“The location is great and the staff is very friendly. In the negative side, the A/C's are turned off during summer in the hallways, there is no room service and the bathroom is to small.”

“The hotel beds were too hard, it caused me to experience pain in my right knee and left shoulder. The bathroom was too small. There was no place to hang your towel while taking a shower. I could hear conversations other guests were having while in their room.”

“Everything was great except the lack of stopping rooms who were loud and the smell of pot throughout the floor. Persisted untill 5am.”

“For the most part the hotel was pleasant. The restaurant leaves a little to be desired and the bathroom arrangements were a bit strange.”

“Not happy I had to pay for parking and a refrigerator. Otherwise it is a nice hotel. Although it resembles the hotel from the movie the shining.”

“Hotel was very clean, the staff at the hotel were friendly and courteous. The parking situation is not good, they need to have more free parking for guests. The parking valet had an attitude and not helpful if you did not use the service.”

“The hotel was good for an evening or two. Currently the pool is under construction so that was a bummer. Parking was $15.00 and we were not aware of that. Overall good experience! Close to Uptown Charlotte which has several restaurants and things to do. We felt safe and had no concerns.”

“The hotel was very close to Bobcats arena and downtown Charlotte (if you don't mind walking a few blocks). Also, the staff was very friendly and helpful.”

“This hotel had comfortable beds, flat screen TV;s, clean bathrooms and towels. If you are looking for a nice, moderate hotel, this is the place. The lounge is fun to sit and have a few drinks in. We went for the Dallas Cowboy game, and it was so friendly and close to walking.”

“The hotel seems to be half way through a make over from a late 1960's hotel to a hip Ian Schrager style hotel. When it is completed it should be much nicer. The rooms are large with high ceilings and views for miles. It needs to link with hip DJ's, Designers, Local artists Jet Blue and Diago Liquors to turn up the heat.”

“They said they were remodeling, but I'm not sure where they were. There were bulbs out in the lobby's light fixtures. They forgot to clean our room the first night, and when I called and told them that, they said, "Why didn't they?" as if I should know! There was a daily charge for parking, which we weren't aware of.”
