• The location was easy to get to.
• No refridgerator in the room.

“My son and I both found the room very nice. It was very early when the maid service came knocking, way before check out. The on site dining hours were poor. The TV worked but there were more sports and shopping channels than entertainment.”

• Lack of knowledgeable staff at front desk.

“This hotel did not honor my request for two queen beds. The staff at the front desk was not very helpful or knowledgeable, and seems to be overworked. The manager was unavailable on two occasions when I asked to speak to him/her. When I visited this hotel a second time during my vacation, they still did not honor my request for two queen beds even though they assured me at the front desk on my first stay that I would have a room with two queen beds for the second part of my stay.”

“Very friendly for this family traveling with a 4 and 6 year old. Indoor pool and breakfast buffet made it easy to entertain the kids. Accomodated our request for an in-room fridge for medical prescriptions. Close to shopping center and the very fun North Clackamas Aquatic Park.”

• It was clean, convenient & met our needs.
• $7.00 for a bowl of oatmeal and a cup of coffee seems extreme.

• Convenient location close to Blackamoors Town Center Mall & I-205.
• No easy access at rear of building, when front parking lot is full.

“A comfortable hotel, with a friendly staff. However, they do lack on some amenities that most travelers would like to see. Most rooms are not equipped with a studio refrigerator, and getting a micro wave brought in is even tougher to come by. Probably with an on site restaurant they do not feel the need for these items. But a family weekending here, a micro/frig comes in handy for snacks & leftovers.”

“This one was short on amenities such as a hospitality area, no free coffee or cookies in the lobby area. Though I am not a smoker, my traveling partner was. It was disturbing to find out that a smoking room was not available and that the adjoining restaurant/bar was smoke-free. The "designated" smoking area was poorly marked and forced guests to walk almost the rear of the property. I don't plan on taking up smoking and I appreciate smoke-free environments. However, the rather unfriendly tone the property evoked towards smokers comes across clearly. In the future I will always check for available amenities for both smokers and non-smokers alike before reserving a hotel.”

“This room exceeded my expectations for the price. I recently stayed in a Quality Inn that was $20 more than I paid for The Marriott and nothing worked the pool heater was broken the sauna was broken the exercise room was out of order AND they charged my card twice!”

• I appreciated the fact that they had an Ethernet cable in the desk drawer for my use.

• The staff scores a 10 they were all proof and pleasant.
• The hotel felt "cheap" you could hear talking, TVs, the elevator etc.

• Every room came with a sofa sleeper.
• The parking lot fills up quickly, making it difficult to enter the hotel at the lobby entrance.

“This is a very clean hotel. The friendly staff seems eager to please, and appear to enjoy their jobs. The maid had our room clean early in the afternoon. This hotel is located a block away from a large shopping center, and close to major highways and interstates.”

• The smell of chlorine from the pool was nauseating in the lobby and elsewhere.

“Our room was not cleaned until 3:00 each day. This was much too late. The odor of chlorine was nauseating in the lobby and elevators. The guest were charged much too much for what they receive. Others were complaining as well.”

• Staff was exceptionally attentive and responsive.
• Sofa bed was not comfortable.

“Great location next to freeway and Clackamas mall with lots of family friendly restaurants nearby. Parking was easy and free. Room was large with two queens and a sofa bed (wasn't comfortable). Bathroom had only one sink and there were signs of mildew on inside of shower curtain. Overall, excellent stay and would highly recommend this hotel.”

• If you were paying the rack rate you'd be paying too much. Room heater/air conditioner a little noisy.

“This hotel was wonderful. It was touted as a 2 1/2 stars on the website. I was pleasantly surprised. It was better than the Hilton which was rated as 3 stars in salt lake city! The bed was comfy, the staff friendly, the rooms clean. I really enjoyed my stay.”

“It was upsetting that they would not accommodate the request for two queen beds. I realize that it says in the terms that it will be a king bed. They would not even budge, even on the day of arrival. It was clear that the hotel was not even close to being full. Oh, and the fire alarm going of several times in the middle of the night was a little irritating. Obviously they could not get the problem handled!”

“I didn't like the No-Access hours for the pool and exercise areas. If someone has a room-key, they should be able to swim or exercise anytime day or night. The way it's set up it pretty much does not allow use during hours that I might be interested. Early morning or late evening.”

“Whoever rated this hotel as 3+ must not have ever stayed there. I found the staff disinterested in answering questions. The girl at the front desk told me she "had no idea" how much movies cost. The room clocks were all set to the wrong time, and the pool/spa area were occupied 100% of their open hours with a junior high basketball team that hung out there while not at thinner games.”
