• Great location and newly refurnished rooms.
• It's a bummer that parking is $10.00 per night.

“The Sheraton is always my first choice when staying in Anchorage. It is a nice safe walk from the 5th Avenue Mall (Nordstroms) and many nice restaurants.”

• I really liked the remodeling of the lobby.
• I do not think guests should have to pay for parking and the old doors need to be replaced.

“Overall it was a pretty nice stay but we had a room with two double beds. My husband and I were in one and a friend was in the other. We are used to a king size bed so the bed felt real small and not real comfortable. The beds should probably be queen beds but the rooms are not big enough for two queen beds.”

• This hotel was exceptionally spacious with a friendly, helpful staff and an excellent breakfast buffet.

• It was very clean, very attractive, and romantic.
• The front desk lady on the day of our check out was not very helpful.

“My husband works out of town for two weeks, the airport is an hour, and a half drive from our home. I wanted a nice romantic place a little closer to the airport to spend our first night together, and the Sheraton was perfect. It had a great atmosphere, room service, a day spa (we didn't have time to enjoy it but will next time), and located next to some of the best restaurants in Anchorage all within walking distance.”

“Overall a very nice hotel. Not always very organized. Also double billed me for the room, which had already been paid for on Priceline. I have had this happen before with this hotel, and they are always quick to remedy the situation when brought to their attention.”

“Whenever I go to Anchorage I always try and stay at the Sheraton. It's within walking distance of all the activities and since they remodeled all their rooms are very nice. I like that they are pet friendly too!”

• Not much, the beds are nice.
• The noise was horrible!

“I have stayed at the hotel many times before. I take a weekend trip down for the weekend. This stay was not so nice and I don't think I will be staying there again. The noise keep me up all night. This was due to doors slamming in the halls and the traffic outside. Oh yes and the wrong number people calling my room at midnight. Would not recommend a stay there. Also they charge you an extra 10.00 a day for parking.”

• Room/door is not sound-proofed very well. Party girls woke me three times during the night.

“Continuing saga about the party girls: I called down about 3:45 am, and the front desk said they would send security. But, the noise resumed about 4:30 am. When I complained as I was checking out, they deleted my internet and parking charges. That was fair.”

• The exercise room was new.

“Over all, the Sheraton was nice, but dated. However, one thing that really bothered me, is that they charged for internet access. That is acceptable in today's day and age and makes this hotel off limits for business travelers.”

• The hotel was clean and comfortable. The beds were exceptionally comfortable. The staff was very friendly. The huge flat screen TV!
• I did not care for the location. The room temperature was too hot, even with the heat off. The heater fan was loud.

• Very clean, friendly, great king-size bed, and very nice room. Loved the flat-screen TV and cable.
• No pool or jacuzzi. They charge $10 for internet connection. They charge $10 for parking!

“The Sheraton is in a great location in Anchorage, very close to shopping. The rooms are spacious and very nice, and most have a great view of the city or even the water. The only thing I did not like was that they charge $10 for parking, and $10 for internet, so the value is a little less.”

• Everything about the hotel went beyond my expectations.

“Sheraton hotel was an excellent hotel to stay at. The lobby was absolutely gorgeous with a water fall coming out of 3 very large bowls, and opposite right to it was a humongous fireplace with many chairs to relax in between. It also had 2 restaurants and a coffee shop (coffee shop has good coffee). My room was on the 8th floor. The room had a Queen or King Size comfy bed, desk, dresser, small fridge, chair with foot rest, and two night stands with lamps on both. It also had a large closet. The bathroom was a bit small, but the interior paint, tiles and counter top were modern and updated more than other hotel bathrooms I've seen. It was a peaceful room, except for some loud noises around 2-6 pm sounded like weights were hitting the floor. Over all I will definitely keep coming back to the Sheraton.”

• Both experiences with food service were not good. Ignored for about 15 minutes at dinner, had to track down someone. Ordered room service didn't arrive.

• Close to hospitals.
• No microwave in room or on the floor.

“The hotel is fine for staying in. I was immediately ill after eating breakfast. I would not recomend that anyone to eat the gravy either from the buffet or the menu. I tried it both ways and had diarrhea immediately afterwards.”
