• New bathrooms.

• View of harbor from window.

“I arrived late and tired, was greeted by friendly, professional staff person and quickly checked in to the room. The room was warm and welcoming. I had a corner room on the seventh floor which yielded a fantastic view of the waterfront. There were excellent restaurants in the hotel, but also a large variety within easy walking distance. Metro transit bus were also a short distance walk from the hotel. I loved it and will stay there again.”

• It was pretty.
• This hotel is a $36.00 cab ride to the Ferry and a $25.00 cab ride to the airport.

“This is a nice older Hotel. they offer coffee in your room. It seems clean. some of the staff is nice, and others need an adjustment.”

• Location.
• Run down.

“Hotel is fine for a person that is traveling through just looking for a clean place to sleep and shower. Food was fine but on the expensive side. All the lobby furniture was worn and shabby. It is convenient to all downtown facilities.”

• They have no shuttle service.

“This hotel is good for the tourist who wants to see the sights of downtown. My need for travel was to get from one point to another with little need for attractions. I need the shuttle because of having no car in Juneau during our stay there.”

• Had a nice old town feel to it.

“Parking is awkward, if you can get it at all. The rooms are basic and small. The hotel common areas are nice. Had we known that we would be charged extra for electricity, we would have stayed some where more convenient.”

• The lobby area had nice decor.
• Room was outdated and in need of remodel.

“The lobby area was nice and was that of a 3 star hotel. The room was in need of remodeling, in a major way. The hotel staff was very helpful, kind and professional.”
