• The hotel had a great breakfast selection.
• Noise from other people opening and closing doors. Some customers were intoxicated which was pleasant for my children.

“The room was big. Location was OK. It wasn't the best place to bring children. The hotel staff was nice and polite. Rooms could use remodeling.”

• Free shuttle to Anchorage and airport. Clean and roomy. Pleasant staff.
• No restaurant, poor lobby. It had a used look and feel.

• Was very dirty and moldy.sticky floors not very up to date.

“Will not stay in a 1star hotel again. did work for last minute plans and a very busy weekend. we did not stay much in hotel room during the day. staff that i did meet was very friendly and up beat that was a nice welcome. inside rooms does need a update/remodel on some things and not half ass. take care of teh cracks and mold plus clean might not be so bad.will use priceline again tho.”

• The hotel staff gave us a suite upgrade for free when we checked in. Continental breakfast.
• It was not clean, prior guest garbage not emptied, lipstick on glasses, floor leaned.

“The whole floor in the building we were in leaned pretty significantly. The garbage from the previous guest was not emptied and it was overflowing under the sink. There was lipstick print on the glasses. The building was old and actually had a regular key for the deadbolt lock not a key card. The shuttle to the airport was convenient and there was a continental breakfast.”

• Old and run-down building.

“This place is a run-down motel type and it was under renovations. Call the hotel to ask when the renovation ends, otherwise you'll hear worker drilling walls and other loud noise. The positive thing about this hotel is free wireless Internet.”

“The rooms that we stayed-in were very poorly constructed. Doors were not plum, could not use regular door lock in one room, and door of another room had large gap in the top of door. Loud noises till 2:00 a.m.”

“Large rooms, but are falling apart. Towel bars barely on wall or broken. Very little lighting in the common areas (we had a small living room and a nook (not sure what to call it-could be a wet bar if it was finished). If they had some towels that weren't stained I'd felt more comfortable. Computer too slow to enter your email account in the 'business center'/lobby.”

• There was lots of space & 2 rooms.
• No elevator and on the 3rd floor!

“There were 2 rooms, a kitchen area, a good sized bathroom, a large walk-in closet, and a creaky balcony. Overall, the rooms were clean and spacious but they were rather rundown. The beds were uncomfortable and seemed small and my linens even had holes in them. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful but were a little slow in responding to requests such as when they told me they would deliver extra towels in 5 minutes, they actually showed up over 20 minutes later and only after a second call to the desk. They also only give you 2 towels for the room when it is clearly designed for a family and when I got extra towels, the housekeeping crew would take them every time they cleaned the room and would again only leave 2. Housekeeping did come every day but usually late in the afternoon (which was fine with us) and cleaned up and made the beds. They did a pretty good job but missed a few things such as refilling the empty tissue container in the bath and not cleaning the glasses in the kitchen very well..”

• All suite hotel was nice for kids to have own room.
• Older, stairs only, dimly lit.

“First impression wasn't good. Small out of the way front desk and staff called 20 min. before checkout to make sure we were leaving (a bit rude). The continental breakfast was nice. We didn't pay the extra cost for a crib, which is usually given at no cost! We were on the 3rd floor at the end of a hall with no elevator and lots of luggage and kiddos. The neighborhood was decent, but we wouldn't dare go walking in that area.”

“The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, but shabby and outdated. There was a vinyl curtain hanging over the window and under the curtains. Repairs done to wallpaper and bathroom areas were poorly done. Clean enough, but very over-priced.”

“This is an old hotel at the edge of city commerce and is still within walking distance from the main businesses and shopping centers. The breakfast is great and lasts until 10 a.m. which allows you to sleep in. It is ok, but more of a 1.5 star hotel.”

• We ended up with a suite which was very nice when you have two children.
• The bathroom was disgusting. The toilet was dirty and I had to clean it before I would let me young son use it. It was very worn, used shape.

