“We stayed at the hotel for two nights and had no problems. Rooms were what we expected and everything else was very nice; lobby, elevators, hallways and rooms.”

“Great location, very friendly staff. We had to call for service twice and they were very prompt getting what we needed. Traveled with husband and two kids ages 14 and 10. We had a spacious room with king bed and pull out sofa. Wait staff and check give excellent service. It felt like we were right in Times Square. Would recommend and stay there again.”

“Great location in Central Manhattan. Near convenient subway station servicing multiple trains in all directions. Nothing fancy but nothing bad, just a normal hotel. Internet was $12.95 for 24 hours.”

“The Barclay is a great hotel. Terrific location near Grand Central. The rooms are very nicely appointed and immaculate. Although on this stay we had a much smaller room than the 2 room suite we had last time, it was still very comfortable. The desk staff were very courteous but understaffed. The economy I guess.”

“It's a pretty good hotel. A little tight in the halls and the rooms, but even our stroller fit everywhere, but don't let them charge you extra fees.”

“We had a great time in NY and found the location of the hotel to be perfect. Our stay was comfortable, but we were only in the room to sleep!”

“We were supposed to stay at the Club Quarters Downtown, but because of an electrical fire, were transferred to the Club Quarters Midtown. First of all the front staff was very rude. My husband used the bathroom in the lobby and he told me that there was a smell to it. The lock for the room was unacceptable. The room was probably a storage room in its previous life. The room was humid and felt muggy even with the aircon on. This by far is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, worse than those in third world countries.”

“The Sheraton Manhattan is safe, clean, well lit, and perfectly situated. The rooms are clean, soundproof, the proximity to shows, Times Square is ideal, the concierge staff was friendly, adept at directing us to all of the boroughs, including providing maps, multiple routes to and from the Sheraton. I would recommend both Priceline and the Sheraton Manhattan to family and friends.”

“I would definitely recommend staying at the Grand Hyatt. Very nice hotel lobby and rooms. The front desk staff and concierge was very friendly and welcoming. Check in was a breeze. They even let me check into my room very early. Try the Black/White cookies at the coffee shop.”

“This hotel was beyond my expectations for a 2 star hotel. The room was kind of small and European in nature. It might not appeal to many Americans but was perfect for me.”

“Rooms are small but clean. Did not feel like an upscale hotel at all. The hotel suffered a small fire on our last night, and we had to run down 20 flights of stairs with no electricity or emergency lighting. Hotel staff was very unfriendly and not helpful during this time. After being assured we would be able to return to the hotel that evening to sleep, we found out when we returned at 2am that we would be sent elsewhere. So they made us climb 20 flights of stairs again in the complete dark, no electricity or running water, with just a flashlight to pack up all of our stuff and bring it back down the stairs. Being in the big city for a week, I had several items to bring down the 20 flights all by myself and carry a single flashlight so I could see. Hotel staff never apologized or offered to help at all. Not very impressed with the hotel staff. I understand it was a extraordinary circumstances, but they could have done a better job helping us. Would not stay here again.”

“This hotel met all of my expectations except for the third-party parking garage people. They put a nice sized scratch in our vehicle. The head of Security and a hotel manager assisted us during our complaint. The hotel lounge is very nice and had god food. Overall, I can't wait to stay at this hotel again. Also, my handicapped mother was treated very well.”

“Attractively decorated hotel in upper west side. Appears popular with international clients. Conviently located to public transportation. Clean and eco-conscious with decision left to guest regarding towel and sheet changing. Mini bar very sensitive to investigation. Attempted charges to me and other guests at checkout tho denials were honored. Bathroom sink drain did not work despite maintence intervention. Apparently it was installed improperly. Burnt light bulb replaced promptly. Cosmetic issues with stain on carpet [tho carpet felt recently cleaned] and slightly dented window woodwork.”
