• This hotel gave me a small refrigerator when they knew I was a diabetic.

• Good recommendation for dinner; I felt safe coming in at 10 pm.
• Public area was like a university dorm; that's OK but not special.

“Great hotel for the exploring traveler just passing through as I was. Surrounded by good restaurants and 10 minutes from the beautiful Columbia river. 5 minutes from the airport. This new facility is staffed by excellent people who added to my experience with their good service. I would definitely book a stay with them again.”

• Clean and friendly.
• We asked for an 8:00 shuttle it left without our knowledge. Would have liked a call that it was there.

“Rooms were clean and roomy. Work out room located in a convenient locate on bottom floor. Would like a little different breakfast choice but it was good.”

• Liked having fitness, pool and hot tub available.
• The breakfast food was limited. Would be nice to have more variety in hot items (ex. hard boiled egg/fried egg).

• I look for cleanliness and the type of sheets and blankets used on the beds and your hotel did a good job with this.
• Bathroom shower tiling needed a little repairing.

• Paying $5 per day for parking, but still better than parking at airport.

• The hotel staff were extremely nice and polite. It was clean and well kept. Great location if you have things to do at the airport. I loved it.
• I did not like that they charge almost $8- $12 for a pay per view movie and there is not DVD player so we couldn't buy the movie and watch it.

• The staff was amazing.
• Pool and hot tub was outside.

“I appreciated the staff they were very helpful. They made our stay in Portland a 100% better. The beds were comfy and the tubs were clean which overall is my biggest pet-peeve.”

“The hotel exceeded my expectations; however, I was really disappointed to discover that the hotel charged an extra fee for long-term parking. But once my bid was accepted I was locked into this hotel and had to change my plans.”

• I had to drive 2.5 hours in heavy traffic to get to it, and checking in was speedy. Also I was able to park my car for park and fly.

“I had so little time to enjoy the perks of the hotel, but check in was easy and the hotel was so convenient to the airport. That is
all that I wanted.”

• Location was great. Hotel was clean.
• The hotel offers the bare minimum.

“Overall the hotel served my purposes. I needed a cheap hotel room last minute. The hotel was clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable. I would not recommend this hotel for extended stays or vacation purposes, but if you need a clean, comfortable room for just a night or two this would be fine.”

• The hotel met our expectations for the value.
• Could overhear some noise from the other rooms (thin walls), but not too bad.

“The hotel exceeded our expectations. The room was relatively big with a nice television. The bathroom was well laid-out, clean and new. We arrived very late due to a flight delay but had no trouble checking in.”

• The staff was very helpful and friendly. Everyone I dealt with exceeded expectations.
• I was pleased with this hotel in every way.

“The Fairfield Inn PDX was a great experience. It was the last hotel we stayed in for our trip and by far, our favorite. The whole hotel is non smoking and pet free. The room was crisp and clean. The breakfast was called continental, but had a good variety both hot and cold. The pool was great for kids. The shuttle to the airport was helpful and convenient. Above all, the staff was welcoming and helpful. After a long trip, they almost made me want to stay another day.”

• It was difficult to locate. Had to stop and ask for directions at a competing hotel!

• Very clean, close to shopping and restaurants. Very friendly people!
• Wish, I had known that the pool was out side and not open yet. One of the reasons we were in a hotel was to swim. Wish the TV had the Disney channel.

“This clean and friendly hotel is close to the airport with none of the air port noise. The Fairview is located close to restaurants and shopping.”

• Location, clean, quiet, breakfast bar.
• Staff was indifferent towards guests.

“The hotel in its self was clean and they had a great free breakfast. The staff was there to just get the job done. On one elevator ride, one of the staff members was coming out with a roll away bed and seemed annoyed that we were waiting to get on, she brushed past us with the bed without a word. There was also personal conversations between the staff that we would have rather not have heard.”
