  • Key card problems when using elevator.

“Geared toward nearby sports arenas though not sports-themed, wonderful staff. Beautiful rooftop pool and spa.”

  • Staff was excellent - very friendly and efficient.
  • Did not care for our breakfast food, not service.

“Ideal location for access to activities at Safeco field. Close to train station. Used van service to get downtown Pike Place and other. This is an excellent way to go to these areas, to avoid parking and general traffic. I would not hesitate choosing this hotel for future travel to Seattle.”

  • Free Wifi.
  • The location and aucoustics. The hotel is 2 blocks from the train. The trains blow their whistle all night. Two 60ft neon signs across the street.

“So we were really disapointed with this hotel. This was billed as a downtown hotel, but it is not downtown. Any hotel by defenition that offers a free shuttle downtown is not downtown.”

  • Very nice rooms.
  • Construction was horrible. It was everywhere.

“The Silver Cloud hotel is a wonderful hotel and worth every penny. Unfortunately, construction in the area greatly takes away from the area and makes it feel dirty and unsafe (the area, not the hotel itself).”

  • Courtesy van delivered & picked up guests locally at no cost.
  • A wake up every morning beginning at 4:05 am from very loud train horns!

“The 4:05 train horns wake up every morning is unacceptable. The hotel solution? Ear plugs! They had a box of it at the front desk for all guests that complained. This is our very first unpleasant experience.”

  • Very comfy and would have enjoyed the hot tub & pool.

“Great place to stay if you are going to sporting events and easy walk to downtown. Very nice accommodations.”

  • Great service, big TV, free shuttle drops you off anywhere downtown.
  • $20/night charge for parking we didn't know about, bad neighborhood. Hot tub was broken.

“Was really mad about the unadvertised fee for parking and the clerk said it wasn't safe to park on the street.”

“Very nice rooms, while not close to anything, they did have a shuttle that would take you to the waterfront. We enjoyed a nice dinner at Elliot’s that was recommended by the driver. Drop off and pick up at the door of the restaurant. Wheat the hotel lacked in nearby amenities, it made up with its friendly staff. A car would be nice, but parking is steep at $20.00/night. It is only feet away from Safeco Stadium and if sports is your calling, a great place to stay for the games. The main gate is literally outside the door of the hotel. The beds were comfy and the rooms clean and quiet. All in all a very nice hotel but be prepared to take the shuttle or cabs to get anywhere. The area doesn't seem too safe at night. Hotel pool was nice on the roof, though very cold.”

  • Very clean. Quiet courtyard view.

“This hotel is perfect for attending games at Safeco or Qwest parks. We were there for a convention at the Washington State Convention center, so we had a bit of a walk. However, it was close enough that a quick stop for coffee on the way was enough to break up the journey and make it a very bearable 40 minutes or so.”

  • The bed.
  • Location.

“Location was great if your going to a game, not so good otherwise.”

  • It is a great location if you are there to watch the Sea hawks or the Mariners.
  • The neighborhood is kind of noisy.

“This was a very nice hotel in a nice location. There are a lot of things to do that are in walking distance. The stay was somewhat marred because on arrival to our room, we found packets of used chewing tobacco on the floor That was pretty gross. And the hotel parking valet lost our car.”

  • Clean and modern.
  • Noisy rooms since the trains go by all the time.

“Not convenient for going to downtown, shuttle bus were always booked for transfer.Noisy location.”

  • The hotel was fantastically located right across the street from Safeco Field. The rooms were beautifully designed and included flat screen tv.
  • Parking was expensive.

“Excellent choice for attractions, especially for baseball enthusiasts! The rooms were modern, clean, and spacious enough for the traveler. Comfortable bed, great bathroom, and flat screen!”

  • TV was off to the side of the room.

“Hotel was listed as downtown Seattle. it was about 1-1/2 mile walk, the shuttles were busy. it was not convient to downtown as listed.”

  • The beds were really comfortable!
  • Unless you are going to a game the location is not great for kids.

“I was happily surprised with the hotel - the room was great, nice little kitchen area, super tv, and good bathroom. The beds were comfortable and the room was surprisingly quiet considering the location. The location is good if you are going to a game or an adult wishing to experience pioneer square.”

  • Clean, best tv ever in a hotel.

“Very friendly and courteous staff. Very helpful with their recommendations for things to do and restaurants to dine at. Shuttle service to main attractions very well run with great staff.”

  • New and nice, good location for a ball game, but not a down town hotel.
  • Too far from down town.

“Very nice and new no problems.”

  • The room was tastefully decorated, comfortable beds and nice tub.
  • A little out of the way.

“The hotel is nicely appointed with clean rooms and comfortable beds with good bedding. The pool on the roof was nice-but small so was crowded at times. I would definitely recommend the hotel to friends-but advise them that it is not in the most convenient area. I was not advised that I would have to pay for parking!”

  • Free shuttle service.

“Room was very nice except the noise from train.”
