• Gorgeous rooms.
• No pool, no room service, no Jacuzzi no restaurant or gym or any on site services to speak of.

“The room was gorgeous. It was completely clean; no mildew or smoky smell like with many hotels. The bathroom was beautiful. It actually did look like 4 stars. The room featured two lanais which I took advantage of. Wished the hotel had more on site services though.”

• It was right by the beach.
• The party and bar down stairs was loud and invasive.

“Music was loud at night. I wasn't impressed with the room. I certainly would not rate this hotel equally to the Hapuna Prince Beach Hotel by far more wonderful.”

• Room sizes were spacious. Staff was attentive and courteous.
• Restaurant and bar were sparse of patrons, thus not really making it attractive to go there.

“Awesome hotel. Rooms are nice and well kept. Quiet part of Waikiki, which is great. Elevator wait can ice machine location can get a little tiring but I suppose nothing in Hawaii is fast paced. Staff is friendly. Restaurant and weekend club events seem like they could use a jolt of better promotion.”

• The hotel staff was great. The view from the rooms are awesome!
• The location. It is a very far walk to Waikiki. Hard to get in and out even with car. No room service.

“Overall, this is a wonderful hotel! The staff know you by name and the view is so much better than what you would normally get for the price. Excellent value. The location is a bit away from Waikiki. And even with a car, it is inconvenient. But the service more than makes up for it. The only thing the hotel lacks is room service. It is very difficult to get food, especially in the morning. I recommend bringing your own snacks/drinks.”

• Not on beach, no coffee in room.

“This is a very pleasant stay. Staff very helpful. Not sure about 4 stars. Nice, but just above average room. Quiet.”

• The location is quiet but a 10 min walk from the bustle of Waikiki.
• The night club operated on Saturday night was noisy even on 5th floor.

“Quiet small hotel in a beautiful location. The simplicity of the Asian theme is restful. The rooms are nice sized. A friendly staff that quickly learns guests names. Large balcony's with a view of Diamond Head. It is very close to very nice small beach. Walking time two minutes, with no street to cross. Front Desk has some beach equipment that can be checked out.”

• Nice beds and that's all.
• No amenities.

“No swimming pool, no breakfast and dining on premise. No views. Service poor, no free internet elevator very slow (only 6-7 stories tall) old TV's no digital Bathroom average but clean.”

• Trendy and comfortable with friendly staff.
• No swimming pool.

“I enjoyed The W Hotel Honolulu for the convenient location. From the hotel you can walk to Waikiki Beach and casual dining restaurants. The major freeway and gas stations were also fairly close to the hotel as well. The staff at The W was very friendly and helpful with tips and ideas on local attractions. We took their advice and did a half day drive around the island of Oahu and returned to a clean and fresh scented room.”
