- Good service, good location, great price through priceline.
- Parking too expensive, restaurant too expensive.
“Hotel was clean, comfortable, noise from the street was loud but we were tired so it didn't bother us but may if someone is a light sleeper. Service was good, the housekeeper forgot the bath towels but they were brought up in minutes, hotel meet and exceeded our expectations, staff was friendly. Good job!”

- Updated rooms
- Plates and food left in hall more than 24 hours
“Parking was VERY expensive. I would park at the public garage that was next door in the future. Rooms were nice size and updated but lack of staff. Food and plates were left in the hall the entire time we were there (about 30 hours).”

- Good location, friendly and helpful staff.
“It is well located to Fisherman's Wharf, as well as the two cable car lines that run into the city. Short walk to Pier 39 and Ghirardelli Square, and a nice stroll to North Beach and Chinatown. Room was clean and quiet, and there are various good dining establishments within a 5 minute walk.”

- The staff was very friendly and accommodating, especially the service staff.
“This Marriott is in a great location, with easy walking to Fisherman's Wharf and North Beach, which are only 6 or so blocks up Columbus. The lobby was attractive and the room was very comfortable and clean. Most notable was the friendliness and professionalism of the staff, from the helpful parking attendants to the maid who provided the extra shampoos we requested. The desk clerks were welcoming and happy to provide us with maps and give us a late check out time on the day we left.”

- The price of parking was horrendous $49.00.
“I will never stay here again because of the absolutely ridiculous price for parking. I do not think that I have ever heard of $50.00 to park somewhere overnight. I think that the price of parking should be told to us ahead of time.”

- It was very convenient to all the places that we wanted to go.
- The hotel charged $43 a day to park your car. I'd never had to pay to park my car at a hotel that I was staying.

- The location was easy walking distance and safe.
- The computers were frequently in use by children.
“Great location, close to Fisherman's Warf, easy walk to North end restaurants and pizza or Denny's for kids. Renting bikes to go to the Golden Gate Bridge. Easy access to the City Muni Bus, China Town, Metreon, Museums and Alcatraz tour. The only draw back was not enough time to enjoy all the sights.”

- Location and the beds were fabulous.
- The halls were dingy, not a 3 star hotel, parking was $43 for one night.
“This was not a 3 star hotel. The lobby had short ceilings and seemed cramped, they only had two elevators and it took forever, the halls were dingy, the room was no better than a nice Comfort Inn. The location is great, parking is another matter. It cost $43 to park 1 day in the hotel garage or $13 an hour. That seems crazy. For a 3 Star hotel they nickel and dime you (internet $13, room service $20+ for basic entree). If you park in the neighborhood South about 3 blocks then you wont feel taken advantage of for the parking. Staff was very nice. Allowed early check in, always a plus.”

“This place is located in the heart of the greatest part of San Francisco - North Beach and the Wharf. It is surrounded by glorious restaurants and fun tourist attractions, not to mention the view down at the waterfront. It's posh and the parking is outrageously expensive. So is the buffet breakfast, which my son got sick from.”

- Within walking distance to a lot of attractions (Warf/Golden Gate Park).
- $40 plus to park each night.
“Checked in (after paying $43 to park) and had bellman bring luggage to room. He unloaded all the bags, got ice and even offered to go to the liquor store for us! Room was average but clean. Beds were great. 2 blocks from the Warf. Stay away from the restaurants in the area, they stink. Ask a local where to go. Lot's of great dining but you have to know where to find it.”

- The rooms had many unexpected luxuries.
- There is no view door to height restriction.
“The room was very nice. The bed was like a cloud with luxurious linens and lots of pillows. The toiletries were bath & body works. The in room coffee was Starbucks. There was a hair dryer, iron, iPod docking station, WiFi ports, etc., etc. Anything you could have asked for in a perfect location to the wharf and various bus/cable lines. The staff was very helpful and cheery. Very well appointed and clean for the extreme value. Couldn't have been happier.”

- Given a room with handicap accommodations; our request to for a different room was declined by hotel staff.
“Overall the hotel and location were lovely. Unfortunately we were put in a room with handicap accommodations which are not all too comfortable for the average person (toilet too high, support rails in washroom and shower, bar in closet too low to hang dress and slacks.)”

- The employees at the cafe and bar were much more friendly then the front desk.
- We had to wait for the third room, since it was not available at the time we got there and still they ended up given us another room.
“We had to wait to for a room that was reserved for us and still did not get the room so they put us in another room which should have been done in the first place not three hrs later. No call or offer to be put in another room just we have to wait, period. We had to make all the contact and no happy at all about it. We even had to put our entire luggage in our car ourselves and no help from the bell hops (not good).”

- The bed was the most comfortable of any hotel bed Ive ever slept on.
- Noisy, could hear the elevator and people next door.
“Very convenient location. My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in San Francisco, much in thanks to this hotel. Everything we wanted to do was right around it, or within a 5 minute drive. And the bed was incredible. We sat on it and woke up 2 hours later!”

- The bed was extremely comfortable and soft!
- Too much street noise, Harleys all the time with loud noise.
“If I was to stay at Fisherman's Wharf again, it definitely would not be this hotel. The outside rooms are literally next to the street with only the sidewalk separating them. There were Harleys going by all the time revving up their motors as loud as they could (there was a stoplight on the corner where I was). Parking is a travesty at $43.00 a night plus $6.00 tax. Plus a tip for the valet person. There should be a law against price gouging for parking at the Wharf Hotels. When checking in, the staff person who helped me was indifferent and not very friendly. However, on checking out, I was greeted with friendliness.”
