• Incredible room and right on the street car. Very convenient.
• Room was very dry, needs a humidifier.

• Staff were very friendly and the breakfast was great.
• It's too far from downtown and appeals more to families. It's not very sophisticated.

“Staff were very helpful and friendly, it's clean and comfortable, and it's an all-suite hotel. It probably appeals more to families/vacationers rather than those on business or independent travelers. For example, expect to see families in the elevator in bare feet and towels, straight from the pool. This gives you some indication of the kind of hotel it is. Also, it's right next to a freeway/bridge so beware of rooms on the river side. A very good buffet breakfast is included, though, but if you're looking for a downtown/city experience, try elsewhere.”

• Very spacious room and free internet.
• The bed was pretty terrible - it was saggy and should be replaced. $20 for parking is absurd given the location.

“Overall I very much enjoyed my stay here. As a Residence Inn, the room had a small kitchen in it, which I found very useful. There is internet in the rooms and its free. I did not appreciate having to spend $20 per night for parking since the hotel is not located downtown at all(and a car is sort of essential to getting around this area). Also the beds could really use an upgrade.”

• Great location, friendly and helpful staff, good choices at breakfast.
• Windows that don't open, drafty air conditioning.

“Except for not being able to open the windows for fresh air, this was a great place to stay. The common spaces are comfortable and nicely appointed. The staff was friendly and helpful. The studio room was spacious and well furnished. The breakfast offerings were abundant and varied.”

• Loved the breakfast, the room was very clean and pleasingly decorated.

“I loved the family atmosphere. Even though my husband and I went there to get away from the kids for a weekend, it was a pleasant and comfortable feeling with kids, parents and grandparents all enjoying themselves.The room met all expectations and if we had stayed longer we would definitely have appreciated the kitchenette even more.”

• Room was very accommodating.
• Parking is expensive even for being somewhat away from downtown.

“Got a great price on Priceline, wanted something closer to the airport, but those hotels were generally higher priced. Downtown area has better deals, if you don't have a vehicle. If you have a vehicle or are traveling/business pay more for the hotel and stay closer the airport.”

• Very good value for the amount spent - excellent accommodations.
• $21.00 a day to park.

“Nothing about the hotel was lacking with the exception of $21.00 a day to park, we were very fortunate and able to utilize street parking throughout our stay - plugging the meter was a bit annoying but was way cheaper than the parking garage for the hotel.”

• Great beds, good desk space and plenty of plugs.
• No onsite restaurant, though they do provide a breakfast. $21 parking fee.

“This is a nicely appointed residence inn. The location is out of the way, about as far as you could be from the downtown core. While the hotel sits right beside freeways it is very well insulated and we never were bothered by traffic noise. The complementary breakfast buffet is huge with many choices and varies daily. Eating breakfast here helped to make up for the overly high $21 parking fee. We didn't check out the pool, or if there is one.”

• The room was spacious and clean. Staff was very helpful. Right on the streetcar line.
• Had to pay $21 for parking in the hotel lot. We could hear noise from the room above us for a short while.

“We loved being able to walk outside and catch the streetcar to downtown Portland. The room had a small kitchen which was great for a quick meal on the go. I highly recommend this hotel.”

• It was right on the Columbia River.
• It was extremely difficult to find; staff gave poor directions.

“The hotel was great once we found it. My group got lost (bad mapquest directions), so we called the hotel for directions. Twice. The first staff member gave us directions that were incorrect (or difficult for visitors to follow), and the second person gave us better directions, but we still couldn't find the hotel. Upon retracing our steps for the third time, we stumbled upon the correct road.”

• The fridge and kitchen area with all the supplies.
• Not close to downtown center or the public transportation.

“The overall hotel was nice and some staff seemed a little unwarm by their faces and check in was long due to a trainee left to check us in on her own. It was difficult to find on a map and we got lost a few times. The cab fare to the aiport was Ok, would rather have took the max light rail for $2.30 but it was not even close to it.”

• The breakfast was awesome with lots of selections and all fresh and very good.
• Parking is expensive at 21 dollars.

“The property should have a higher Star level than the 2.5 it has. It doesn't have any restaurants, but the breakfast area is very very good. There is even a large screen LCD screen to watch the news while eating breakfast.
Overall a very good stay.”

• The surprise $21.00 parking fee.

“We had a little trouble locating the hotel from the Freeway exit. We were delighted. It was located on the riverfront with easy access to restaurants and shopping. The free transportation from the hotel to the auditorium was so appreciated as it saved us from having to drive and find parking to a downtown event. The staff was helpful and gave us the feeling that they liked their jobs that they weren't there just to get a paycheck. The morning breakfast was extensive and well prepared.”
