“My family enjoyed staying here. The room was spacious, bathroom was a little tight but I liked the tub (anti-slip floor). I would go back again.” Sep 6, 2009 by
Alan from Bonnyrigg,CA
“great location!” Aug 14, 2009 by
Matt from Geneva,IL
“Nice hotel with a pool too small. Pool opens at 8 am and chairs are gone by 8 am.” Jul 10, 2009 by
Ken from Lindon,UT
“I very much enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly from the front desk, to the cleaning staff, and even the maintenance staff always had a smile and a hello.” May 24, 2009 by
Alice from New York,NY
“Great location, beautiful pool, friendly staff, should be fabulous when renovation are complete.” Apr 22, 2009 by
Shirley from Kansas City,MO
“The hotel was under construction so I expected there to be some inconveniences. Once completed it will be a beautiful facility. The pool was beautiful and the variety of restaurants is a plus. The rooms have simple decor, but okay for the price. The elevator lobbies on each floor are very nice and spacious. We had a city view room and we enjoyed the stay.” Apr 19, 2009 by
Mark from Huron,OH
“The location and staff were excellent. The daily brunch was worth the extra fee. There was a lot of construction to the common area and one of the pools was closed for renovation. I would recommend this hotel to others.” Mar 27, 2009 by
Kay from Ft Worth
“Access for handicap persons is non existent Concierge lacks knowledge of area and amenities, pool closes at 5 pm, most people on vacation want to swim at night. Waterfall comes on at night completely blocking the sound of the ocean. Restaurant food is way overpriced. My steak was terrible and served cold. Room had stains on carpet and cockroaches.” Mar 19, 2009 by
Mike from Calgary,Canada
“Excellent hotel. Had a blast. My only complaint is the price of food and drinks, $11 for a pina colada.” Mar 16, 2009 by
Daniel from Centre Hall,PA
“Service was 1st class, hotel was 1st class, however too many groups stayed there for my noise level taste.” Mar 12, 2009 by
Phil from San Jose,CA
“Great hotel resort in the heart of Waikiki. Very convenient and the service was first rate!” Mar 2, 2009 by
Marie from Watsonville,CA
“Loved the hotel. Too bad there was so much construction going on. Couple times waken up with the pounding going on. All in all, the hotel was great would go back in a second. Very nice staff.” Feb 10, 2009 by
Jeff from Calgary,Canada
“Nice hotel, great location, nice rooms but very sparsely furnished, the only chair was like a foot stool with one side, no other chairs to sit in. Hotel lobby, area between this hotel and Royal Hawaiian Hotel, and one of the pool/beach areas was undergoing extensive renovations. With the renovations I would not consider this a resort class hotel, it should not have been included in this class during the renovations.” Feb 5, 2009 by
Alana from Los Angeles,CA
“Good location, large hotel right on the beach. However no access to the beach. If you want to go to the beach you have to leave hotel property and rent an umbrella somewhere else. Pool at the hotel was not heated. There was construction going on and noise. Rooms were nice and clean, but housekeeping cleaned them late in afternoon.” Jan 28, 2009 by
Enrique from Farmington,UT
“Nice hotel, centrally located in Waikiki. Recently renovated rooms and still working on lobby. Pool area with water slide and 2 hot tubs was nice but crowded. Water front but not really beach front (VERY small beach strip to the side). Clean, comfortable and pleasant.” Jan 28, 2009 by
Frederik from Santa Monica,CA
“It is a very nice big hotel with perfect location on Waikiki Beach. However the partly ocean view room that we stayed in was definitely only a partly ocean view, since you had to be on the edge of the balcony to see the ocean, but when you did that it was a very nice view. One of the two pool areas was under construction, but one was enough and the ocean is just in front of the hotel which was very convenient.” Sep 24, 2008 by
Robin
“I found this hotel to be very nice. It is in a great location and the staff was friendly. The room was nice; the view was mediocre at best: Mountain View, Aka (tall buildings with mountains behind them). The walls were thin, but overall, I was very happy. The bed was comfortable, the shower hot and the pool warm. The service was also excellent.

