• Inexpensive.
• Poorly maintained room.

“Poorly maintained bathrooms. Because of leak in cauk, water collected below the tub. That made standing in the shower feel like standing on a water-bed. Interesting, but hazardous for older travelers. Room above probably doing the same thing because it was leaking through the ceiling. Potential mold hazard as well. Told front desk clerk and he made me fill out a maintenance request. I recommended they refrain from renting my room and the room above due to safety and health concerns. Didn't seem to concerned.”

“We left a brand new I-Pod in the room. We came back and the employee had returned it and it was already stored in an envelope with our name on it.”

• There was no noise from the nearby railroad tracks and freeway.
• The room was dark and musty. The indoor pool area smelled really bad.

“This hotel is rather old, run down and shabby for a Best Western. There are better newer hotel choices nearby. The whole town of Gallup is a rather sad and depressed area.”

“It snowed while staying at the hotel and an employee helped my husband clear the snow off of our two vehicles. We live in the desert and were not properly prepared for snow!”
