• Clean contemporary design and wonderful staff.

“During our visit a flood was occurring in VA. Beach. The hotel did an excellent job compensating for this by explaining everything and remaining pleasant.”

• The hotel was the nicest hotel I've stayed in - the design of the room, with a swivel plasma, a couch, shower, and an awesome bed was amazing!
• Nothing.

“I loved the Hyatt Place. I've stayed at higher star places but never had an experience like this! I was in town for the VA Beach Half Marathon and enjoyed the kiosk check-in and check-out (but the staff was also very friendly and helpful), the gorgeous room, and overall decor of the hotel. My parents loved the little cafe and free breakfast. The staff even noticed that I was a runner and wished me luck on the way out and asked how I did on the way in.”

• Comfortable bed, nice TV, modern look.
• Unclean bathroom floor, did not get two queen beds.

“Nice hotel. Would have been very pleased but for two things, dirt on bathroom floor and we did not get two queen beds like we requested. One king for two adults and 3 small children. Liked the comfortable, modern, new feel of the hotel.”

• Hi definition TV was great.
• No TV channel listing.

“Temperature controlled by thermostat and blower was right next to bed. Went on and off all night, causing me to wake up and pull covers up and then kick them off when temperature rose; process repeated all night leading to restless night. Amenities are great and continental breakfast was excellent.”

• Room was very comfortable and well laid out.
• Bar area was a little lacking and the continental breakfast was average at best.

“For being an econo - Hyatt this hotel is very nice and clean. It had everything you could need except a full dining room or full bar. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. A bussiness traveler would be comfortable in this hotel room for a week.”

• It was very clean, brand new, and it was in a perfect location.

“The hotel was very nice, I enjoyed my stay. The hotel was new and modern and in a great location. The staff was nice enough. We were unable to order pay per view in our room due to technical difficulties with our television. The staff was not helpful in this matter at all. Other than that the hotel was great.”
