• Internet worked.
• Everything else.

“The bedspread has not been washed since? There are paper wrappings under the bed and pieces of cat food by the wall. The floors appear to be vacuumed where convenient but without much effort. The box spring is stained. The room has an unidentifiable odor. The room badly needs to be updated. We complained to the staff and they were indifferent at best. We had planned to stay two nights but will be looking for a clean hotel, not a dump with fluctuating prices. Every inquiry found a different rate including their local site.”

• Location to amenities and working site.
• Burned out light bulbs were not replaced when requested.

“The facility was centrally located for the business we had, the winter price was fair, it was convenient to restaurants and other amenities, clean, and there were electrical outlets available for engine block heaters had they been necessary.”

• High speed Wi-Fi connection.
• Difficulty using key to enter room.

“After a short taxi ride from Fairbanks airport, I checked in. I had difficulty unlocking my room; other customers had the same problem. The room itself was clean and comfortable, with a full bathroom, cable TV and free wireless internet connection. From 6am to 9am, the hotel offered a continental breakfast with juice, milk, coffee, English muffins, muffins and cereal. The central location allowed me to explore the city on foot. Overall I was pleased with my two night stay at Fairbanks Super 8.”
