“Very good.” Oct 4, 2009 by
Lisa from Houston,TX
“The hotel, or should I say motel was very clean and the room was homey. It included a continental breakfast which was decent - there was fresh fruit, eggs and such. Very good compared to most economy hotels. The restaurant is not part of the Best Western. Don't eat at the restaurant at night. It was highly recommended by the helpful staff person, but the service was awful, and the food was not good. Pricey also. The shrimp cocktail was baby shrimp from the can. This was just a place to stay as we were waking up to visit the redwood forest. It was clean and decent for what it was. Very clean.” Sep 14, 2009 by
Catherine from Rohnert Park,CA
“We have stayed here before on several occasions and will stay hear again. It is our crescent city hotel of choice because of its location, amenities WiFi and willingness to accommodate a disable.” Jul 11, 2009 by
Volet from Willows,CA
“If I can help it I wouldn’t stay there again. It was very expensive for the room we got.” Apr 6, 2009 by
James from Seattle,WA
“The staff was friendly, the breakfast was included and incredible. The room I got was on a second building that had no elevator, and the signs on the first floor do not indicate where the stairs are, nor which direction the room is. Everything else is great.” Apr 3, 2009 by
Gail from Sweetwater,TX
“They were very accommodating!” Apr 8, 2008 by
Bob from Richland, WA
“There is absolutely no insulation to restrict noise in this facility either from above or outside. Poor construction with no attention to the comfort of the traveler. Sounded like they housed a herd of Roosevelt Elk above us!” Feb 26, 2008 by
Eric from Lacey, WA
“- rooms didn't seem that clean- toilet didn't flush all that well- bed was uncomfortable- pool was cold- staff told me the wrong time for breakfast ending so we missed out free breakfast.- you can hear some noise from the road.” Feb 25, 2008 by
Cindy from Fortuna, CA
“Crescent City is so limited in nice places to stay. With a family this works, not fancy for cali standards but your comfortable with the cleanliness and safety Gorgeous.” Feb 20, 2008 by
Amanda from Fortuna, CA
“Not for the Romantic getaway. No ocean view. No room service. Front desk was not helpful. Manager was never there. Room was very clean. The "Free" Breakfast buffet included bad service and a dirty restaurant.” Jan 22, 2008 by
Doug from Gualala, CA
“Not worth my time.” Jan 5, 2008 by
Stewart from Fullerton, CA
“Establishment is a good for one night stay. I would not stay here again. Staff is friendly. I believe the building our room was in is more new than other but amenities are old. Both beds in the room need to be exchanged for better quality. If I knew of this place, I would not have paid what I paid. Only nice thing I can say about this place is location, friendly staff, and breakfast buffet.” Nov 11, 2007 by
John from Longview, WA
“The motel was good enough for an overnight stay. Reasonably clean and appointed like most motels of this type. The walls were very thin and it sounded like the folks above us were going to crash through the ceiling at any time. The restaurant was okay coffee shop quality. Free breakfast was not a selling point. Bring earplugs!” Oct 20, 2007 by
Cindy from Bend, OR
“Appearance was good. When we checked into the hotel, there was a staff standing at the front entrance smoking. Lady that checked us in was good and very friendly. Room smelt old when we first went in. Got used to it 15 minutes later though. We went to the front desk much later just before dinner to ask questions. Staff was outside smoking again. That is a huge turnoff. If they want to smoke, they should go somewhere else to smoke. Breakfast was better than most places. There was eggs, pancakes, sausage, ham, cereal, fruit juices, etc. I loved the variety they offered.” Oct 9, 2007 by
Andy from Fort Wayne, IN
“Great location for seeing the redwoods. Nice hot tub/pool. The breakfast was great.” Aug 29, 2007 by
Sherri from Santa Rosa, CA
“The hotel was ok. Nothing great about it. The room was clean. All the appliances, lights etc. Were unplugged when we got to room. The mattresses need to be replaced they were very uncomfortable and I woke up with a backache. Don't really feel it was worth the price for the night.” Jul 6, 2007 by
Chandra from White City, OR
“Ok but definitely needs carpets cleaned and hot water turned down some.” Apr 22, 2007 by
Erik from Richland, WA
“Very nice hotel. Price is a bit steep for a 2 star, but the staff and free breakfast made all the difference in the world. Will stay there again when we next visit.” Sep 19, 2006 by
Tonya from Ca, CA
“Very clean and comfortable. And like I said before. Very impressed with the complimentary breakfast.” Sep 9, 2006 by
Meb from Alamosa, CO
“It could be nicer with some fixing, and it's too expensive for what's there” Aug 4, 2006 by
Henry from Palo Cedro, CA
“Just two stars, a little to perfume as though other smells are being covered.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Mar 16, 2006 by

“The room we were initially given was awful and the cost of upgrading not reasonable. When I pointed out we that we had expected a fridge and microwave, she promptly and kindly offered us a different room with the upgrades at no cost in the first room the light was blocked by the roof over the entrance but the second room was quite satisfactory. The best part was the kindness of the staff, particularly Brandon.” 2 of 3 people found this review helpful.
