• Remodeled and close to the attractions we came for.
• What they considered free breakfast wasn't even close.

• People smoking and talking outside our door after midnight

“Room was clean, clerk was nice, and free wi-fi. Noisy outside the door at night. Met my expectations for a 2 star hotel. You are paying for the location when you stay at this hotel.”

• Clean, friendly staff, good value, and the location is just fabulous - about forty steps from front door of hotel to the sand of the beach.
• Morning coffee is served in the lobby - I had wished the cream was real not powdered.

• Maintenance issues and
  poor staff.

“Everything OK, but lights over bathroom sink did not work. My lady had issues putting he makeup on. Internet barely worked. Staff was discussing some very private things while I was around. Made me uncomfortable.”

“The beds were not comfortable, and the fridge and AC-unit was loud, we pulled the power plug to be able to sleep. Friendly staff, a young crowd visiting.”

• Clean. Comfortable. Quiet. VERY friendly service.
• If I had to pick something, the indoor parking is a little squalid, but maybe the cold windy weather contributed to that.

“Very clean - one of the most important factors for me - and comfortable, with very friendly staff. The hotel was very well-maintained, both inside and out. The location was excellent for convenience to the beach, boardwalk, pier, etc. We were there off-season and it was very quiet, which we appreciated, so we don't know about busy season. Cable TV had decent choices, the continental breakfast was fine. Really didn't find anything to complain about; everything was very good - in fact, felt like we got more than money's worth, and we'd recommend it.”
