• Easy to locate, could see my car from my room window.
• Very noisy area and surrounding guests, and uncomfortable bed.

“I have stayed in several hotels in Portland. I would definitely suggest going to the Clarion instead of here. I know it is an airport hotel, so I should expect some noise, but I was woken at 2 am once by a plane and a train going by. Though it's not necessarily the hotel's fault, our neighbors were very noisy, you can hear doors slam and toilets flush next door. The sheets were really rough, and the bed wasn't the best. The breakfast offered was nice, but the room it is served in is way too small, and it was really hot and stuffy in there. The staff was nice, but I would never stay here again.”

• Convenience to the hotel where I met the tour operator.
• They gave me a smoking room when I specifically asked for a non-smoking room.

“Other than being in a smoking room, this hotel was adequate. I should have stayed in the Soldier Pony hotel right next door for a little bit money more since it was a lot nicer overall than the Comfort Inn.”

• Room was clean and quiet.
• The bed was really hard.

“The hotel was fine, but the bed was so hard I barely slept and I woke up feeling stiff and achy the next morning. When I went down for continental breakfast, there were few options because many items hadn't been restocked. But it's fine for a cheap place to sleep on the road.”

• The best bed I have had at a hotel! The room was plenty big enough for 3 scrap bookers!
• No restaurant.

“We were pleasantly surprised how nice the room looked and how large it was. The beds were the best we have slept on in any hotel! better than home! Clean, Quiet and spacious room! We had plenty of room for 3 scrap bookers and a card table to spread out! 3 nights of well rested sleep! Only negative was that although it was under 10 minutes from the convention center we had to navigate there by 3 different interstates. (Keep your directions handy!) lastly, would have been so nice to have room service available. highly recommend staying here!”

• Lobby computer for internet access didn't work.

“I liked the red lion inns and suites. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. The staff was friendly at the front desk, willing to give directions and restaurant advice. The continental breakfast was adequate for those without special dietary needs. Access to freeway was good. All in all a very good experience here.”

• I loved the friendly staff. The desk associates went out of their way to make our stay wonderful.
• The room was very out-dated and the mattresses were very old and uncomfortable.

“The staff was worth coming back to this hotel again. They offered and arranged the breakfast early based on our flight the next day, which was very expected and nice of them to do. Also, they arranged transportation that was very prompt. The hotel room itself was uncomfortable to stay in due to the old furnishings.”

• At ck in, staff was on phone w peers call, then with pizza man before helping us.

“Our visit was a real quiet one. Hotel met all of our expectations, except for the long wait for the ck in, because of the staff person dealing with her own matters. Hotel was exceptionally clean, we picked up several brochures from the area, and I am sure we will be back again.”

• They put my family in a smoking room.

“I reserved a non-smoking room, but they put us in a smoking room. They said my room was booked by the third party, and they can change the room type as needed. It is outrageous! The room was so stink that I can barely breathe. It was middle night when my family and I arrived at the hotel. It was icy and snow outside, otherwise I would have left the hotel for another one. My family spent a night in a stink room. ”

• Staff was very friendly and very accommodating. Helpful in recommending a place to dine.
• Shower head leaked and vent cover of fan was coming off.

“Due to friendly staff and location and price this would be a place I would stay again. If maintenance issues are addressed it is just fine for a business traveler. Map directions could be better.”

• The beds were very hard and uncomfortable.

“Hotel is conveniently located to 205, Vancouver, it technical institute. Guest rooms were very large. They served a very nice continental breakfast buffet and kept it fully stocked through the breakfast hour. The offering of free newspapers and the TV in room were great additions.”

“Great location from the airport. Neighborhood appears to be a little "rough". Bed in my room was in need of replacement. A/C was ice cold which seems to be hard to find these days. Great desk staff. Very helpful.”

• This motel is clean, plain, and comfortable. Big rooms, no frills.
• The hotel is close to the airport, but it's a little tricky to find. Get directions.

“This hotel is perfect if you're coming in on a late flight or leaving early in the a.m. because it's plain, clean, and comfortable. It's not one of those fleabag places on 102nd, but it's not the Marriott, either. So if you're just looking for a room to sleep in and a shower and breakfast in the morning, this place is perfect.”

• Too hard to find even though close to airport.

“The stay was all that I needed for the work I had to do. I will say the rooms were quite larger than expected and I had an unexpected appointment that I had to do in my hotel room! But there was plenty of space to set up a table and extra smaller tables for me to use! I was impressed.”

• Daytime Desk clerk rude.

“Spacious room, great soap and shampoo (Bath & Body Works). Night shift clerk gave excellent customer service. Daytime shift clerk was unfriendly and rude. Didn't turn clocks back for Daylight Savings so missed our flight. Daytime clerk was extremely unsympathetic. (A little empathy would have gone a long way! lol) Overall, a great value for the money - enjoyed the hotel and amenities.”

“Nice suite with microwave and fridge--quite clean. Unpleasant odor in hallway. loved the Bath & Body Works soap and shampoo! I arrived at 2:30 am, after a red-eye flight, and left at 8, so I didn't spend a lot of time here. It suited my needs well.”

• Parking lot is very full. But it was OK.
