“This hotel does not have a room with 2 queens an a sleeper sofa. So the kind folks at the desk gave us a roll away at no charge. Thanks staff.”

• It was clean, fairly quiet, good breakfast included.
• We were given a smoking room.

“It is a clean, adequate hotel. Nice indoor pool, good continental breakfast, very comfortable beds. Close to freeway and easy to find. Staff was nice, but had to put us in smoking room. They said they were very full, but hotel was pretty quiet anyway.”

• Nice bed and very quiet!
• Pets allowed. Dog barked because was left in room.

• We liked the complimentary breakfast bar.
• Way too loud! Thin walls, loud traffic, loud pipes, no sleep!

“The hotel had great staff and a great complimentary breakfast bar. The room was acceptable and the beds were comfortable enough. However, it was so noisy. The walls were paper thin and you could hear everything. The noise of the traffic, the pipes in the walls and the icemaker running all night (next to our room) kept us awake most of the night!”

• Noisy, dirty, very poor exercise facility, so-so cont. breakfast.

“This is not a 2.5 star hotel, and I am being generous in giving it 1 star, but there is nothing lower. The common areas were dirty and dilapidated and the room was very dated. The bathroom floor was scuffed with unknown streaks, and the walls had been poorly repaired where the shower rod had been pulled off the wall. There was a reefer van parked outside which ran almost continuously throughout the night, and a toddler next door screamed a few times throughout the night as well. Not an issue if there was insulation between the rooms, which there apparently is not. Not recommended for anyone.”

“La Quinta Grant's Pass offers good, clean accommodations, a nice continental breakfast and 24 hour indoor pool and weight room. The rooms are comfortable and beds are too. A good bed means a good night's sleep which I regard as a must when on the road.”

• The kids liked the indoor pool and spa. They liked the morning breakfast.
• I didn't like that I saw a few people with dogs in their room.

“Overall, I would stay there again. It had the fun amenities for the kids, great location to restaurants, and easy access to freeway. Thanks for a comfortable stay.”

• 24 hour pool, hot tub and work out room onsite, check out is noon.
• Breakfast only runs till 9am, maid service not available after between 1pm and 3pm.

“So far, this is my favorite hotel in this area. The 24 hour availability of the heated pool, hot tub, and workout room makes using these features much more convenient (when not getting back to the hotel until late, they are still available).”

• I called within 5 minutes after getting the online confirmation to request wheelchair accessible room - there was no problems!
• The complimentary breakfast was until 9 a.m. But if you'd like to sleep in.

“Very nice room had everything you need. There was a laundry room down the hall, fitness room and a pool. Unfortunately we did not have time to enjoy that.”

“This was a good hotel for a short stay, It is near town and the freeway. The staff were helpful and friendly and the room clean and comfortable. I would rate it an 8 on a scale of 10.”

“The staff was extremely friendly, the room was very spacious and clean. The kids loved the 24 hour pool. The breakfast had a lot to offer. The hotels atmosphere felt like home. And above all that they welcomed our dog. I highly recommend this hotel.”

• Very clean, but small pool and spa indoor 24 hr, great continental breakfast included hotel very clean.
• Road access to parking lot just a bit difficult a very minor negative.

“See above remarks note the grant pass visitors center is 1 short block down the street. pipers fish and chips across street is OK. Don't miss Hell gate river boat excursions its a grants pass absolute must and number 1 attraction.”

• The smell of cigarettes in the rooms/halls.

“This hotel was great. We arrived late and discovered that the indoor pool was open 24 hrs. The complimentary breakfast was much better than we expected. The only problem was the stench of cigarettes in the room and hallway. The staff apologized for putting us in a "sometimes" smoking room but it was all they had available.”

“I found the hotel quite acceptable. The staff was helpful with dining recommendations, etc. The room was basic but clean and about what I expected. A directory to the cable TV stations would be helpful and the continental breakfast was very basic.”

• Location and room size and comfort.

“This hotel is convenient for freeway travelers. The rooms are large and clean. The complimentary breakfast is better than many. We only stayed one night on our way to Seattle and another night on our return. We found it very much to our liking. It met our needs and we will stay there again on a future trip north.”

• Friendly staff. Enclosed pool and sauna. Good for grandchildren to play. And it is friendly to dogs.
• Needs better street signage. The street it is on requires circumnavigation.

• The people were extremely friendly and accomodating
• People staying at the hotel were not very considerate when leaving their rooms. They would let their doors slam. Not the fault of Hotel staff.

“I called La Quinta 800 number after receiving my reservation to confirm and asked if I could change my room from one queen to two queens (in Ashland) because I am tall and need the room...the representative on the phone was rude and made no effort to accomodate me. However, when I got to the hotel, I asked for two queens and there was no problem. I was accomodated. In Grants Pass I had two queens with smoking...I do not smoke...again the hotel desk was very accomodating and changed my room to non-smoking. The hotel is very nicely kept and the rooms are large for the price. I have paid more for "4 star" and got less. I was very pleased.”

• The bathroom could have been a bit cleaner in corners and behind door.