“I was extremely disappointed with this motel. The quality was very low and it should not be rated as a two star. Very low economy. I was grossed out by the condition of the bathroom. There was minimal toiletries left by the staff to use and the pillows on both bed were in poor, worn over used condition. The beds were too soft and you sunk into them. I just didn't feel clean staying in this motel. Should not be classified as a hotel.”

“When we arrived, the room we were assigned could not be opened with the key we were given, we were let into the room and put all of our luggage in then had to switch rooms due to 4 different keys not working. No one offered to help us move the luggage we had just put into the room. At midnight, the people in a room behind us were blasting their music and having a party. Every time someone flushed a toilet or turned on a faucet, it was ridiculously loud in the room. When I went to take a shower, the drain was clogged with hair and would not drain. We ended up leaving the hotel at 7 in the morning and sleeping in the car in a Wal-Mart parking lot.”

“It is located in a very seedy part of town. Hookers and drugs abound. We were first put into a room beside the stairwell. It was very noisy. The next day we insisted on another room, which we were given. It was better, but still very loud. People shouting, arguments in other rooms and people coming and going all hours of the night. I was not happy and you should consider removing this hotel from your list.”

• Location is convenient to the airport and price is okay for just staying 8 hours.
• Shabby accommodations, drunken partiers in the parking lot.

“This hotel needs 2 things. A refurbishment/remodel and tighter security. The 2 star amenities were there. Coffee pot, fridge, TV, internet, hair dryer, but the rest of it is in total need of some sprucing up.”

• The continental breakfast was good, and the shower had great water pressure.
• Uncomfortable bed, misleading about room said 2 beds 1 was a pullout, room smelled when heat came on.

“Front desk clerk was on personal cell phone when we came in did not end call for at least 5 minutes. Stated that we had a room with 2 queen beds, not true when called to front desk he was confused and did not realize that there was only one bed. When asked for bedding for pull out was brought 1 blanket with holes, no pillows. Tried to get extra towels and was not given what was asked for. Police showed up while checking in. Local News stated a hotel guest was shot down the block at another hotel.”

• We appreciated the included breakfast. I liked the pull down second bed.
• Hotel room looked cheap and poorly kept.

“Our room appeared clean, but clearly cheap and poorly kept up. For example; gaps in tile/grout, gap around outside door, crooked wallpaper, no complimentary newspaper, bathroom sink drained very slowly. When asked if there was sugar substitute for the breakfast bar (coffee), was told they no longer offered it. Bottom line: Room appeared clean and we slept well; however, I would have been disappointed.”

• The rooms were spacious. The continental breakfast was excellent.
• The front desk attendant was not friendly, but other staff was wonderful!

“This was actually the second time I have stayed at this establishment and the attendants both times I visited were rude. I do not qualify this hotel as anything above a 1. The rooms are spacious but not very clean. There were stains on my bed covers and hair on my pillow.”

“This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. There were 2 beds one which was a box springs and mattress sitting on the floor. The blankets on the bed had burn holes in it. Some of the lights did not work. The curtains had numerous holes in it. The room was filthy. The entrance door to the hotel was left open 24 hours. As soon as you entered the hallways they stunk badly. I would never recommend this hotel. I was going to leave after the first night except I could not find another hotel in the vicinity which was not booked up.”

• We liked the fact that the bedroom was separate from the living room area.
• We were on the second floor and the elevator was broken; the hot water was cut off; there were no lights at all working in the bedroom.

“My husband and I are in our 60's. We were assigned a 2nd floor room and the elevator was not working the entire time we were there. The hot water was shut off for a time and we could not shower. My husband requires a breathing machine at night for sleep apnea. He also requires a soft bed. The soft bed was in the room with no outlets and no light. Therefore, he could not use his breathing machine during our entire stay. This made him extremely tired so that he could not drive safely until we reached our next destination.”

• Located in a busy location, traffic/airplanes a little loud. Room was hot even with heat off.
