• It was close to the wharf.
• Beds were uncomfortable, room was too small and the carpet was wet in one area of the room.

“Apart from being too small and having uncomfortable beds, there was no where to plug the microwave into. They were supposed to have a special extension but it was missing. The clerk at the front desk was supposed to get us one but never did.”

• Great location-friendly staff.
• Very dark room-under an overhang-back of motel.

“Great location-near the beach and pier. Very friendly staff-helped us print maps from computer and gave great directions. Room was very dark-under an overhang in back of motel-felt like a cave. It certainly was ok for 1 night, but for a longer stay it was too dark. The rooms facing the courtyard and around pool appeared much brighter and inviting. Noticed many dark rooms at back of motel.”

• This hotel was very clean and bright. Very quaint.
• The bathroom in the two-double bed room is small.

“This hotel was exactly what you would expect for a town like Santa Cruz. Although it was not grand in size or brand new, it was quaint and clean. Lots of flowers. The managers were very nice to the customers. I also noticed they treated their staff very well. We stayed in two different rooms for two nights. The first room had two double beds and the bathroom was small. But the second night the room with one queen bed, had a very big bathroom. We enjoyed the whole weekend. We would stay there again.”

• I really liked almost everything!
• The mini-fridge seemed to have some sort of sleep apnia.

“Um, let's see. Things I didn't like: the clicking of the fridge, also sometimes it smelled a little close. Things I did like: the management, the bed, the shower, the cleanliness. It's not precisely fancy, but they've set up a really pretty sort of alcove, and, I don't know, I really liked it.”

• Walking distance to the beach and downtown.
• Liked everything. Got what

“Nice clean pool. Didn't use Internet service so not sure how well this worked. My wife and I had a short getaway trip on Monday and Tuesday which seemed to be a great time of week to enjoy all the local beaches and boardwalk without a lot of crowds.”

• This hotel was within walking distance to the beach and the boardwalk. It was also nice and quite during at night.
