• Location, free parking, updated bathroom and proximity to bus lines.
• Room was small and continental breakfast was also disappointing.

“Not bad, but everything was cramped. This Travelodge was a step up from others on Lombard street and I appreciated the free parking. The room and layout was almost exactly the same as that of the motel we'd stayed in San Luis Obispo for about the same price, except that the inn had a wonderful breakfast spread, while the Travelodge offered a couple of packets of instant oatmeal, stale supermarket pastries, cereal, bags of tea and coffee. Very disappointing.”

• The bed was great. Great location.
• The parking spaces are very limited.

“The room was very clean and cozy. A perfect location even though there was not enough parking spaces you could always park in the streets.”

• This hotel is close to the Exploratorium which is great for kids.
• Small parking lot.

“This hotel worked well for our short stay. It is located close to many sight seeing locations. If sightseeing is what you want to do without going to far this hotel will do.”

• The price.
• Not as conveniently located as I would have liked.

“Basically, you get what you pay for. The room was very small and clean. It has a hair dryer but no iron and a small closet space. Internet was free. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Free parking is limited to the spaces available. Short walk to the Presidio but for just about everything else you needed your car. Next time I think I will pay more to get more but if you are on a budget this is a very good choice.”

• The room was way to expensive for its size and cleanliness.

“This hotel was in a good area, but the parking was horrible, the hotel room was way too small. The bathrooms could have been a whole lot cleaner. The amount of money that I paid for this room for one night was so ridiculous. I will never do it again in San Francisco, that is for sure.”

• I like that it was the perfect location.
• I did not like how small the room was.

“I was pleased with the location of the Travelodge. It was okay to stay there for just one night. I would not recommend staying there for a long period of time. For the price of the room I do not think it was worth it. I also had a problem with the staff. In the front office the check in time shows as 3pm and check out at 11am. We were packing around 11am, and at 11:02am we received a call asking if we would be staying another night and if not that check out was 11am. I had to take my itinerary with me to check so I was not to be charged another night.”

• Very helpful staff.
• Parking could be better, but it is san Francisco.

“Good value, closest to palace of fine arts and park presidio that you will find. Great staff! Overall, very pleased with our stay.”

• It served the purpose and was very nice to stay.
• All was OK.

“The very good thing was that I had parking space and it was easy to find. It is not in the busiest part of San Francisco Ver well taken care of and the price was right. Internet is offered free of charge. (works slow but ok) I will go there again on my next trip!”

• It was a perfect location near our daughter's townhouse.
• We wish that we could have stayed longer.

“The staff was VERY friendly and helpful. We loved that we could park at the hotel and that it was so close to our daughter's home. We will definitely be back. Thanks.”

• Clean, Internet service in the room.
• No business office for fax, printing, copies.

“Clean, comfy. ok for leisure travel. not necessarily the best for business trips. good proximity to things we wanted to see in the city. not enough parking spaces, though.”

• They were friendly and I felt safe.
• The room, especially the bathroom, needs work.

“I felt OK about our visit. After reading a number of reviews talking about safety issues I was glad to feel OK about this one. It needs some work in the bathroom, but it was reasonably clean. The bed was comfortable.”

• Good location, beautiful community around hotel.
• Manager changed my room to another without asking me.

“It was pretty good. I am satisfied with this. Wireless internet connection was there. Beautiful presidio community was near.”

• Small room, key didn't work throughout stay, very noisy neighbors, semi comfortable beds, uncomfortable accommodations.

“I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I had picked it for it is location for my stay and that is all it had going for it. For the money there are many, many other fine hotels in the City to choose from.”
