“Unless you are going for the cooking classes (which, from what I saw seemed to be good), you will be dissapointed with the hotel. It used to be listed as an inn. But I can definately see why they changed the name. The hotel is located in an office like park. Next to a shopping center. The rooms were badly decorated and old. Only reason someone should go to this hotel is for the cooking classes, otherwise you will be dissapointed. The hotel has a dorm feel, since the students attend cooking school on site.”

“If you want a Vermont experience this is the place in the Burlington area. A great change from the high rise chain hotels. The rooms are very homey with lots of room. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, everything was clean and the bed was actually comfortable! The front desk called 20 minute after check in to make sure that the room was satisfactory. The gas fireplace in the room kept it nice and toasty on a chilly December night. The food was excellent at the tavern as well as the room service for breakfast, but since it is also the New England Culinary Institute, it is to be expected. The fitness center was lacking (a room with a treadmill, elliptical, and a couple of hand weights), but a new building is under construction to house a spa and fitness center. This will be our first choice to stay next time we are in the area.”

“New England Culinary Institute runs the restaurants. Sunday brunch is outstanding. Inn is friendly, clean, some charm. Fireplaces in many rooms. Our room showed wear, could use some redecorating. Not first class linens and mattress like 4 Seasons. Very pleasant stay.”
