“The perfect accommodation for my son and I while we were in town for a tournament. We appreciated the studio-style room, the free
Wi-Fi, and especially the free continental breakfast each morning, which included oatmeal, eggs, sausage, potatoes, as well as the usual yogurt, fruit, and cereal.”

• Great hot breakfast, free internet, great staff.
• Mattress could be a bit better, but I enjoyed my whole experience, would return again.

“This is an older motel that has been moderately maintained. It was nice that it had a pull-out bed in the sofa because the other bed was a full size or the smallest queen I have ever seen! It had a full furnished kitchen but we did not make use of it other than the refrigerator and microwave.

• I got there early and he told me that 4:30 was check in time but he checked me in anyway.
• Really wasn't anything I didn't like.

• Like most older Residence Inn properties, this one could use a little more maintenance but it's not bad.

• Great value-fireplace such a nice touch. Clean and comfy.
• Spa not open-would be nice to access it year round. Upgraded TV would be nice since need to see from bed which is far away.

“Extremely comfortable roomy and clean. Staff is friendly and it is easy to get work done. Would be comfortable staying there for extended stay. The beds are comfortable and one can always count on consistency of chain in general. It would be nice to have use of hot tub yr round to relax, but they were working on repair of a small one. Rooms probably ready for an update but definitely worth the price.”

• Pleasant, comfortable, good amenities (full kitchen, large work-out room), nice touches (real fireplace & free microwave popcorn), overall very nice.
• Shuttle service to the closest rail transit center would have been nice.

The large rooms with full kitchen, working fireplace, and other amenities such as a good sized work-out facility and attention to nice gardens along the town house-like set-up, makes this a lovely place. This would be my first choice anytime over the large, high-rise hotels also available in the area.”

• Having a suite with Kitchen, Breakfast was great, 4 room Cottages were nice.
• Upstairs neighbor, would request second floor next time.

“They didn't have suitcase stands. Our room was pleasant, upstairs neighbor was noisy, I think due to the construction of the floor, it squeaked as he walked. Breakfast was better than most. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.”

“The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very nice although I thought the bed was a little uncomfortable. The breakfast buffet was very good and we also enjoyed the evening reception. I would have liked an indoor pool for the kids. Overall we would definitely stay here again.”

• Clean, quiet, accessible from freeway, easy check in, well lit parking near room.
• Had to haul my heavy suitcase up stairs, there was no easy way to get to the door on wheels.

“Spacious, clean, well lit, corner unit on first floor made it easy to get to and out of. Would definitely stay there again if I have occasion to travel through that area on business again.”

• While raining, large water drops dripped from 2nd floor right onto us whenever going in and out. Fireplace smoky at beginning.

• Public areas very inviting (but clean and staff is great). No spa available in winter.

“Were able to stay three nights for the weekend as house repairs going on. Internet access free and breakfast. Comfy bed and spacious rooms with kitchen and fireplace. So much better than other hotels in this category. Were able to grocery shop at trader Joe's across the street so no extra expense. Enjoyed fireplace on cold weekend. Great!”

• The hotel breakfast, free internet, and daily paper were the unexpected great things.
• The bed was small, bed linens were cheap, and if you can hear the above room walking.

“Hotel was good value for the money. The free items: breakfast and internet saved us lots of time. The hotel rooms can use an update especially the cheap bed linens. I have stayed at the Crowne Plaza and Hilton Garden Inn which are also 2.5 stars within 2 minutes of Residence Inn and they have much nicer rooms.”

• Large rooms that was great for our family and a fabulous buffet breakfast.
• Upstairs neighbors returned back to the hotel at 2am and didn't go to sleep until 5. This kept our family up.

“A great place to stay with a family or even for a romantic evening. There was a large room with a fireplace, sofa sleeper and comfortable queen bed. The breakfast was fantastic and the staff helpful. Our only complaint was the upstairs guests came back around 2am and we could hear every movement and noise on the bottom floor. If you can, request the second floor. Other than this complaint it was by far the best family hotel we have stayed at.”

“Residence Inn's provide a great experience. Full kitchen, fireplace, lots of room to unwind and relax. They provide full kitchen utensils for cooking. Location is perfect. Easy access to major highways. It would be nice to have an indoor pool. Didn't checkout the fitness center, but there is one on site. Internet access is free, but it's wired in the rooms.”

• The facility was wonderful. Tennis court, basketball court, great and free breakfast and dinner. Would even pick up groceries.
• Bed was not the most comfortable.

• Staff could have been friendlier. Non smoking room was Smokey.

“Breakfast was incredible and the grounds, location and room felt like a resort hotel. My only complaints are that we had a non-smoking room that clearly had been a smoking room previously. Thus, it smelled nasty. When I brought it to the attention of the front desk they were not very friendly and did not offer a solution.”

• Stale odor in room. Needs a little cleanup, paint up, fix up.

“Great location for this property and a nice breakfast bar. Internet is wired in the room and the property is becoming a bit dated. Could use a little more aggressive maintenance (note: this hotel isn't bad). Nonsmoking room reeked of smoke in curtains and overall musty odor. Moved to another room that was ok. A little mold around tub. You can take my comments with the grain of salt that I believe all hotels should be on as good shape as they were the day they opened as the money received from guests should, in part, be used for maintenance. This would have been a great place 15 years ago and could escalate from good to "very good" with more aggressive maintenance and general upkeep of the property. Don't read this as "don't stay here--it's bad" but also bear in mind that some newer properties are nicer.”

• Non-smoking hotel, but room smelled like smoke.

“We had a wonderful stay. The staff was very nice and the hot breakfast buffet was a great bonus. Great location! The proximity to shopping in both lake Oswego and at Washington square was fabulous and the hotel is also near some great restaurant chains (apple bees, olive grade). Additionally, we enjoyed the full kitchen and had we stayed longer would have ventured to the nearby trader Joes to stock it.”
