  • Nicely decorated, new, clean
  • Bedding was very uncomfortable.

“This hotel looks impressive from the front with the fountain. Free parking was available which was one of the reasons we chose this hotel. The ring road system in MN makes traveling to anywhere around the St Paul/Minneapolis area a snap. We were 20 min away from the Mall of America. When we pulled up on a Monday the parking lot had only a handful of cars in it. We were told we were in a double room and asked if there were any king beds available. After looking at our reservation she said no and then handed us our key pamphlet with Priceline written on it. Our room overlooked a roof which was no big deal, but the beds were terribly uncomfortable. My husband woke up each morning with backaches. This hotel claims to have a sweet dream bedding system. I can only assume they didn't put it in the rooms that are the lesser quality Priceline rooms. The bathroom was OK. It had two frosted glass doors that opened to the room which we thought was odd. You had to push very hard to get them to shut properly. There was a large HD flat screen tv in the room which was nice... and a one cup coffee pot that didn't make very hot coffee. There was free Starbucks in the lobby in the morning. Free internet access was provided off of the main lobby as well (along with free printing). This came in handy when looking up addresses to put into my gps. My husband looked at the pool and said it was tiny... but it did have a hot tub. Overall I booked this hotel for about 45% of the cost listed online. If it weren't for the hard-as-a-rock bedding, this hotel would have far surpassed my expectations.”
