“If you don't mind the musty smell and the mold growing in the shower, this could be the ideal spot on the coast for you.”

• Very friendly. The bay view side was very roomy.

“The rooms were very clean and spacious. They even allowed us to have our dog room with us. The hotel staff was very friendly.”

• The exercise room, swimming pool, sauna and breakfast bar were very nice.
• The location was a little strange in getting onto the main road in that it was a little dangerous.

“For the price, I really was satisfied with my stay at this hotel and it was nice to have all the conveniences I needed during my stay.”

• The room smelled like smoke.

“The room smelled like smoke, opened the window but the room did not air out overnight. Talked to the front desk on check out and they said they were sorry and will have it checked out.”

• It did the job.
• Lack of parking - too expensive - noisy.

“First time stay in Astoria. Parking was limited and I had to park in a handicapped stall after getting permission from the front desk. The traffic in the hallways could be very loud and the floors seemed to reverberate as people walked on them. The room was very expensive for what it was. Wireless internet access was easy to use and the signal was strong.”

• The morning breakfast was very good.
• The hotel was in the process of remodeling, this was not indicated in any of the information we were given.

“Low ceilings combined with dark woodwork, paint, and wallpaper make this hotel less than cheery. The staff was friendly, and the breakfast was very good.”

• The room was clean and well maintained.
• The carpet was being replaced in the hallways and it was inconvenient and dirty to walk through.

“The hotel should have closed the floor with the carpet torn up. Instead we had to walk through the dirt and tracked it into the room.”

• Staff was awesome, very helpful. Location was prime for what I needed in Astoria.
• Again, my stay was awesome.

“The hotel was newly remolded. Very clean. And the staff was so helpful. Next trip to Astoria, I will be in the same hotel!”
