• Location.
• Breakfast was poor on three out of three mornings, we had to ask for bread; the first morning there was no bread at all!

“Staff (with exception of the girl in attendance at night) was usually not nice, not smiling and neither helpful. We had to ask for new soap and shampoo in the bathroom, three days to change a light bulb and constant filthiness in the hallways.”

“St Charles Inn (Best Western) is conventienly located in a safe area. Parking was easy to access and parking was protected by security gate. Entrance to room was easily accessable from the parking area.”

• I liked the location and staff.

“The hotel is in a great location, on St. Charles right on the trolley line and the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay there again!”

• Well located, older hotel that has aged very gracefully.
• Liked everything.

“I've stayed in at least 10 hotels in New Orleans over the years, some costing twice as much. I will definitely return here. You don't need a car, the quaint and efficient St. Charles Trolley will pick you up and take you directly to the French Quarter. The hotel is comfortable, clean, and very well run.”

• Clean and convenient.
• Desk staff argued with me about broken room lock.

“Good location, great decor in rooms and very clean; I have stayed there several times and will continue to go back. Much better room quality than most Best Westerns.”
