“Geared toward nearby sports arenas though not sports-themed, wonderful staff. Beautiful rooftop pool and spa.”

“Ideal location for access to activities at Safeco field. Close to train station. Used van service to get downtown Pike Place and other. This is an excellent way to go to these areas, to avoid parking and general traffic. I would not hesitate choosing this hotel for future travel to Seattle.”

“So we were really disapointed with this hotel. This was billed as a downtown hotel, but it is not downtown. Any hotel by defenition that offers a free shuttle downtown is not downtown.”

“The Silver Cloud hotel is a wonderful hotel and worth every penny. Unfortunately, construction in the area greatly takes away from the area and makes it feel dirty and unsafe (the area, not the hotel itself).”

“The 4:05 train horns wake up every morning is unacceptable. The hotel solution? Ear plugs! They had a box of it at the front desk for all guests that complained. This is our very first unpleasant experience.”

“Was really mad about the unadvertised fee for parking and the clerk said it wasn't safe to park on the street.”

Mary Ann from Maricopa,AZ “Very nice rooms, while not close to anything, they did have a shuttle that would take you to the waterfront. We enjoyed a nice dinner at Elliot’s that was recommended by the driver. Drop off and pick up at the door of the restaurant. Wheat the hotel lacked in nearby amenities, it made up with its friendly staff. A car would be nice, but parking is steep at $20.00/night. It is only feet away from Safeco Stadium and if sports is your calling, a great place to stay for the games. The main gate is literally outside the door of the hotel. The beds were comfy and the rooms clean and quiet. All in all a very nice hotel but be prepared to take the shuttle or cabs to get anywhere. The area doesn't seem too safe at night. Hotel pool was nice on the roof, though very cold.”

“This hotel is perfect for attending games at Safeco or Qwest parks. We were there for a convention at the Washington State Convention center, so we had a bit of a walk. However, it was close enough that a quick stop for coffee on the way was enough to break up the journey and make it a very bearable 40 minutes or so.”

“This was a very nice hotel in a nice location. There are a lot of things to do that are in walking distance. The stay was somewhat marred because on arrival to our room, we found packets of used chewing tobacco on the floor That was pretty gross. And the hotel parking valet lost our car.”

“I was happily surprised with the hotel - the room was great, nice little kitchen area, super tv, and good bathroom. The beds were comfortable and the room was surprisingly quiet considering the location. The location is good if you are going to a game or an adult wishing to experience pioneer square.”

“The hotel is nicely appointed with clean rooms and comfortable beds with good bedding. The pool on the roof was nice-but small so was crowded at times. I would definitely recommend the hotel to friends-but advise them that it is not in the most convenient area. I was not advised that I would have to pay for parking!”
