the $40.00 per night parking for guests. We stayed two nights and basically that amount would've paid for an extra night.”
