  • Great pool and restaurant at a very reasonable price.
  • No restaurants in the area, although ones at hotel great.

“This is a hotel and casino with two great restaurants. The rooms next to the pool like we had are great. It is a little older and worn around the edges, but generally in good shape and well maintained with nice amenities and you cant beat the price!”

  • Room was close to pool; and restaurant really good.
  • Only had escalator for going up; used elevator to go down.

“Away from all the busy activity at the strip. Very clean; easy entrance to room more like a motel which was great since I was on crutches. Restaurant was really good ate most of our meals there. Very reasonable.”

  • Tahoe character.
  • The staff was not nice.

“Hotel had traditional tahoe character. It was far enough from major casinos to feel like your in the mountains. But the staff was rude the 2 times we interacted with them.”

“I liked this hotel. It wasn't extravagant, but it was clean and comfortable. I ate at their 24/7 restaurant and the food was standard fare and well prepared. They have a nice casino. The hotel staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I would stay here again.”

  • It was very conveniently located to the lake and downtown S Lake Tahoe.
  • The hotel was quite noisy and rather old.

“Lakeside Inn was conveniently located and the room was spacious enough. It's a basic motel type room. You don't have to walk through the casino to get to your room. However, the room was quite noisy - and the hotel looked old although the rooms had been recently refurbished. The room opens to a black top parking lot - no nice landscaping or anything.”
