• Awesome breakfast, lobby was clean, staff was friendly.
• No internet, no hot tub, only a Murphy bed - not comfortable, no sofa-bed as promised.

“The room was clean. The staff was apologetic about NO internet and NO hot tub, but they were features I was looking forward to; I needed the internet for work connections. This hotel would not be good for couples who need a comfy bed, fine for a single traveler who wanted to stay one night. Close to Bellies Fair Mall. The breakfast was the one redeeming feature.”

• I liked the location.
• I did not like that praline had put me in a studio rm.

“The hotel is in a convenient location, close to bellies fair, there are allot of stairs so be prepared to climb them, the restaurant is not that good and only offers cold breakfasts during peak breakfast hours. The staff are not as through as you would expect for room cleaning but the room was decent.”

• Location.
• Had a certain musky smell to room.

“Given a room with a Murphy bed. Phoned in the morning to ask for two beds as staying with my sister. Said they would get back to me. No one did all day. When I phoned later on told rudely it wasnt her fault, I asked nicely. Also when check-in never told that the whirlpool was under repairs, after a long day of shopping thought we could go there, not happy to find out not working. Location was excellent for shopping and breakfast was a bonus. Wouldn't go out of my way to go there again.”

• Room provided was excellent.
• No elevators, stairs are difficult for those with knee problems; of which I am one.

“Nice hotel, very attractive but not for seniors or those who have difficulty walking. Staff was unconcerned upon our arrival and made no attempt to provide rooms on level ground. It is obvious to anyone with half a brain that I had difficulty walking and still she gave us a room that required a climb up two flights of stairs outdoors. There was no saving and no reason for me to ever book again.”

“Older hotel that has weird top floor (4th). There is no elevator to it, just a narrow staircase. Clean but had that 'old folks home' smell.”

• Friendly staff.
• There is no elevator, stair are outside in the rain. My room only had a Murphy bed which was too soft.

“I would not stay in this hotel again due to the elevator issue.”

• Gardens, hanging flower baskets, inviting lobby, pool, convenient location, helpful staff, quiet at night, excellent continental breakfast included.
• No elevator.

“Quiet (ask for building a) overnight stay. Beautiful well kept grounds. Helpful staff. Excellent continental breakfast included. Inviting well equipped room.”

• Attractive buildings and clean rooms.
• Too much noise from hallway and neighboring rooms, noisy refrigerator that woke us up repeatedly.

• Excellent breakfast, welcoming staff, comfortable bedroom, spacious bathroom, and pool/hot tub facilities!

“Unexpectedly wonderful find: hot coffee and apples welcomed us, pool/hot tub facilities were great, continental buffet breakfast was a definite bonus because it was good food and great service. Staff was all-around hospitable and courteous. In larger complex with restaurants, stores, very convenient. Will definitely stay there again and tell others to do so, too!”

• Gave passes to athletic club since pool onsite was closed.
• Size of room for amount I paid.

“It was listed as queen bed, queen Murphy bed. I took this to mean there were 2 queen beds (1 regular and 1 Murphy bed) so when my family of 4 got to the room and there was only 1 queen bed, we realized there were not enough beds to go around. The hotel kindly provided roll away beds for our two children. However, the room was not big enough for the Murphy bed and two roll always. Our children had to sleep together in one roll away bed. It was not what we were hoping for after traveling and playing all day.”

• Large, clean rooms. Close to mall and other shops.
• Too close to the freeway. Heard trucks all night long

“This hotel was very clean and had large rooms. Great deal for the price. However, the hotel is on right off interstate 5 and we heard trucks going up the incline of the freeway all night long. This would most likely not be a problem if you requested a room in Building A.”

• Great breakfast.
• Ceiling leaked, moved 2 of us to another room, clothes got wet from leek, manager VERY RUDE! Did not want to compensate us for the inconvenience.

“I thought the customer was always right!! The manager was insulting to me, she even had the nerve to tell me that I was in bad taste to be arguing with her staff in the lobby ( which no one was in). Her staff at the front desk was just as rude and insulting. I had to sit in her office and argue with her for 15 minutes to get her to give us some compensation for having to change rooms in the middle of the night and our freshly ironed clothes getting soaked. She didn't even offer to clean our clothes for us because she said it was our fault for putting them on the bed where the ceiling may leek. I have never had such a rude experience before at a hotel, and I used to work at one!”
