• Close to downtown activities.
• Give preferential treatment to cruise tour guests.

“Could not sleep because of noise until 3 am. Linen on one bed was dirty. Initial check-in clerk was rude. Spoke with manager about room and they did give us a room on higher floor for next night after we mentioned we'd be staying there another 3 nights the following week.”

• Right dowtown, close to alot.
• Having to pay for parking, and not near as nice as the Hilton or Sheraton.

“The Westmark is a very convinient and friendly hotel, however it is not on the same level as the Hilton or Sheraton. I would compare them to a Holiday Inn in most places. I know Alaska is different, but when seeing the other hotels around, I felt the Westmark was a bit pricey. It was clean, but the beds were kind of hard and I wouldn't say there was anything special to this place. My wife and I have decided next time to just go camping, it's alot cheaper.”

• Convenient, well maintained and felt safe.
• Limited parking which I had to pay for.

“Good value for the business traveler, conveniently located to major attractions in downtown Anchorage. Restaurant had limited food choices but they were excellent. Wait staff was excellent.”

• The view of the Bay.
• Parking is a bit of a hassle.

“Nice hotel with a very friendly staff, can have nice view of the bay and mountains, but parking can be difficult based on the number of people at the hotel.”

• Staff was friendly, and restaurant had good food.
• Parking was not provided and was an extra $8 per day/night.

“Definitely not in the same league as other 3 star hotels in Anchorage but decent.”

• Comfortable bed.
• The shampoo and conditioner combo.

“There are very few parking spaces and the public parking around the hotel doesn't seem very safe.”
