• hotel restaurant was surprisingly good and moderately priced
• water in room tasted horrible and ventilation was inadequate

“Overall, I enjoyed my stay. Things to improve: drab colors, awful water and inadequate ventilation. The room was clean with very little odor. Beds were clean and comfortable. Pleasant staff. Plenty of parking in garage or lot or street.”

• My kids have rashes, the staff was rude, the restaurant screwed up 3/5 orders and all food was gross.

“The front desk staff was apathetic, rude and flippant when asked about issues with the room (TV, internet, cleanliness isues). They were aloof and slow. The rooms were not extrememtly dirty at first glance, but my kids had bug bites all over thier faces. The cafe downstairs (we did not visit the main restaurant) botched three orders out of five, and four out of the five meals were nearly inedible. we ate somewhere else directly afterwards.”

• Great view of the ocean.
• Old and dingy room and had a musty smell. It had two large moths in room that I had to kill.

“It is at a great location. Central to town, easy access to the beach but the room was old and needed to be remodeled and updated.”

• The view was fantastic!
• The sink was not in the same room as the toilet.

“The view from the room was superb, but the room itself had a strange smell. I guess it was due to the fact that the window could not be opened more that 5 cm even though this was the only way to get some fresh air in the room. The toilet and sink areas were separate. The coffee machine was sitting at the sink where you would wash your hands after using the toilet next door.”

• Great ocean view, comfortable bed, quiet, free Otis Spunkmier Cookies!
• No spa and Jacuzzi, no continental breakfast.

• It was right on the beach and very convenient for getting around town.
• We had a two bed room and only needed a one bed. I would have liked to switch that.

• It was right on the beach with a great view.
• Parking spaces where to small for trucks they where made for compact cars.

“The price was great for the hotel room it was clean and quite with a great view of the ocean. The rooms where clean and comfortable. I will stay there again when I go back.”

• Location.
• Pool was closed for a while.

“Right on the beach, ok maybe 2300 steps to the beach, but it's right there. Nice hotel, two pools, one perfect for laps as it's only 3 feet deep. Multiple locations, if you like climbing stairs stay away from the tower with it's lift. Parking garage is accessable too.”

• Ocean view was beautiful, set near great little village.
• No AC. Room got hot at night. Windows too small.

“Great experience. Great view, historic bay front was good place to eat, the light house park was gorgeous. Good place to stay.”

• Great View!
• Hard to coordinate room cleanings and child naps.

“Rooms are nice size with a wonderful view. Walk to beach includes lots of stairs. Ok for me, but not so great for ederly parents and young children, especially when carrying buckets, towels, etc. Once you get to the sand, however, it's baby powder fine, fun to play in and clean. I will definitely consider returning. Don't expect any help from staff, except from the front desk. One staff member couldn't wait to beat me out of the elevator (no, I didn't have the kids with me) and others watched me struggle with heavy suitcases and children without offering to lift a finger. I received more help from strangers off the street.”