Roberta “The hotel has no beach area but is ocean front. The pool is extremely small and has no personality. It has no resort atmosphere.” Sep 1, 2008 by
Mike from Milpitas, CA
“The hotel next door was totally closed for construction. Every morning and all day I had to hear jackhammers and beeping from construction vehicles. Hotel location is great. Beautiful beaches. The pool closes too early. Good food.” Aug 19, 2008 by
Cari from Ofallon, MO
“The hotel staff put us in a room with a view of the ocean which was very nice. We both felt that the bathroom was small and looked older.” Jul 25, 2008 by
Sue from Portland, OR
“Hard to find, nice rooms but construction, or singing noise. Very small beach available. Pool crowed with children. Pool closed at 6:00 pm. Small bugs on bathroom counter at check in. Food prices very high. Limited beach chairs. A disappointment for the price.” Jul 21, 2008 by
Lis from Santee, CA
“Beautiful hotel in the best location with great service. Loved happy hour at Rim fire and the breakfast buffet was delicious. It will be much nicer when the renovations next door are finished. They are down a swimming pool while that is happening which makes the main pool very crowded. Would love to stay here again and it was definitely worth paying an extra $, upgrade offered at check in which gave us an oceanfront room, free breakfast for 2 and free high speed internet.” Jul 11, 2008 by
Danny from Lancaster, SC
“Great location, great scenery, great staff, great hotel.” Jul 3, 2008 by
Bogner from Temecula, CA
“Day staff was great, night staff did not respond. Elevators were to crowded and often had to wait 3 or 4 times before we can fit into one so wait time was about 20 minutes. That was the only downfall.” Jun 30, 2008 by
Sherron from Marina Del Rey, CA
“I've said everything in the survey. I would definitely recommend it to singles and/or families.” Jun 16, 2008 by
Jeremy from Cornelius, OR
“Amazing view and comfortable rooms. We were on our honeymoon and Sheraton Waikiki made it very special for us, they had sparkling wine in our room with a nice note and a macadamia nut cookie too. We were also selected for guest of the day and got a catamaran boat ride for both of us! Will return to the Sheraton again! A+++!” Jun 16, 2008 by
Lisa from Shrewsbury, MA
“The hotel was ok, the housekeeping could have been better and the bathroom set up was weird with the bathroom having a window with folding doors into the bedroom area!” Jun 2, 2008 by
Kevin from Mckinney, TX
“The location was awesome. The room itself was not an updated room and it had a mildew smell to it. The breakfast buffet had the same thing everyday. I only stayed there 3 nights and by the 3rd night I was tired of the breakfast buffet.” May 28, 2008 by
Bill from Port Coquitlam, BC CA
“The hotel appears to be in the process of interior renos and the floor we were on was really well done. Everything seemed clean and the staff was there to welcome you upon arrival at the front desk. We never ate at the hotel restaurants as they were very expensive. We specifically wanted a room with a balcony and were disappointed that the balcony chairs were so uncomfortable. The hotel does have various activities throughout the day and evening including showing movies by the pool in the evening as well as a Hawaiian fire dancer and hula dancers. The pool is a little small for the amount of guests and people tend to save lounge chairs, very early in the morning, not to return until well after breakfast which was a little annoying to others who showed up to find a lot of empty reserved seats. There is no beach to speak of right in front of the hotel but a short walk towards the neighboring Royal Hawaiian brings you to the beginning of Waikiki beach area.” May 27, 2008 by
Valerie from Vancouver, WA
“I would recommend this hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful; the rooms were clean and updated. Very good location to everything! I thought the parking fee was a little too high. I already am paying to stay at the hotel; you would think they would give you a little break. Overall Great experience!” May 11, 2008 by
Lisa from Richer, MB CA
“Great atmosphere, friendly staff, helpful, beautiful location, ocean front, little pricey in food however, but very pleasant experience.” May 1, 2008 by
Troy from Teaneck, NJ
“Can't beat this hotel for the location, value, staff friendliness. Rooms are upgraded and clean and good sized. They even upgraded us at check-in for free. Breakfast downstairs is a bit pricey but par for the course in Waikiki. Def. Would recommend staying here and we wouldn't hesitate to reserve this hotel again.” Apr 30, 2008 by
Bill from Portsmouth, NH
“This is not a resort. It is a 2 star hotel at a 5 star location.” Apr 27, 2008 by
