• Nice linens.
• Disdainful staff. Sent me on long walk in the rain to a restaurant that does not admit under 18 after 5 pm. I was traveling with a 13 and 15 year.

“Rooms were nicely decorated, very nice linens, great view of the city. The room was quite crowded and only had double beds, not queen sized. There was a non disclosed 10$ per day fee to use the gym, pool was free. Great location. Parking was hard to locate, but was well lit and safe. Concierge was a jerk. The concierge desk was often not manned. I will not stay at this Hilton again, I was treated as if they were doing me a favor.”

• The lobby was beautiful.
• The gym didn't open until 8am on the weekend.

• Clean and upscale. Nice amenities, and a great location.

“This hotel is upscale and in a fabulous location in downtown Portland. The room was very comfortable and had nice amenities such as Crabtree and Evelyn bath products. I will definitely use Priceline to stay here again within the next month.”

“Very disappointing for a Hilton. Showers that back up, extremely small and outdated rooms, even street noise from the 20th floor. No free parking, Internet, microwave or refrigerator, there wouldn't be room for those anyway. Nice location in Downtown. You can park for half the price in a parking garage just around the corner.”

• Cleanliness and furnishings.
• No public laundry room.

“The elegant lobby reminds one of an executive suite from years back. Its public areas were tastefully furnished, inviting and not pretentious at all. My room had a king bed and wasted no space. I had initial difficulty getting Internet access, but phone support was helpful.”

• Corner room was beautiful.
• The fact it was handicapped the shower was super messy!

“The hotel was awesome the front desk clerks were very helpful and nice. The room was amazing with the corner view. We had perfect weather. And all that jazz. It was conveniently located close to the mall and restaurants that we walked pretty much wherever we wanted only complaint is the room we got was handicapped, we didn't think it was a problem until we had to shower and we definitely got water all over the place as well as could not figure out where to put the shower head because it was getting water all over the place on one side and then it was too short for us on the other.”

• They over booked the hotel and it was over flowing with kids on a Japanese Comic convention we could not even use the elevator as it was full of kids.

• Location.

“We got the room next to the service elevator on the lowest floor for handicap people with seperate beds. It was an aniversary trip and we were told they were oversold and would not change our room. They did give us some chocolate covered strawberries and some apple juice but not bottle opener for the Sparkling apple drink.”

• The location for walking around Portland couldn't be beat!

• The location was good, the room was clean and well-appointed.
• The A/C was tied to a motion sensor which would turn off while we slept.

“The hotel was perfectly adequate for a weekend getaway. The room was well-appointed with a flat screen TV, modern bathroom, comfortable bed, and adequate space. The staff members were friendly and helpful. Overall we had a great experience at this hotel. Our only complaint was that the room A/C was tied to a motion sensor. Not only would it turn off if you left the room, but it turned off at night while we slept, allowing the room to get uncomfortably warm. I had to wake up and get out of bed before the motion sensor would trip.”

“This hotel has a great location. It's right in the heart of downtown. You can easily catch the light rail to other place and airport which is a plus. Shopping districts are right next to the hotel. Staffs are very friendly.”

“This hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff was friendly, the older bellman was extremely pleasant and helpful. The city view from the 22nd floor was beautiful. Nice clean rooms. Great price from priceline.”

“Good location but that's about it. Had a very bad experience with valet parking attendant and his manager. The room doors automatically slam shut so all night long the walls and beds are shaking due to slamming doors.”

• The location was perfect, walking distance to all the events I had planned for the evening.
• Our room was fairly close to the ice machine, and I could hear it all night.

“It was perfect for the money. Although the room was little small, it was fine for the 2 of us. The bed was very comfortable and the view was nice. Withing walking distance of many different restaurants and performing arts.”

• Would not give us a room with king size bed even though available.

“The location was great. However the staff (including the manager) would not give my wife and I a room with a king size bed even though one was available. Instead we spent our romantic weekend away sleeping in separate double beds it was quite annoying.”

“Appreciated that the pool had been converted to a salt water pool. Disappointed that the workout facilities cost $10 a day. Although this is quite minimal and very silly, the TV remote was quite awful. Bed and linens were fabulous!”

• Started on fire, very rude security person, evacuated to another facility.

“The hotel itself was fine, there was a fire in the laundry facility which caused us to be evacuated for almost an hour. A security person was very rude during the evacuation. not likely to stay there again.”