Betty from Anchorage, AK
“Great location, room had been remodeled and was very comfortable. Hotel restaurant buffet was very good but very pricey.” Apr 13, 2008 by
Tracy from New Bedford, MA
“It was a very open cheerful hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful when needed. Our view from our room was incredible. Your ingredients food area has a great selection.” Apr 8, 2008 by
Dave from Central Point, OR
“Its nice but not resort quality. The staff was excellent and we received a free up grade when I asked. Pool size was limited for the guests. Drinks were very expensive. Buy a bottle for the room, the little umbrella was $9.00 but the drink was included. Excellent restaurants near buy.” Apr 6, 2008 by
Paritosh from Alpharetta, GA
“Nice hotel with decent amenities. Excellent location. Expensive Parking (US$ 20 - self park).” Mar 31, 2008 by
D from Corona, CA
“Great Location and friendly staff.” Mar 28, 2008 by
Don from Mesa, AZ
“Very nice hotel. Close to many, many shops and restaurants. Lots of things right outside the door. If you want a slow, quiet place this isn't the one for you but if you want to be in the center of Wikiki action, this will do. I would stay there again. Friendly staff.” Mar 27, 2008 by
Amy from Flower Mound, TX
“The check in clerk gave us a free upgrade to an oceanfront room on the 5th floor above the pool. What a view!” Mar 24, 2008 by
Tim from Portland, OR
“Hotel has one of the best pool areas. If you face the ocean / pool, be prepared for 3 hours of evening local music, which I like, but some may note. Great balconies. Good elevator service. Rooms are small, and you can hear neighbors. Worst part was the Internet. It was only 3 x dial up speed in rooms, and no wireless in rooms or the pool or any restaurant yet they charge $13 a day.” Mar 17, 2008 by
Chris from Eagle River, AK
“Great resort! Great location on the beach and within the shopping district. Would stay here again. Had a great ocean view, nice room, somewhat small. Overall a great place.” Mar 14, 2008 by
Tom from Houston, TX
“Very small pool. Beach at hotel is tiny. Newly renovated room sparsely furnished. The bed is not the Sheraton Sweet Sleep.” Mar 10, 2008 by
from Toronto, ON CA
“Location is great in the heart of Waikiki, however the hotel has no beach of its own and pools are really small. Renovated rooms are really nice but it is definitely a 4* hotel and not a resort.” Mar 10, 2008 by
Kari from Wheeling, IL
“Yes, this is a bustling busy hotel but so is Waikiki. They were extremely efficient at check-in and out. The location was right on the beach and in the heart of all the shopping and nightlife. This was great since driving in the area is a pain. The best part of the hotel was our room. When we checked in they told us we had a deluxe ocean view room. Our lanai faced the ocean and Diamond Head. May be hotel was not very full but whatever the case they gave us a great room.” Mar 5, 2008 by
Irene from Wahiawa, HI
“The staff was friendly. The room was okay, very modern, and sparse (no drawers). The room had no balcony, and no window that could open, so we were stuck with AC or no AC, no fresh air option. The window was about 4 feet up, so height challenged individuals would find this less than ideal. The pools are simple, nothing special. Overall, I think I would go somewhere else. Not, pleased with the quality. Definitely not what I would consider to be a resort, or 4 star hotel.” Mar 2, 2008 by
Lisa from Seattle, WA
“The location of Sheraton Waikiki is right next to Royal Hawaiian with beautiful views and beaches. I traveled with my family which includes a 7 year old autistic boy and 7 month old baby. My 7 year old was missing for a few minutes when he ran back to the beach while I washed my feet. He was located within 60 seconds back at the beach, but the security staff chased down my husband who was half a mile down the beach looking. So great staff, great stay. I know my son will really miss the sandy beach.” Feb 25, 2008 by
Mario from Kirkland, QC CA
“Beautiful view, well located, excellent food, newly tastefully renovated room, nice sea side patios. Very friendly courteous service.” Feb 23, 2008 by
Julie from Sunnyvale, CA
“This was an excellent hotel located directly on the beach. Lots of activities at the hotel. The room was spacious, although it was a mountain view instead of ocean view it was well appointed with updated amenities.” Feb 11, 2008 by
Walt from Webster Groves, MO
“Clean rooms with good location on Waikiki, but nothing really special. Really a 3.5 star hotel and I expected more from a "resort". Beds were well worn and had "low spots". Rooms service and staff were friendly and prompt. Generally very nice overall facility. Has to pay extra for room with a view.”
